Great place to visit. Walked thru the garden and saw many different types of plants and flowers. Enjoyed the butterfly garden as well. Many different types of butterflies flying around. The were also a couple grouse strolling around on the ground. The trains were fun also. 2 small towns set up with trains running around.
The butterfly gardens are incredible with so much variety. Our son had a blast on the playground. It is made of all sustainable materials and is one of the most unique playgrounds I’ve ever seen. The snake shack has really cool reptiles. And the whole thing can be experienced in 1-2 hours.
So much fun! For the price you get what you pay for and more. Had a truly amazing time here. I went to see the butterfly garden but they ended up having so much more. I also met this amazing friendly cat who was wondering around.:) make sure to say hi to him for me if you end up visiting!
Went on 12/6/24 great front lobby customer service. The young man at the gift shop was also so kind. Beautiful exhibition and if you let the people from the parking area your going to the gardens parking is free! But I do recommend bringing mosquito repellent. More
This place was absolutely beautiful! All the animals were so cool to look at. The butterflies were so gorgeous. The gardens are well kept and pretty as well with a beautiful water fountain. The snake exhibit was cool too. Would definitely come back here!
Had the awesome opportunity to visit the TD Gardens. Such a beautiful, peaceful location. A great place to relax and enjoy. The gardens allow a lot of roaming around and seeing the various plants and garden . Noticed a wedding being set

BEAUTIFUL!!! brought the kids here to learn about butterflies and they had so many to look at!! They do butterfly release at 12p but unfortunately there were not enough to do a whole show so instead they offer special tickets to release one
Texas Discovery Gardens is an enchanting and charming oasis tucked in South Dallas. We got married on the circle lawn, the weekend before the Texas State Fair started, and we couldn’t have picked a better venue. Teresa took care of all the
THIS PLACE NEEDS TLC. all the tanks are green filled with algae & its sooo many dead plants. nothing is cleaner or dusted. it’s so many dead butterflies getting caught in the cobb webs that haven’t been cleaned. donated some money, but i’m
Took a family trip here and it was well worth it! They have a few nice animal exhibits in the main lobby area. We grabbed some coloring sheets to take home. The butterfly garden was gorgeous! Everything is temperature controlled so it was
What an amazing place! Think dallas arboretum but on a smaller scale. Plus an indoor butterfly garden, which was amazing in itself. There were so many butterflies that I've never seen before and giant moths bigger than your hand. We loved
❄️☃️We were able to enjoy watching The Pollar Express movie after usual hours thanks to our membership. The staff were very friendly and provided goodies for us and kept the hot chocolate flowing. We felt very welcome. My kiddo gets very
Absolutely wonderful experience! Parking was free and right across the street from the gardens. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cost of admission for a family of 3 was $25 and we spent over two hours here. I didn’t get any pictures
This place is so worth the time and the 10$. Take the family or just your date to this place... also a great place for proposing. They have ponds of water scattered in the gardens outdoors. The secret garden is fun to find and they even
A peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Our family, including the little ones, really enjoyed seeing the variety of flowers and plants in the gardens, even getting to see some flowers we had never seen before. As we walked through the
This is a fun place for children. There is a lot of outdoor space for running and a playground (limited) for climbing. The butterfly area was slightly small but still beautiful. There is a snake house with around 8 different snakes for
Very peaceful place to visit. It's only $10 for adults and $8 for children. They have a nice outside garden as well including a snake house. I would recommend going in the spring or summer when flowers are more likely to be growing and
A great nature centric area to visit. The butterfly garden is probably the highlight of the experience, but the model train areas they have were a personal favorite of mine. Kind, helpful staff, and great sights to see!
The butterfly house was just magical. There was a good variety of butterflies. There is two levels and is stroller friendly. The garden areas were very beautiful and had lots of benches to enjoy the view.
This was an amazing find in the city. Green, beautiful and absolutely gorgeous. There is a butterfly garden, snake house (which was closed when we went there), secret garden, hummingbird gardens and so much more.
A great place to spend some time, my kids enjoyed the exhibits and we loved seeing all the butterflies! although the squirrels we got to see everywhere might have been my son's favorite part
The butterflies were bountiful! There are so many different varieties to see. However, the place needs some TLC and some updating. We picked a hot day to go, and a cafe would have been great. More
Great local attraction. Just be sure to go when flowers are in full bloom and weather isn't so hot. It's a quick little attraction to enjoy with the family. More
Super dope spot. Great for families, and the butterfly exhibit is a must-see. Not too much walking, which is kinda nice. You can definitely see the whole park.
such a beautiful and peaceful time, my first time going ever and it was definitely worth it, go at least one time in your life you won’t regret it! More
This place is magical! Lots of neat things to check out. The butterfly house is awesome! And the garden grounds are spectacular.
Hot, but lots of shade. Inside of a nice and air conditioned. The Aquarium next door is reopened too. Loves the butterflies.
