My therapist was great and I really enjoyed the package I ordered. She asked the right questions and made me feel comfortable. HOWEVER, everything else about the experience was unpleasant. FIRST RED FLAG: They whatsapp me 30 minutes before my appointment to ask me to come later because the room wasn't ready, even though I had made the booking 2 days prior. SECOND RED FLAG: They make you pay before your treatment. THIRD RED FLAG: Absolutely ZERO customer service. Once you pay, you will receive no service, for example, nobody offered me a refreshment (which is standard at any spa or high-end salon), nobody asked for my feedback at the end of my treatment or even said goodbye when I left. PS: I paid Rp1,080,000 for a 3 and half hour treatment. FOUTH RED FLAG: They don't bother to read the forms they have you fill. I mentioned on the form to be gentle around my feet due to an injury. This wasn't read by anyone. FIFTH RED FLAG: There is a COVID Form for you and your therapist to record your details, including temperature. My therapist's information was blank and I, the client, had to insist that they bring the therapist to me and check her temperature and record it on the form. A spa is not just about the treatment but the entire experience but Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa has incredibly poor management and zero idea about customer service. I will NEVER go back!

2 Maret 2019.Jl. Wahid Hasyim. VIP room (villa. couple) 2jam treatment pada pukul 18.00 1. Tempat mulai berbau, sudah harus renov. bagian plafon sudah ada bekas bocor. teraphis sangat tidak memuaskan karena sangat kencang kalau bicara dan pemijatan nya asal saja, sudah diberi tau kekuatan pemijatan tapi lama kelamaan pun terlalu keras sampai saya tidak bisa menyelak untuk pelan-pelan. bahu kiri saya sampai sekarang masi sakit (4Maret2019) yg bagus hanya proses scrub dan masker saja. 2. Pada sesi perendaman dengan jacuzzi, mereka menggunakan sabun cuci piring s*light. ini saya ketahui ketika mau cuci tangan. Untungnya kami sangat cepat melakukan perendaman. sangat todak nyamam dan berbau apek. 3. Pada akhir sesi diberikan makanan dan buah-buahan. buah nya terasa aneh dan sedikit berbau 4. Harga sangat tidak sesuai dengan service yg diberikan. Padahal kita ketahui kalau taman sari royal spa memberikan sponsor juga untuk finalis dan putri indonesia. 5. Tolong owner dari taman sari royal spa ini memberikan SOP atau pelatihan yg lebih lagi. 6. Sangat mengecewakan. Awalnya mau mencoba karena review nya bagus, sangat disayangkan ini masih jauh lebih bagus dan nyaman dengan merk tetangga Mar*ha T*laar .

Kebetulan lagi cari alternatif salon spa selain MTSDS dan muncul rekomendasi ini. Waktu datang langsung dapat tempat dan dikasih welcome drink minuman jahe gitu. Utk tempatnya Indonesia banget, banyak ornamen Jawa. Tadi cobain treatment express scrub aja (45mins, 345K, termasuk celana dalam jadi gausah bawa dari rumah). Menurutku sih b aja, bener2 cuma scrub dan abis itu mandi di shower berdiri (kalau di MTSDS mandi di bathup). Terus gak ada wewangian yang menenangkan atau bau-bau aroma kayak d MTSDS selama proses treatment. Oh ya, untuk produk-produknya yang dipakai punya Mustika Ratu. Kayaknya tadi scrub juga pake lulur Mustika Ratu. Jadi kalau dihitung dengan scrub Mustika Ratu aja gaada embel2 yg lainnya, sepertinya kurang worth it. Karena scrub nya juga ga yang gimana2 yg bener2 berasa menghilangkan semua dosa. Beda di MTSDS, di sana kayaknya ada produk tambahan selain produk MT yg dijual di pasaran utk mass market deh. Soooo... overall dibandingkan di Taman Sari, sepertinya untuk aku pribadi masih mending di MTSDS sih baik dari segi tempat, ruangan, bau2 aromaterapi dan things yang dipakai utk treatment. Tapi again, ini hanya selera ya

Be careful with the receptionist called Putri. She offered options for couple's room and separate rooms for my friends (foreigner couple) when I made the booking them but NO INFO at all that now they charge extra for couple's room. Once my friends arrived, she only told them about the extra charge and NOT allowing them to change to separate rooms, eventhou NO INFO was given upon reservation that they charge extra for couple's room. What a dishonest way to make money! Not sure if it's actually real extra charge or they just scammed my friends coz they only gave the credit card slip and no invoice to my friends (reminder to others: ALWAYS ask them to give you detailed invoice!). Regardless, they should allow them the options to convert to individual rooms if there was no info about extra charge for couple's room. Heritage Spa should have better standard of service than this kind of money scamming trick.

The massage was average and the place is now average. Worst is the customer service. I came in a taxi and the driver did not have change. I asked for change and did say I was a customer, however, they said they had no change (when I was leaving, I saw them counting cash and while most pay by credit cards, they had more than enough to change my money 10X in cash). Back to the program, the review. The bathroom with the toilet has mold, the music kept on getting stuck and recording scratches, and when leaving, I was ushered out and not given tea. I asked for it and only then received it. The scrub was above average, the Javanese massage was average. The place was average and the price way way above average. Therefore for value, I will only give it a two star rating. Just avoid. It may have had once a great reputation, but obviously it is going downhill.

My expectation was higher when I made the booking as a treat for my mother. Booked royal balinese program 1 week in advance through whatsapp. Upon arrival, they just told me that they were out of murut and boreh, they never bothered to inform me although they have my contact details. Instead they sold me the ancient Javanese healing (higher price of course) and the older lady made it sound like she’s giving me extra discount meanwhile the website mentioned the discount already. Also she was saying that they won’t charge me for the couple room as a compensation ( which i never demand a couple’s room). In the treatment, it mentioned feet washing, instead the therapist just told us to use the bathroom to wash our own feet. Conclusión: what i paid is not worthy. Better choose somewhere else, cheaper price with an average quality.

Salah satu spa terburuk yang pernah ada. Saya ngerti karena covid berdampak ke operasionalny, tapi tetap saja harus professional. Saya beli voucher fave dari sebelum covid tapi tidak bisa reimburse, katanya hanya bisa book dan bayar cash karena operasional belum 100% (dibedain gitu customernya???) Beberapa x diperpanjang voucher nya dan beberapa x saya masih tanya kapan bisa. Tetap ditolak dan disuru urus pengembalian. Tapi nyatanya voucher saya malah jadi hangus dan tidak ada solusinya. Malah balikin ke saya untuk urus ke fave, tidak ada urusannya sama mereka. Klo ga mau report ga usah sok kerjasama sama fave tuk promosi deh. Dan ga usah nyalahin peraturan pemerintah, banyak spa yang buka dan masih terima voucher fave.

Ambil paket lulur pijat dan mandi seharga 750K. Kecewa karena lulurannya ngasal dan tidak pakai bahan lulur bubuk kuning juga tidak dimasker. Ternyata hanya body scrub polishing pakai gel. Pantas pengerjaannya cepat cuma 1 jam. Selebihnya mandi dgn air diberi bubuk susu yg tidak signifikan susunya.Tidak diberi minuman jahe setelahnya cuma teh pekat yg sangat tdk enak rasanya seperti basi. Sangat sangat kecewa bayar dg harga tinggi segitu tapi service tdk memuaskan. Putri saya yg menunggu sy 2 jam di lobbypun tdk diberi minuman, segelas air dingin pun tidak. ditawarkan. Menyesal kesana...tdk sesuai ekspektasi, cuma mahalnya saja, saya tidak mau kesana lagi.

Really bad experience. Paid for 2 hours massage but only got an hour and half mins. Price is way higher than what you got. Went there before the appointment, and the front desk ask to pay the bill before our 2 hours massage and we did. Even we made appointment 4 hours ahead, we still waited for 20mins in the lobby so they can prepare the room. The room is clean but really old. The bed is really old fashion kind. The only good thing is the milk bath is really hot and silky, but why would I want to come here to get a bath. Waste of time to come here.

Hanya membuang waktu dan membuang uang percuma

I come here for many years but lately their service quality is slowly degrading. Sime of the therapist doesn't know what they're doing. To be honest the place is dying. With high price like that, they should have renovated their old facilities, the broken roof and bathtub are shameful. Also they used to prepare fresh fruit and good orange juice after the massage, now they put unhealthy mayonnaise and low quality of cheese on top of the fruits and put sugar in the juice. What a waste.

It was a great experience for me. The staff was nice and polite, the covid protocol was quite strict too. For the massage service itself, I had a better one for about 1/3 the price, but they absolutely win in the facility and the product used. My skin feels so soft,clean, and hydrated after. In conclusion, I might come back again for the feeling of being luxuriously pampered, but if I just need a good massage, I'll choose another place cheaper.

Most of the therapist working here are senior. So basically they really give you good massage. My favorite are Javanese massage and hair creambath. Their hair creambath service come with half-body and head massage which really relax your body and mind. If you become their member, you can get access to their swimming pool inside and get 30% disc for every treatment in 1 year. Recommended!

Was sent here by s leading 5* Hotel because their in house Spa was closed sue to Covid. Understand businesses are suffering but they did a hard upsell that disappointed - massage. The manicure caused me ingrown fingernails a week later as not cut correctly. The place was filthy - especially the restroom. It’s old and needs total renovation. Can’t recommend in the current state.

We were unsure, based on some of the other reviews. Highly pleased. Very attentive from start to finish. We customized what we got to our precise liking. The quarters are elegant and luxurious, the masseuses highly competent, the treatments innovative and refreshing. We had to pay extra for a couples room, and overall it is not at all cheap. But worth it. Will be back.

I don't think it's worth for 696.000 IDR for only an hour massage and 30 minutes scrub. Too much, It's just too much. It feels like I'm being robed, and don't forget I'm a prospective regularly customer but they seem not treated you well just because my casual look. This place I wont go back and wont recomend to anyone that I know

I've been to many of their locations and while I find their prices to be inflated; I've generally had an average massage. This most recent visit was horrible and the masseuse seemed clueless as to how to give a massage. The next day I was covered in bruises. Very disappointed. Wish I could find a place like Nuat Thai in Jakarta.

Best massage I think I’ve ever had… of course it was also the longest so maybe that’s why! I had a Jakarta healing massage which consisted of multiple scrubs etc and an hour massage that I added another half hour plus face/head massage too - total was 2.5 hours. As with most Asian massages, there’s no space for modesty
