I was a going to be a potential customer. Not after my experience today.If you want to be forgotten about then this is the branch for you. I went to open an account. You had to scan your phone number and the guard will tell what position you are in a que. Told me to wait in the car that I was number 2. After 45 minutes kept seeing various people going in , people that came after me. After 1 hour I went to the door and I ask the guard how much longer , you close at 4pm. He said weren't you here hours ago? I forgot about you. Then disappeared came back only to tell me that I could wait inside , I would be next after the reps were done with their customers. The que went down. He just completely forgot about us even though I was sitting in the car right in front of the bank. He said sorry and that he forgot. Well I wasn't going to wait any longer than over the hour I was already there so I left. Called the manager and they said they could make an appointment time for me however that when I arrive I will be placed in the que. The que that malfunctioned and didn't work and the guard will be there who didn't remember me. No thanks. If I could give zero stars I would. If you want customer service go elsewhere.
Got locked out of my online account. Called td bank so that I could regain access again. NOPE, I need to go into a branch. Problem is I'm stationed in Texas where they have no branch locations. They pretty much tell me they can't do anything. You'd think they would be a little sympathetic considering I'm military. I just can't get up and go out of state just to sign a piece of paper. Mind you I gave them all my info They needed,But still couldn't get access. They take forever just to answer a phone. Won't be banking with them any more. Definitely a horrible/STUPID bank. Switching back to usaa.
I wish I can give 0 stars. They don not pick up the phones. They have 0 information about what they are doing. Whatever the reason you call them they want you to call customer service like we do not know that option already. You call customer service and the customer service representative call them back to receive information, they inform the representative but not you. So the representative informs me I call them back and they act like nobody called them. It is just waste of time to be their customer, will not be one of them anymore.
Im new to TD bank but from what I've seen and been through so far i am very happy i switched from amalgamated. Ive been with amalgamated for 12 years. They got really poor in paying bills and charging for returnwd checks. I had overdraft protection and they roved without my asking. Wven though they are slow. I pay a bill friday it doesnt come out my account until Wednesday the next week. They are terrible. The manager Michael at Astoria branch is the best. He always helped me whenever possible.
As many reviewers have stated the customer service at this branch is poor. I’ve been banking at this branch for over 6 years and the quality of service and the professional banking atmosphere have steadily gone down hill. It literally felt like a college sorority when the Indian woman who seems to be in charge yells and tells her personal story across the branch to the tellers when there are customers banking. It’s time for me to close my accounts here and move to a larger bank.
Marlene is the worst rep I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She was rude and extremely unhelpful. TD also has really bad interface of doing business. Chase is a thousand times better and this final straw is forcing me to go to Chase instead. There just is no point giving this bank any money and I'm going to move my IRAs too. I'm just so sick and tired of TD Bank and Marlene was the final straw that did it for me.
Customers service and communication is definitely not their strongest skill here. I was trying to get someone’s attention and they were all ignoring me and talking amongst themselves, looking at me and another customer and then would look away. If you see someone that looks like they need help, maybe ask how you can help them? You shouldn’t have kids running a bank and treating customers that way.
I’ve never had a problem coming to this location. I’ve gotten a new card same day as they were lost twice already. They have a parking lot at this location so I never get stuck looking for parking in this busy area. Also if I’m not mistaken sometime ago I even got something notarized last minute for a same day passport. I didn’t think it would be so easy but it was. No complaints whatsoever.
Since 2019 Always go here, never had a problem. Clean great location. Chad was very helpful and super positive. He gave me different alternative solutions to my request and went with the most effective one. In a matter of minutes he did what other locations wanted me to wait 5-10 business days. And a receptionist lady was fast and nice too. Thank you for your help today guys.
No one know what they are doing here except deposit money and withdrawing money the personal in the bank didn’t know how to print me IRA form from the system and other person on the corner of his little office was on his chair with 1 leg up never met bankers that are so out of knowledge of what to do
Thank you all staffs, they're saved me in this morning. After I used ATM and leave. A man was waiting for me at outside of the bank. I went back in side and told staffs about him. They were keep the eye on him and let me sat on chair and wait for him to leave. Thank for you guys help!!
It’s awful!!!! First I was waiting 20 minuets for somebody helped me with my bank box and after I sids another 20 minuets for somebody came explaining how to close door. I came outside for call somebody but everybody pretending like I’m not there!!!! Woooooow , guys !!!!
I only called several times to inquire about a notary and each time I was given a different time that he would be there. When I finally did speak to someone he insists the notary was there all day yesterday when he was not as I called several times yesterday. SMH.
I love this place. The representative name Alex Echevarria was fantastic! If you ever need anything this is the guy you go to! Super accommodating and super polite. I am never happy with TD bank however this guy made my experience different!
Worst branch ever! Please do not go there they are very unprofessional. They charged me from my savings account for no reason and when I asked for a refund they said it will take 2 weeks but I will get my money back. Mr. Chad Walker was
Staff are very courteous but clearly overwhelmed by the amount of transactions/people on a peak at 4 pm. I needed to withdraw cash to pay some daily laborers but waited longer than 22 min in line with only 3 booths working
The banker at this branch is unprofessional and impatient when dealing with customers. Dude was eating grapes and talking to me at the same time. Go to another branch or another bank
wordt bank ever bad customer services they lost my money on line paintment and icant get it back they dont even know where it is but they took it from my account dont Bank here
Poor customer service. They will have you schedule an appointment and once you’re there they will send you home telling you to come back. Ridiculous!
Blatantly lied to by multiple employees. Everyone looks to pass you off as quickly as possible. Sole reason I have closed my TD account.
This is my fave bank BY FAR that I have ever banked with. Super friendly and helpful staff PLUS THEY ARE OPEN PAST 6 PM FOR REAL HUMANS.
Particularly this branch employees are too lazy to work.Most of them are Spanish and they get annoyed if any customer walks in.
