Based on today's visit - Jan 22, 2021 My rating went from a 2 star to a 1 star. The 2 star was given a few years ago. I came into this brank to deposit a cheqye. Normally I would just use the ATM but it was a USD cheque so I had to see someone. The teller was very nice and polite. What continues to strike is how rude the MCS is. After I deposit my cheque, I asked the teller regarding to TFSA and USD Dollar in TFSA. She wasn't completely sure so she asked the MCS. I was then informed by the teller that I need to move the CAD $ TFSA into a USD $ TFSA. Which was fine - but I told the teller that I was informed by another TD Advisor that I could move my USD $ into a money market fund and then have it transferred into the USD TFSA so I would not be hit with a currency exchange. I asked her if she knew anything about that and she did not, and I asked her to ask the CMS if she knew. She hesitated but asked anyway. The MCS had a desk at the back and the teller walked over and asked her. As the MCS was responding, I could hear every single word of her response, and that is through 2 layers of plexiglass! She sounded annoyed by the question (again), she was loud, and she was absoultely RUDE with her response. She was on the verge of yelling and I felt like she deliberately talking so loud so I can hear how annoyed she is by the question that she has responded for the second time. When the teller came back, I immeidately told her "you don't have to tell me, I heard the whole thing. Your manger sounds mad. Thanks for your help." and I left. As I was walking out I suddenly remembered why I stopped coming to this branch - if you cannot provide customer service, then you really shouldn't be a Manager of Customer Service. No one will want to ask you any questions if thats way you are going to talk to your staff/customers. If the MCS actually cared, she would walk up, speak to me and explain it to me how it works. Instead she decides to yell through 2 plexiglass to make sure I heard her ansswer. Or at least thats how she made me feel. I have been a TD customer for over 25 years and this branch continues to be the worst TD I have ever experienced. Thankfully, all the other TD that I had visited are generally pretty good. The main one on 7th Ave is excellent. This branch is just a sour one. I would highly suggest you avoid this branch walk a few more minutes to the 5th ave or the 7th ave one. AND FYI - there is away to move your USD $ into a USD $ TFSA without currency exchange. TD NEEDS TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF AND MANAGER! It's not cool when the customer knows more than the staff. ********************************** Revew written sometime in 2017-2018 I once encountered a very rude customer service lady here, she wasn't a teller but in a higher position. She gave me a lecture on how to manage accounts in front of her colleges and other patrons, in a very rude and condensing way. Everyone around me knew what was going on and it was not at all "confidential" as they should be. I gave 2 stars because all the other tellers I have encountered here are quite nice. Also - the tellers here TELLS me to give 5 STARS if TD ever calls me for a customer service experience survey. Not once, not twice but this happened many times. Here's a tip - DON'T DO THAT because your definitely not getting a 5 star for asking me to give a 5 star experience.

I had an important matter to attend to, regarding my mortgage, and decided to visit this TD branch for the first time. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I especially wanted to give thanks to Lilian, the senior financial advisor. She was able to squeeze me in for for an appointment with her, even though I arrived last minute and she had a very busy schedule. I only waited a few minutes and she was very kind, calm and polite. As for the appointment itself, she was extremely quick and spoke to the point about what my options were and gave me a great interest rate on my mortgage. I will definitely be returning here in the future, as the level of expertise and professionalism exceeded my expectations. Thank you again!

Worst experience at a bank I have ever had. Not only will they refuse to release my emergency CERB check funds to me, the manager was completely demeaning and rude during a pressuring/stressful times of COVID-19. They did not adhere to “we stand together, during these troubling times.” I’ll be going to a new bank now, this one experience ruined them all. I understand that everyone is going through their own trying times right now; but that does not negate the manner of which I was treated -by a manager no less.

I went to open the account and Sylvia helped me, explained me very nicely. The account was opened in minutes and all the time she was having a good smile. The next day i wanted help to deposit money and the guy at reception politely offered me help. I entered wrong pin but they(all prople at bank) helped me set my new pin. The lady at counter(so sorry didnt ask name) was extremely helpful and they all are just awesome people. Silvia thank you sooo much for your help.

Been with TD since Dec 2018, checks Clear at MARDALOOP, they closed. I was told to go from branch to branch, till someone TRUST me... WOW< my checks are all the same, from LARGE Companies with millions of dollars, I also have a TD auto loan for $50 000, and I have proven that my checks will always clear. Here I am, told to deposit on the phone and have funds held., having 2 helpers in my business, and 2 parents that are disabled, thanks TD, On to the next review!!!

This is the closest branch to work for me I've been to them for lots of my banking needs. Issues I've had with fee's to setting up an RESP for my son. The staff is always friendly and I feel like my business is really appreciated. Yes it is a branch in China town so they do help cater to Chinese customers but that doesn't mean that they don't help all other TD customers as well. I am only giving 4/5 stars because I really miss the change counting machine.

I am extremely dissatisfied of this Branch. Being told to use the TD App instead of doing transactions there is absurd. The processes this location have in place is inconsistent. The quality of service you get depends on the representative handling your concern. Unfortunately my experience tonight was horrible. I will no longer go here for any of my banking needs. If I’m told to use the App instead, then this Branch is useless and obsolete.

Always rude. Looks they might only be friendly towards Chinese. Do not care about others. No matter you have been TD customer for a decade they will offer you to cancel your account over small issues that can be resolved otherwise. The manager was even more short tempered. They talk to each other in Chinese and try to be consistent with behaviour towards customers(always rude).

Tried to use this branch several times and the customer service is without a doubt the worst in Calgary. Branch manager treated me as if she could care less about my business. Would strongly recommend avoiding this branch at all costs as you will only end up frustrated and travelling to a better branch.

Horrible service. Went to pick up something and the staff kept talking among themselves but didn't bother to tell me that they couldn't find it. If I didn't say I was going to leave since they couldn't find it, who knows how long I would have to stand there.

Visited this branch to unlock my account. Addy and Shaoping helped me, Even though it took almost an hour to unlock it, they kindly helped me until the end. I appreciate it! I highly recommend visiting this branch to everyone!

It was great. Looked crowded but service was really fast. I usually had bad experiences with TD in Montreal but this branch is good. Staff is really friendly, I would absolutely recommend this branch!

Lack of professionalism with a lackadaisical attitude. The branch manager is terrible with poor customer service skills. You're better off going to the 340 5 Ave SW location for a better experience.

I wanted to deposit some US change. The teller sent me away to count it all by hand and put it in wrappers. When I finished, they said they don't accept US change. Thanks...

Like TD as a bank.....despise this branch mostly because of head teller....she made a mistake and I ended up paying...will never use this branch again.

They don't know their TD banking rules and will lie to your face to get you to sign papers. Do NOT trust them. Especially Agnes Cheung and Henry Kwok.
