I try avoid this Target because I have had numerous issues at this location over the years. I usually drive an extra 5-10 mins and and go to the other Target locations even though this target is closer to my house. Today I had to grab things from a few stores in this plaza so I convinced myself going into this Target it would be fine. I was reminded yet again why I shop at the other Target locations. I had an item that needed to be held at customer service while I finished my shopping and was told someone could go grab it from customer service for me when I checked out. I got to the self checkout, scanned all my items and no one was there to help . I waiting a few mins and a girl eventually came over. She did not seem to care multiple people needed help at this point nor interested in helping anyone. I let her help a few others because I wasn’t in a rush and let her know I needed my final item from customer service to check out. She told me to go over there to check out. I let her know the team member on the floor told me to just tell her I needed the item and she could bring it over. She just stood there. Another team member overheard and went to customer service and came back letting me know someone would bring it over. I stood there a few mins and no one came and the lines were getting long. I asked if she could double check to see if the person was still planning yo bring it over. She looked over there and said he probably was still, he just got busy- didn’t check on it or ask. I overheard her conversations with others while I was waiting and it was very clear she did not care to help me or anyone else asking for help. She just stood there looking at her hands. Little eye contact and little interaction or greetings to people walking past her. I ended up waiting so long that I just checked out and went to the customer service desk myself and a guy at their desk was quickly able to help me. He was very helpful but the first interaction is sadly not the first time at this specific location the cashier employees just don’t seem to care to help the customers needing help. ANY amount of effort would have been a huge improvement from the girl who just didn’t have any desire to help anyone. Please consider who is working at your front self check out as well as your regular registers. These people have the most interaction with the customer and I can promise others felt the same way I did today. Multiple people rolling eyes at check out is not how you want people leaving your store.
PEOPLE SHARE THIS! Supposedly this Target throws away all return pre-packaged sealed food. That means that if you return a box of cereal, sealed oreo cookies, canned goods, cake mix... it gets TRASHED. I returned some pre packed SEALED cake mix, marshmallows and other baking items that I knew that I would not get around to making or using and the lady at the Guest Services counter decided to pretty much shame me in front of other guests by telling me that food items that I was returning would be thrown away. I was like, these are unopened boxes of cake mix and cereal! I dont know any other stores that throw items like this away. I even asked a local grocery store right down the street from Target if they did that and they said NO. They used to during COVID, but not anymore. I mean if that is the case, cant Target donate the items to a local food pantry? I even asked that and she said NO, that there are too many risks doing that. Well, dont food pantries take risks every single day by taking food donations from food drives and people cleaning out their pantries or from people who just want to help out? That is where the food comes from on most occasions, so why not give the returned food items to them? I was there on December 22 at around 7pm. Yes the store was bombarded because we just had 2 days of bad weather, Christmas was right around the corner and there were 100's of people waiting in cars to pickup orders. I get that it was busy, but this woman at the "Guests Services" counter was less than pleasant. She was RUDE beyond words and shouldnt be working Guest Services if she doesnt want to be pleasant and helpful. I am not saying that she should lose her job, I am just saying that she needs to be in a position where she isnt speaking to or helping people as she obviously doesnt like to.
The recent remodeling has ruined the store. As much as I hate Walmart, I think I'd rather go there. This is horrible, they have taken out all the departments that were making them money for some reason. For instance movie sales have been going up the last two years so they take the movies out... And many of us actually bought movies at Target because they would have different product than other stores. I have heard many people complaining about this one... they have cut back the cat food section and the toys are a mess. On top of that they have taken out the collectibles section even though it was making them a lot of money as well. They don't listen to customers and just going into the men's clothing department will give you an idea of what it's going on here. When in to buy a T-shirt couldn't even find anything worth wearing. As a fan of the old Target I am very disappointed. The electronics department is a complete fiasco. The whole situation is worse than what Best Buy has been doing. Best Buy might as well be called a cell phone company and now Target electronics is just as bad, even including TVs that no one is going to buy there. Sadly I don't think I'll be going back. If I wanted a TV, Best Buy and Walmart already have it covered, I went to Target because they carried different products and they had a collectible section that was really awesome. Whoever's in charge of this horrible remodel I hope you're happy because you've ruined your stores.
Hello fellow target shoppers. I want to inform you that you’re most likely over paying for your cat or dog food. I can speak about cat food for sure. I have on numerous occasions taken my food to the counter and it rang up at least $3 over what it was priced on the shelf. Check for yourself, I’m sure it’s still happening. I know it is at the one up North anyway on Madison Ave. I wonder now what other products it’s ringing up incorrectly. If you were unaware of this I’d start checking from now on, I can only imagine how many other customers have been over charged and probably for years. It all adds up and I don’t know why they can’t seem to get their pricing in line with what they’re advertising on the shelf. Is someone not doing their job? I take it to the counter and notify the older lady of the pricing issue after she rang it up and she mentions customer service, I don’t blame her I blame management’s. Sorry but it’s not the customers fault you are over charging your customers. She changed the price right at the counter to what I told her it was. What a rip off at a time when every dollar counts, you don’t care enough to get it right, I’m sure most customers are not catching this problem. Now you know fellow shoppers beware of the price issue on cat food for sure and probably the same in the dog food section. Actually they’ll probably read this review and finally get it done.
Beware of the Starbucks inside of this store! Not only was the customer service absolutely horrific, but they are way over charging for a drink by almost a dollar more and claimed that the prices inside of the Super Target Starbucks are more expensive. That has turned out to be false. So the employees are pocketing the money they make by charging you extra. Because they think they are entitled to some sort of tip I’m assuming for their horrible service. I came here on Wednesday, January 4, 2022, after an appointment that I had in the area. I wanted to order my usual drink, which is $5.75 for a Venti iced caramel macchiato, and I questioned the price because I thought it was odd with zero extra add-ins because I thought that it was high. $6.50! Are you kidding me? Hopefully they get enough complaints and get someone to take some action because this is not OK and is technically theft for an already expensive coffee. Oh, and the cashier with the glasses and purple hair refused to give me a receipt and said it wasn’t possible to go back, look it up and print it out for me.
The people in the electronics department on 06/06/23 at around 3 were the most unhelpful and rude employees I’ve ever encountered at a target. They were teens that didn’t want to help and were just talking eating lunch in the electronic section. Myself and two other people were looking for other employees and one of the girls finally asked if we needed help only to press the call button. No one was coming so I asked her if she could press it again and she laughed with her friend and said they’ll be there. Once I was finally helped, the girl who came gave me what I needed as I stood at the checkout lane. She then proceeded to help someone else instead of check me out and I had to ask if I could take my product to the front because it was locked in a case and I didn’t want it to beep or anything. Overall this target is okay, but staff has never done anything above and beyond for the customer that me or anyone I know have witnessed or experienced. :( I normally don’t write these kinds of reviews but I was made very uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Worst Target experience ever. Came in after work at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday evening. Absolutely no carts inside the store. All carts are in the parking lot. No regular cash registers open, only self check. Bought over $300 of items and had the pleasure of stacking my bags ON THE FLOOR because self check out counter is too small to hold more than 1 bag of items. Absolutely ridiculous and zero customer service. They are training us to expect nothing from them and be happy for the privilege of shopping.
I’ve literally been sitting here for almost 30 minutes waiting for my drive up order. I called twice and no one answered. More cars are pulling up. I called corporate to let them know about this (they were not able to contact them/help either, only took down a complaint) I would not expect this from Target. Walmart, maybe, but not Target. If I wanted to go inside I would have just done that instead of the drive up option. Ridiculous !
This place is nasty. Either they are going out of business or all their associated quit. I could not believe how disorganized nearly every isle was. The best part is a worker just scooting something under the rack when their cart got hung up I feel as though it would take a decent while to get this bad. I would expect this from a TJ Maxx or Family Dollar, but Target....... shame on you.
I live right near this Target and have come quite a few times. No matter when I come whether it's early on a weekday, late, or a weekend there is always a huge line. There is one person sometimes no person actually at a check out ringing up people. You have to wait in a huge line and oftentimes check out your items. Most of my experiences though with staff have been pretty pleasant
Wow. Today was an enormous savings day provided by Target. A $15 discount on something I'd been shopping months for. I was so excited I could barely type on my keyboard. Thank you for the break, Target, when so many of us are trying to just get by. Not Amazon, not Walmart, not Lowe's or Home Depot were discounting this product ----- and there you were!!!!!
Sandra at guest services was definitely an unhappy camper today. No “Hi” “Welcome in” just blank faced and when I asked her how her day was she said “good.” What terrible guest experience, maybe have a kinder person who actually cares for their job at your registers.
Only had one checker. Even Walmart has more people working. I thought Target was supposed to be better than Walmart. Apparently not! And of course the self checkout line had more than 20 people in it and there was workers just standing around talking.
Awful checkout experience. Not once in months have I gone in and there been a cashier. Always a big line to self-checkout because people with a cart full of items are forced to use the self-checkout. Clean and somewhat organized enough though.
It's ok to shop at! It's not too busy at any time! They don't have a large grocery area, so it's more of a shopping for household! Plenty of parking! The store isn't located in the best area, so be vigilant during your entrance and exit!
This morning at this location there were absolutely no cashiers at the store! If they force customers to self checkout then they need to lower their prices! I am not an employee of Target! How can you not have any cashiers available
Check the packages of items you're purchasing before you leave the store. I purchased Go Fit Bands, which there should be three, and there were only two. There is so much theft at this store, and we are the ones paying for it.
Target drive up service is fast and convenient and very helpful. This is really a great service for persons with disabilities who use wheelchairs can not get out of the house due to weather conditions or some other reason.
They have lower prices on many items and the store is always neat and clean. The also have a Starbucks inside and the staff is always there to help me because I am in a wheelchair Great place to shop!
This is absolutely ridiculous. I've been coming to this store since they opened. Once again, there is ONE EMPLOYEE. Only self checkout is open, and backed up with 20+ people. Absolutely unacceptable.
I love self check out However I am efficient I have my target card ready, all my boxes turned bar code up , small things gathered together for bagging In Out done ✔️ Self check out Isn't for everyone
Not a very good experience... Guest services could definitely let go of a few older ladies that act like they don't want to be there. Seems to be the same experience every time I encounter them.
Jesus Christ Loves You #truth “Target is on TARGET!!!” We cannot wait to partner with… …Aim & hit the TARGET #AidenChronicles In Jesus Name Amen
Why in the morning always your self-checkouts are closed? People are waiting for 2 cashiers in big lines
The associates are always friendly and I am always able to get exactly what I need at this location.
Alvin helped us in electronics and was extremely helpful and awesome! Appreciate people like this
Not a single person working checkout lanes and the self checkout is ridiculously long
Very clean. Prices are hard to read on the shelves... otherwise would have been 5 ☆.
The chick in the beauty department is hot, I would definitely marry her …
