I found someone’s TD credit card and their cellphone and went to TD to see if there could be a way to reach out to them, or do anything. The blonde lady that talked to me had such an awful condescending attitude. She told me none of it was her business, that she would just throw away the card and, and then said something like she would “absolutely not give [me] any piece of information”. I told her I would just take the card and try to find the person, she didn’t even care. The fact that she couldn’t help can be understood, I know they have guidelines to respect, but christ, she was so passive aggressive, almost mocking me. There are ways to communicate. Could’ve literally been as simple as “I’m sorry, we are unfortunately not allowed to give any information", or "Unfortunately I can only to this”, or show some kindness, especially to a client. If you’re not able to do that then you shouldn’t be working on customer service. I was respectful at all times, I don’t know what made her feel entitled to have that rude attitude, there are no excuses. She didn’t even greet me, no courtesy at all. I’ve always had positive experiences with TD, but this is such an awful, care-less, indifferent image from them.

Terrible experience at this branch with customer service representative. Asked for a routine transfer to be performed, one which I've done countless times in the past. CR tried to tell me it wasn't possible, then when I explained how to do it she walked off while I was in mid-sentence to get a manager to explain to me it wasn't possible. Manager showed her how to do it instead. At realizing her mistake and horrible attitude, I was not said sorry to but received a surly silence in response while she processed the transfer at top speed. She called the next customer over before I was done, and also did not ask if there was anything else. Seriously considering taking all of my TD business elsewhere.

Horrible Service. The poor treatment I received at this location has ruined a longterm relationship with TD. I went in to be pre-approved for a mortgage and they took 2 weeks to basically tell me they are unwilling to work with me at all. I have a near perfect credit score 0 debt and a large down payment. Their online calculator said I was shopping well within my price range however they would not give me a clear answer as far as what I would be approved for until the very end. Shakil Kassam was who was "helping me" made the experience extra painful as he does not seem to understand finances whatsoever. I will be closing my TD account for good.

I met with Ms Mansi . I found her knowledgeable , professional. I’m pleased with my meeting and actions she suggested But not the same with a young female employee who met me in the waiting room as I was early for my appointment I pointed out to her in English that on the wall frame that depicts TD bank and its surrounding there was a spelling mistake of chateau Laurier ! She exclaimed that it was art and a beautiful piece and who cares? The opening is March 30th , month of francophonie I hope it will be corrected . Ottawa as the capital is promoting French language . I was hurt by her attitude, demeaning comments. Merci

This has been the worse experience to deal with this bank, I don't think they even know what they're doing. The hours of operation are ridiculous. I've had the worst service dealing with these people. I left numerous messages for the manager and he never called me back. The lady that answered the phone had no compassion or respect, she told me the manager's busy because they're moving locations. I said sounds like a you and manager problem but not my problem..everyone is busy it's called life. I highly don't recommend TD. There disorganized, unprofessional and disrespectful. They're lucky they even got 1 star!

I wanted to cash a very small cheque that I got from a company that is known worldwide. Rather than cashing the cheque they deposited into my account. Very simple request and they couldn't even manage that. Earlier in the day I spent approximately 35 minutes on the phone with their visa centre to try and clear up why I was charged 18 cents interest for a cash advance that I never took. Now the branch is moving from Rideau St. into the Rideau Centre and of course there you have to pay for parking

Walked into the bank today and there were 4 staff members. Had to deposit a check for my business but the girl told me they are closed due to covid, “sorry we must have forgot to lock the door” - I think this is a little outrageous. If a grocery store clerk can work behind regular glass then I think you sleazy bankers can work behind bullet proof glass. Stop the money grab and open or lower my radical bank fees to reflect your inability to do your job.

I visited today 8 October 2019 and had a very bad experience in my 20 years of banking life. Asking irrelevant questions and took 16 minutes for a single transaction. They need to be trained. Also the support staff looks like her supervisor is also the same. Mr. Bharat Masrani, CEO has to be notified about the branch staff activities/improvement etc. TD HO - send someone especially in the evening to watch your staff activities at the branch.

I popped into this branch on 12 Dec 2023 and was assisted by teller Georgio. Monsef. He went out of his way to assist me with a complex request with my account and was able to send me the documents requested within hours. I am so very grateful and appreciate that there are still folks out there who would go above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Georgio. Monsef and happy holidays :)

Tried to open a bank account. I had uncommon id(but it was on the list) so there was a lot of suspicious whispering between the teller (who was friendly but had no idea what she was doing) and another teller who had only slightly more of a clue. I was made very uncomfortable and decided this was a sign I should just go to another bank.. they seemed happy to take my money elsewhere.

Surprised this place has a ton of bad reviews! I went in had someone named Cathy, she was SO nice and helpful and even when i couldn’t understand a question, she clarified it to me and was super understanding. she helped me with what i needed help with and even did an additional process to secure my bank account even more ! highly recommend :)

As far as TD banks go, this is the worst branch I've been to. If you want smiles, friendly service and short wait times, don't come here. The front desk is usually grossly understaffed and lines of 10 people or more are common. I'm happy we can now deposit cheques in the ATMs as this was the only reason I used to visit the teller.

Not the same since Thomas left. Staff are rude & inadequate. I waited a long time on the handicap chair and was ignored. When I finally asked for help a teller told me to get in line which was very difficult & took twice as long. I complained later to management with no reply.

AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS! I got victim of a fraud and when I got my debit they messed up my credit card info (idk how!?!) I went back to this branch trice and still have to go back once again to fix things. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Their ATM is only available at certain hours. I've also wanted to book an appointment recently and they hung up on me 3 times. Seeing the other reviews, I can only expect a generic answer and no change in the customer service.

People here are nice, but regardless if you come at 10am, 3pm or anywhere in between, you always have to wait 20minutes in line because they have only one or two bank reps. It's making me reconsider my bank.
