I would like to express my absolute gratitude for the care and attention my beautiful little girl Millie received from both the Kingston and the Bellerive Tasmanian Veterinary Hospitals. This was our first visit due to the nature of the emergency and travel as we had only recently moved nearby (and were yet to suss out new options). With this being said this is quite tough to write as the outcome was one that couldn’t unfortunately be cured or fixed; the lengths the staff went to were beyond words (every single option exhausted). The caring and understanding greetings, taking my constant concerned calls, answering every question in detail, check ins, the ‘can do’ attitude to every single extreme measure idea I had on top of their already in depth considerations The added miles they went extended to late night emergency after hour care, contacting interstate specialists for further opinions, blood tests rushed in person to pathology, the added time with her and us, the love and at the end they even inked her little paw prints and placed them on card for us to keep forever. We received a beautiful bunch of flowers from Kingston the following day and a very beautiful card from Bellerive in the post. The most caring Vet Clinic’s I had ever been to and as heartbreaking and sad as the outcome was, I am so happy she passed with her family and the care of these wonderful people beside her. We now have no hesitation on choosing where our other fur child Marley will be coming for his ongoing future care. Dr Isabel, Dr Jim and the whole of both the teams, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Such a horrible time in our lives was made a little easier because of you all. Hannah and Dan.

Wasn’t the worst experience but I did feel like they took advantage of the fact that my dog was dying and that I am trying to keep him alive. they seemed to do a lot of the same stuff more than once just to find out the same out come ah it was a almost a week of all different prosecutors and they described as if they would work but they never did, I understand that’s how it works but I did feel a little bit like they only wanted the money, like before I finally decided to put him down right before (whilst I was absolutely devastated and crying) they took me out of the room to pay, that hurt a lot, like just give me time to say good bye

Cannot thank Dr Russel and staff enough when we took our aged chihuahua for assessment as we couldn't get into our own vet. Sadly, it was time for our little Pedro to rest after recently experiencing much pain. The compassion, love and empathy shown by Dr. Russel and his entire staff was second to none. He puts the comfort and what's best for your pet first which is fine by me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone! Pedro left this world with love, hugs and we were blown away with the gentle lead up to eventually saying goodbye to our darling boy. So very professional.

We couldn't be happier with the service and care that we received from the Kingston TVH. Dr Russel, Dr Izzy, Sheridan and all the nurses were all fantastic and I give a personal recommendation for this veterinary hospital. We were going to another vet in Kingston for several years but we had had enough and decided to switch and we are so glad we did. Sheridan is warm and welcoming and never makes you feel like you are a bother. Dr Russel showed the utmost care with our little dog and I'll return to this hospital with no hesitation.

My experience at this vet clinic was with Dr Isabel, the care given to Daisy dog was the best I could have ever wished for. She diagnosed serious cancers other vets did not, only a week previously. Even a surgeon who was called in for specialist operation late that night was very impressed she picked up a mass in her stomach before it ruptured, whilst doing routine dental work. I look forward to bringing along my new dog for her to take care of, would not dream of going else where.

A friend recommended this vet hospital after we had a bad experience with another. She was right, from the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and cared for...not just a number! They looked after our puppy, then our elderly dog a few months later and both times their care was exemplary!

I have an 8 year old diabetic dog who also has recently been diagnosed with dry eye and the vets at this clinic have been amazing. I don't know what I would do without them and their support. Love this clinic ❤
