I was hesitant to use megabus for my trip to Toronto because of all the reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The wifi was choppy at times but worked for the most part. The power outlets did not work or were really hard to find, so I recommend bringing a portable battery and show up with your devices fully charged since the outlets are unreliable. The seating on the single decker was indeed uncomfortable but the double decker ones were actually spacious and more comfortable. On my trip there and back we left right on time. They don't even waste a minute. I was expecting it to be way more disorganized than it was, but they were punctual and the buses themselves are what you would expect from a normal bus. It isn't luxury, but its average and reasonable for what you pay for. I would use their services again.

First of all, don't expect WiFi. They advertise that all their buses have them, but ours definitely did not. The service is not particularly friendly, and the worst part is, some of the seats are directly under air vents (not the same as the personal air vents for each seat), which blows out cold air throughout the entire journey. So if you're unlucky, you get to sit through a bumpy 6-hour ride with icy air blasting your head. We asked the driver if that could be turned lower (there was no need for air conditioning--it was 5 degrees outside!)--and he just shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. The positives: the bus did get us to our destination on time, and we had no issue with our luggage. It's not an altogether comfortable journey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Worst bus company !! We were going to Toronto with 6 friends. The bus had to stop for changing the bus driver and 4 of my friends needed to buy some beverages. They enjoyed this break for going to the store. After a few minutes the new bus driver came and he starting to leave the bus station without my friends !!! We could see my friends were coming back but still the bus driver didn't want to wait for them whereas we all paid for these tickets.... he could have wait 30 more seconds and we would have no problems. I don't recommend this bus company who doesn't give a s*** about his customers and who provide a very low servicing.

Montreal - Toronto and back. I arrived early - earlier than the 15-minute recommended - because I had not purchased a reserved seat, but the bus departed right on time. Seats were comfortable enough, especially considering the price. The wi-fi was a bit slow, which is not all that surprising for a bus, and there were charging sockets at every seat. The return trip arrived some 15 minutes late because of traffic (heavy construction). All staff encountered were really friendly. An overall pleasant experience, would use their services again.

After all the long list of complaints that I have heard about Megabus from disgruntled passengers my megabus experience came as very pleasant surprise. I found the seats quite comfortable and the bus started on time. There was a delay in reaching the destination because of the traffic. While the promised 'Free Wifi' from Montreal to Toronto and from Toronto to Niagara just remained a promise that never materialised I had Wifi access on my way back. The signal strength was poor but still it was something compared to nothing.

This is my go-to service for travel between Montreal and Toronto. The pricing is incredible, especially if you are able to book a few weeks in advance. The bus itself can be hit or miss. I've had trips that are hot and stuffy, and a couple trips where there was no wifi service, and the last bus I had did not have outlets so my devices were all dying by the end of my 6-7 hour trip. The drivers have all been friendly and helpful, and this will continue to be my method of choice for traveling to Toronto.

The facility itself isn't in the best shape, and the washroom is quite gross, but the people are quick and efficient. They leave pretty close to on time, but they don't consistently arrive on time, so don't plan anything right after your expected to arrive, because there's a decent chance you won't make it. But the buses are good quality, and even for a tall guy, I fit "relatively" comfortably in the seats. The on board toilet is terrible and doesn't even have soap.

I booked two tickets from Megabus for $100 initially, due to my schedule change, I traded my tickets, there was $50 credit. after a few days when I wanted to buy another ticket, the credit of $50 is gone. there was no warning message whatever tells you that credit will not carry over. I called customer service, they said they cannot do anything about it. horrible service, this company make people feel like they are eating the money. do not recommended.

I used Megabus for the first time in january 2014 to travel to Toronto and it was an amazing experience. The drivers were on schedule on both departing and returning. Seats were comfortable and its nice that they have power outlets and internet for the price they charge. Only bad thing is that they should allow maybe a 15min break for a 6h00 trip. Anyways I would definitely use their service again!

Must be a prank or something. Incredibly dirty and smelly... No clear signs or directions, can’t believe they pretend to be a coach company.
