This is not a good place to dine in…. Our experience started when we started looking at Takeaway menus as waitress was busy on phone. Shortly after we were handed the dine in menu and realised that the prices were approximately 20% more which was the first red flag …. We then proceeded to order entrees, bread and main meal….. 5 to 10 minutes later the waitress came back to inform us we there was a $30 per head minimum …. Asking how much we had ordered she told us it was only $27 total which wasn’t correct so I did the math myself and informed her it was $52…. Then the boss comes out and tells us he will check it only to tell us it was ok as it was actually $64. I’m not sure how he arrived at $64 but in light of the fact there was nothing on the menu stating we had to spend 30 per head and that after 25 minutes of to-ing and fro-ing to be informed we were gonna be totally ripped off before we ate the decision to politely tell them to ram it was made and we went to the lovely Indo/ chinese 2 doors down where we were met with much better service in a much more inviting and cosy dining room

Food is always good, only thing dropping it from a 5 is sometimes the naan bread is burnt. Service is always great from the younger man that does the front counter. He is always lovely and seems to know all of his customers. The restaurant its self is not somewhere I would feel comfortable sitting down and having a meal in. Absolutely needs to be redone if they want people to dine in and not get take away only.

Not feeling in the mood to cook, and craving some amazing curry I decided to order from Tandoori curry house . Our meal was ready in a timely manner and the staff were friendly when I picked it up. Our meals were spiced beautifully and the portions were generous. The garlic naan is so addictive, with a really nice texture. The rice was cooked well and the butter chicken was delicious and creamy with tender pieces of chicken. Overall, it was a good option for takeaway, and we enjoyed our meal.

First time for us, we had dinner. BYO/Licensed. Basic restaurant setting but oh do they make up for the food. We had lamb potato curry, korma mixed veg (non dairy) Sri Lankan fried rice, garlic Naan. We were so full and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend this little gem. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Very happy customers

Super cute family owned place. I don't think they normally have people dine in but we still had a great time and the service was great. Not pictured but the biryani was a highlight. Other than the saag paneer being a bit bland it was all awesome.

Our family of 9 arrived from San Francisco and enjoyed a delicious meal from Tandoori Curry House. Veggie Samosas, Butter Chicken, Tandori Chicken, Saag Paneer & Naan. Butter Chicken was a hit. Large rice serves 3 adults or 4 kids.

Just bought a menu for 4 people , worst Indian food I had! Butter Chicken tasted like can tomato and tomato paste! Chicken Vindaloo hot but no Flavour at all! Lamb curry no flavour either! So disappointed after reading all their reviews. Sharwood ‘s Indian sauce tastes better, sorry. Will not go back again! I will go instead to the Indian one in Lilydale! Sorry I tried your food but not a fan!

Never had a bad meal here. So much effort is put into each dishes flavour. The taste is always like an explosion for your taste buds and the meat in the takeout isn't skimped on. I'd love an extra dumpling in the malai kofta but otherwise it's brilliant.

I had Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan yesterday from this amazing restaurant. I was amazed at how fast they prepared the food, very quick service these guys offer. Everything was very delicious and yummy. I am definitely going back again to this restaurant. I highly recommend that you try their food. You will be tempted to go back and order. Cheers

I have recently tried several of the dishes from this restaurant as take-aways.The first was so good Iwent back for more the next day and am so happy that I will definitely keep going back as long as the food stays as good as it is now! So nice to taste authentic flavours and textures. The cooking is swift and fresh. Hope this place stays put!

We have lived in Mt Evelyn for over 40 years and always felt the area needed a good Indian restaurant. Dropped in here Friday night and got a fish and a vegetable curry plus rice and nan. Wow the curries we’re awesome I seriously can’t remember the last time We have had better. Thanks chef for a great curry see you again soon.

Great to finally have an Indian restaurant in mtev! Nice quick service! Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan were delicious... Vindaloo was nice and hot, seemed a bit too peppery at first but was quite nice once i pushed through the first hit haha.(and loved the potato in it) Thanks guys :)

Went there with my granddaughter. Very cold dining in. Meal was not something to rave about. Staff were very friend though. Would I recommend definitely not. Would I go back NO. Shame as it’s close

Perfect, amazing food. Real curry made by an expert. No toilet or liquor and basic eating facilities, but five star food, in fact ten star! The chef will make dishes on request too. And it's fast.

We got takeaway butter chicken and lamb korma tonight for the first time and it was delicious!!! We will definitely be going back and trying lots more!!!! Great friendly staff too. Well done guys.

Food is very tasty......the owner is very obliging and friendly, he brings out dishes that he thinks we will enjoy....not from the menu, always delicious.

We got takeaway. The dinner for 2 - which was more like dinner for 4. It was good. We will be back to try other dishes. Great flavour and nice staff.
