Layered, soft (inside) & crispy (outer layer) hot Porotta and Superb Beef Roast Ordered Egg Noodles (though not a favorite in a kerala restaurant at bangalore) for my daughter. Was really good - premium hotel quality - not the spicy street food style one. I have attached an image for reference. 4 star because the biriyani and beef fry was found average. May be a problem with the one that we got or the day we ate. Anyway it's a nice place to sit and eat the items hot. --------++++++++++++-------- Visited another time for my 3 year old to have her favorite noodles. While taking the order, I sensed some confusion when I asked to prepare for my little one. When I checked with the person who took the owner, he told everything is fine and order is on the way. But the moment we received it, it was celar that they have messed it up. My daughter just tasted using the fork and rejected saying it's hot (spicey). That guy who was watching closely came to us and apologized saying that the cook had injured his finger and some other cook managed to do it. I don't find it as any help anyway! And as an icing on the cake, when I told that we are not interested in having it, he billed it with a smile and gave the noodles as parcel. How sweet!! --------++++++++++++-------- Visited again - 02/12/2021 Place has been shifted to the very next place and it's more spacious now. Ample parking space too. The food remains as tasty as earlier. Had Beef fry, Beef roast and porotta. All were so good - well cooked beef with right ingredients that savour the taste buds. Tried the noodles again for my kid. It was so nice as it used to be! Had lemon tea too which was nice. My wife took a grape juice which seemed costly (70/-). The staff is courteous and prompt. Will keep visiting for sure.

Tried this place in multiple modes. Let me describe each. 1. Home delivery This is the one we tried the most. Initially, the ordered food, mostly the portion needed for two, used to reach us (less than half a km) in a jiffy. Nowadays, even basic orders like a single item takes more than an hour to reach. 2. Take Away While placing take away orders, they are very proactive and hand the order over very fast. 3. Dine In Though I'm a vegetarian, tried the dine in option for my wife, once. The order was taken after a long wait and once served, I had to literally switch the seat to escape the smell of the raw-fried fish; was really nauseating. The non-veg eater too agreed upon the raw-fry - i.e. fried without any coating of spice. 4. Vegetarian Options The options for veg are very limited. Ironically, you won't be able to find any Kerala-style veg items on sale during the day. You'd practically have to settle down for either a paneer or a cauliflower. Their menu will have a long list of Tandoor items, but mostly the items won't be available. The available veg items are also extremely oily and lacks the typical taste of the item. The only exception in this list is the few veg items available in Kerala-style breakfast. 5. Recent and Seasonal Changes Recently, the quality of veg items has come down drastically. I presume, this is since they're interested to focus more in non-veg. The biggest decline in quality is in the delivery time. It's too long that by the time the ordered dish arrives, we'd have lost our appetite - no exaggeration here. Seasonally, when the routine chefs mostly take time off, we can see improvements in quality of north Indian style food like paneer dishes. But this change would be short-lived, till the routine cook returns.

Don’t visit this place until unless you are too craving for some dishes in the name of Kerala dishes. Very average quality food and not worth for money. Biriyani May look good and a bit okay. But chicken curry and beef dishes won’t make you feel good at all if you have ever tasted good Kerala food. Alert:- Never try mutton roast at all. You will feel like a large uncut portion boiled and dipped in some masala and given to you. It seriously reminded me the “Doddaly” from an old Malayalam movie. If you ask me what is good at the place, I will tell ambience and Peking space. Even restrooms are stinking like hell and you can see the stems of agarbattis/ scent sticks kept on the walls for spreading the fume inside to hide the stinky experience. Over all experience is poor and I don’t feel to recommend this place to anyone ever in the current scenario. I may given 1.5 out of 5 rating for now.

Average! We have less time, so unable to sit and eat, we takeout. 1. First we ordered veg meal, after non-veg meal, she told veg meal or non-mela are same only but we given extra chicken gravy. But in that parcel no extra chicken gravy . 2. Second we ordered Fish Curry (I have less time so making her to parcel on quick) in that urgent they parceled chicken gravy . She asked to replace, but I said no problem next time will see. 3. Reached home and opened chicken gravy very very less quantity only 4 small chicken piece and less gravy also no chicken gravy for non-veg meals. Taste also average only. I am Really Disappointed about quantity. For that price quantity is not up to mark. Please increase Variety of meals like veg meal, chicken meal and fish meal.

Latest update: However the owner of the restaurant is a real gentleman. He called us back, apologised and delivered 2 plates of fish fry to our home. Thank you for that Sir . And food is really delicious. In the name of fish meal they served only gravy and no fish. And the lady in the reception is so manner less, she started arguing that fish meal means only fish gravy and no fish. It was a takeaway and we discovered it at home that only gravy was packed and no fish. So we called the restaurant. She told us that we should have known that fish meals comes with only gravy and no fish and disconnected the call. Beware of this type of employees

We went there late at night, we ordered Rumali Roti and a non veg curry, the food was good, then we had a carving for appam we asked the waiter (whom we later found was of someone in-charge of the restaurant) for appam. At first he said the appam is finished, so we were going for the bill but then he came back and said how much appam you need! We said four:) After a while he brought us freshly made appam, and damn! Recently moved to this area, this is the only good kerala restaurant nearby, Must try- idiyappam and egg curry, alfam and porota, beef/chicken roast and ghee rice Biriyani, Meals and chicken curry are average. Staffs are very friendly. Live preparation so we have to wait 10 to 15 mints. I will give an overall rating 4/5. And for the idiyappam and egg curry 5/5.

Yesterday[25th October 2020] I took a beef biriyani parcel from this restaurant in the late evening for the first time and encountered a very bad experience. The meat was half-cooked. The most ugliest biriyani I ever had in Bangalore. Before I placed the order I asked all the questions and the way he talks was amazing. I hate getting cheated and this is my personal experience, please do not order beef biriyani, it was sweet....I strongly believe that these fellows are fond of Onions rather than making it tastier. I am sure it was not red-meat[in fact I asked specifically before I placed the order]. Sorry, I cannot comment about other dishes and would recommend everyone to stay away ordering this item from the list because I hate cheaters.....

A quaint restaurant that most malayalees will flock to. My personal favourite is kerala parotta with poth roast or fry, hmmm heavenly. The poth roast is so tender and juicy. The kerala parotta is soft flaky and just the right texture on the palate. Unfortunately I have not been able to order anything else as this combo is irresistible . It is Kerala hotel. I went this restaurant after seeing the reviews. I bought chicken biryani and chicken 65 parcel. When I opened the chicken biryani parcel, I found white rice (small size rice) which is not cooked properly (only 20% cooked rice). And there was left over chicken kebab with tomato subji in the biryani. And they call it as biryani. Please don't go with pictures which they are showing in the menu and shop poster. Chicken 65 also was not good. We eat little and threw it. Every one got stomach pain in my family after having this.

We had ordered malabar chicken biryani. The quality was soo bad and nowhere it can be called malabar biryani.. I am from malabar and I know what malabar biryani is. The fried chicken pieces in the biryani felt like left out chicken kababs kept in fridge for 2 days and fried again . The rice was ok.. For a true Biryani lover like me this place is a total disappointment. I fortunately did not eat the chicken pieces in biryani after tasting it . But my husband had 1 piece and his stomach got upset .

This an awesome Kerala restaurant. Since last few days My all time meals happens there only. They just started and adding items to their menu slowly. They starred serving breakfast from Feb 1. They use mostly their own masala and coconut oil. Very friendly behaviour with a reasonable pricing and quality compared to near by restaurants. You will love it. I had meals, chappathi egg curry, mix veg curry idly etc. All are tasty. It is just opposite to the HP Petrol bunk and behind Malabar Galleria.

The reception lady attitude is like she is the British queen... food also not that good ... I had chicken biryani...not recommended

I've had breakfast and dinner from here on different days. Porotta wasn't that great, what I got felt a bit undercooked, with less of that toasty brown color. Naadan Chicken curry was really tasty and its quantity too was appropriate. Appam wasn't served hot but tasted and felt so good. Egg curry was very tasty and had enough gravy. Enough car parking space on the outside.

Ordered Beef Biryani. Beef roast when covered in Ghee rice does not change magically to Biryani. Biryani has to smell & taste like biryani. The meat pieces cannot be small cubes like a curry. Very disappointed in my last 2 visits to this place.

This place serves dishes from Kerala cuisine at decent price and very good taste. There are some unique dishes like Al-faham style pomfret fish and fish tikka. The usual optionsfrom the cuisine like Kerala style meals, Aila fry, Paratha, Kerala style curries - egg, channa and others are very good. They also serve Kada (quail) fry, roast and biryani. Overall, one o the best places in the area for Kerala style food.

Tasty Yum is a little place for very yummy Kerala style food. The food is freshly prepared and hence they can adjust the amount of chilli in the dish you are ordering according to your wishes. They make very tasty meat cutlets, chicken biryani and beef dry fry. The owner is courteous and welcoming. We mainly ordered take away and we have never been disappointed so far. The prices are extremely reasonable.

As a non malayali, got to experience typical kerala style chicken biryani after so many years outside kerala at this restaurant.It reminded me of my kerala days. Amazing taste and flavour. Must have for lunch or as a brunch as i feel the true taste of biryani can be relished only on an empty stomach and when you are really hungry.

On 12/6/22 purchased 2 chicken briyani and a veg fried rice. Quality was very bad, oily and chicken was old one, deep fried chicken ( very hard eat) mixed with briyani masala and served. The chicken Al faham was lip smacking (quarter priced around ₹130). My friends were all praise for their food in general. Will definitely try it again when I'm around.

3rd class food. Ordered food for a family function and it turned out to be a Disaster. The chapatis were not at all cooked and the appam tasted worst. Had to throw everything in garbage. You should change your name from Tasty Yum to "TASTELESS YUCK". I will not recommend this place to anyone.

This business monster always want to increase the food prices as per their own choice. Money looting is their habits. Still they will call you to convince without any logic. Food is not worth for the price. A prison have better food than Tasty yum. Pathetic catering and dangerous billing.

Searching for places to eat Kerala food in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The alfaham may be the best charcoal item I’ve ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it.

Don’t trust this guys if you are ordering food to deliver at home. They will take order and after 1 hour they not even respond your call. Guys if you people are unable to deliver don’t give false promises to customers. It’s very bad

Food is very oily and mixture of any masala... Example I ordered chicken fried rice where I humbly requested for less oil and it's for kid so non spicy..... To my surprise it was highly oily and mixture of nonsense spices which gave a terrible taste ....

Startup. Tasty food. I strongly believe they will be upto the mark in another 2,3 months. Fresh and tasty food. Reasonable rate and moreover organic. they have enough space for expansion and parking. Best Kerala food for a middle class people.

They charge 35% extra then other restaurants.. disappointed not value of money

Owner doesn't care about services to customers. Reception guy and server doesn't care about the food preparation. If we order food they cook for them and go inside instead of serving to customer s Worst restaurant in Sarjapura road.

Nice breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner menu. Good parking space. Kerala food menu is good. About staff, they are too good and nice hospitality. Premises is cleanly maintained. They have home delivery within Sarjapur area.

Woooww......such a nice ambience... Staff & food quality was just awesome.. Tasty Yum & Tasty Adda. The best Restaurants ever in Sarjapur Road thanks for the yummy tasty food

Food is oky. But parcel charges are more i took chicken tika which was provided to me in plastic bag instead of container. Its not matter of Rs10 but atleast spend Rs5 to Rs8 even if its dry item dont just add parcel charges

Onam sathya meals was really bad. Please don't go in the next year
