I'll never return to this bank. I grew up with this bank. I had no issues. Until around 2018-2019. First I found out they accepted an over draft offer that I never agreed to. Found out after having a meeting with one of there reps told me that they took about $600 from me in charges, only willing to offer back $300. In 2019, i decided to change banks completely. Again sat down with a rep pulled out my gic, closed my credit card. My credit card had $20, so I gave the guy $20 from the cash from my GIC to fully pay my credit card and close it. At that point I thought I had nothing left with them. Clearly not, months later I saw My credit score drop saying I didnt pay the $20 from my card. I called and said I definitely did pay this but whatever its $20 I'll pay this again, but i dont want it to affect my score as its unfair i paid it off. They agreed. I was told to go in person and to get a receipt for reference. So i did.. I had to call them 3 Additonal time after cause it was still showing as up-paid. They never removed it off my credit history. 4 years later and its still affecting my score. So disappointed in the bank and the dishonesty.
I've been going to this branch for a while as it's close to my work. When I purchased my first home I decided to use this branch to get my mortgage. Wrong decision. It was a rigmarole the entire time and this branch made it more complicated than need be. It should be mentioned that the two people I worked with on my mortgage no longer work at this branch. Now that they hold my mortgage, any time I have mortgage related banking to do (I.E property taxes), they look at me like I have 3 heads when I bring in paper work to be passed off to the mortgage centre. At this point I've had to do this a few times and the routine is always the same, teller is confused beyond belief, ask for manager, rinse and repeat. When I needed cheques, they misspelled my address horribly EVEN THOUGH THEY HOLD THE MORGAGE ON THE PROPERTY. Go to a different branch, this one's a joke.
How come zero is not an option? The reviews speak volumes. The teller's are simply unreliable. An, apoligy in the context of money doesn't float. Never will. Easyline is even worse. They actually drop calls over and over. Seven at last count!. Seven? Huh? The Td Bank literally ruined my personal plans in every conceivable way. Then made it worse. $%#@$%! Then lied lied lied. They're customer service is like dealing with children. Kindergarten level children. Sweet, until they're operating a bank. Easyline is even worse. They actually drop calls over and over. Seven at last count!. Seven? Huh? Take a hike. Bye! The worst bank, worst branch. Just the worst. You can't make this stuff up. At times they're behavior and advice is often completely ubsurd. Save the trouble. Run away now. Awe. I just ate my sick. Twice. Seriously. That BAD!
Needs better customer service training. Had a bad staff working, service also very bad and slow it is one of the worst td bank locations I have visited in ten years and I used to live by Toronto. Managerial staff is unprofessional and will leave you in the dark about questions to your own account. Was asked to present 3 different, forms of ID while signed into the app, and still didn't get my new card. Went to the one down the road I got my card with only 2 pieces of I'd proof.. I would like to express my appreciation to Brian Chakombera at TD. Constantly top notch experience. Very courteous, very attentive to client’s needs. Always a pleasure to deal with. This is something TD management should regard and value, as many staff members at other TD locations lack simple common sense and any understanding of what customer service is. If i could give you 10 stars out of five - I would. Thank you again for the pleasant experience you have been providing me.
I don't think they know what they are doing. And nobody will stop them. Once you deposit your money, good luck seeing it or being able to use it when you want it. So many systems, delays, loopholes and forms you have to fill out. Do the staff that sign you up for services not know what they are doing, or is it that they purposely want to keep you ignorant because then you will blindly sign up for things you don't want nor need so they can get more commission?
We went to apply for credit card and our advisor Alex petchat helped us doing our application easily and answered our all questions patiently. Moreover he gave us his business card to call if we do have any queries. Alex is a very knowledgeable person and I highly recomend his service. Thank you very much Alex we apreciate your service.
One of the best branches in Ottawa. I had appointment next day with Bank representative Megan Young. OMG she delivered my request in professional way, I could open 3 accounts within very short time. She was very helpful and friendly and keen to give the important information right away. This will be my favorite branch defenitely.
The Bank manager Brian Chakombera was very friendly in helping my mother obtain a Guaranteed Signature for a financial document. There was no charge. Special mention to Evan a bank associate who guided me on the telephone to set up the meeting within a half hour to get the process started. Thanks for providing great service!
Wish I could give a zero, don’t go here for your mortgage, they have no clue what they are doing. TD is screwing us over and making life difficult, they don’t care about their customers anymore. Been with them for 25 years and the second my mortgage is done I will be taking my business elsewhere.
This particular branch has held our mortage for many years , they have decided upon renewal that they do not need to be competitive on rates. This despite providing BMOs offer. Amazing how a bank can become so arrogant with their customers after so many years. Disappointed.
Horrible customer service. Went in to update my account and was told they weren't able to do so and that I had to call their customer service. Even the customer service on the phone told me it was ridiculous that they would say such thing.
It was closed on june 19th , a Saturday. Why .... enough is enough with the covid restrictions.. re open the banks . Banks are essential at all times. Td is known for better hours. Unless that's just not the case anymore.
Emmanuel Ajibade is a terrible customer service rep. Been banking with TD for years depositing money from my US account never put on hold until now. Incredibly rude and bad for business.
The tellers are very incompetent here. Forced me to put in my card to make change. No other bank has this problem. I hope their head office reviews the team here.
Staffs are very helpful. They help to setup password and security phone number. I feel comfortable to dealing with staff.
TD bank calls you then it's literally impossible to get them back on the phone. Been on hold for over an hour.
In my experience, the staff, including management, have been very knowledgable, courteous and helpful.
