"Worst bank ever"
"Waited over 10 min at the drive through while teller was laughing and talking with another customer"
"Terrible customer service at this branch"
"Not a great branch, which is unfortunate because it's so close to where I live! Although the employees are always extremely friendly and courteous, the customer service is always quite slow and a lot of the representatives are not as competent as they should be"
"I cannot fathom how this location continues to serve patrons the way that they do"
Worst bank ever. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have visited this location numerous times in attempt to get a pre-qualification/pre-approval letter for a mortgage, and countless times I was given different information by different people. I was told they could help me - where I waited over an hour to be seen. I was asked to provide a bunch of figures and names that I did not have with me, and information that typically was not required to be provided by the applicant. When I asked Marshia, the woman assisting me, to provide me with exactly what information I needed to bring with me next time so my following visit would not be as pointless as this one was, she said she didn't know. She continued to say that she had been providing mortgage preapprovals for years - and yet she could not tell me exactly what information she needed from me? Hmm sketchy. Two visits following this one, I decided to give up and go to a more competent bank, Wells Fargo, where I got my pre-approval 30 minutes into my first visit. I am completely dissatisfied with TD bank, and suggest that others look for assistance elsewhere, because you'll just end up wasting your time like I did. Not only is the staff filled with uninformed individuals, the lines are always ridiculously long and slow. The only reason I still go here is because its conveniently located next to my house. However, I'll be switching permanently soon. I urge everyone to stay far from this branch - it'll make your blood boil.
Waited over 10 min at the drive through while teller was laughing and talking with another customer. Another 10 minutes goes by and the Teller proceeds to tell me I cannot withdraw the full amount because it was still pending but I can withdraw it from an ATM... already being lied to. So I asked the teller for a much smaller amount. I log into my app and Shows I have way more available then I asked for. Asked the teller to tell him how much I can withdraw. No reponse. Sends backs the carrier with my second request. And doesn’t say a word. No good night. No sorry I couldn’t help you. No explanation at all. Dead silence. Wasted 30 minutes of the day that was already ending. To be denied with no explanation. Very... Convenient. I don’t care if it’s closing. I worked in retail for 15 years. You don’t rush the customer or give less service because you want to go home. Meanwhile Called customer service. Customer service told me the full amount was available to withdraw. Drove 20 minutes barely making it before closing to the next branch. Parked, withdrew, and got back in my car in less then 10 minutes. Now there’s customer service and convenience.
Terrible customer service at this branch. I've given them so many chances over the years. Never changes. Bonus: the TD banking app is a decade behind all the other banking apps with antiquated "security and features". Good grief. Double bonus: I tried opening a safe deposit box a couple years ago (same management as now) and after 30 minutes of filling out forms and looking for/assuring me they had boxes available - they couldn't find the key. Ridiculous. Triple bonus - their ATM frequently only distributes $50's - not $20's. I started using them when they were a Commerce Bank - before they were acquired by TD and they had a change counting machine in the lobby. After they converted to TD they kept the machine though it was rarely in operating order. Now it's gone. Finally, as is typical of many banks - you frequently find yourself standing in line for long periods of time with 3 or 4 employees behind the counter not interacting with any customers.
Not a great branch, which is unfortunate because it's so close to where I live! Although the employees are always extremely friendly and courteous, the customer service is always quite slow and a lot of the representatives are not as competent as they should be. It's happened to me many times that a customer service representative at this branch will made some sort of error during a routine visit, usually causing me to have to jump through a ton of bureaucratic hoops to sort out. For example, I signed up for a TD credit card through this branch, and the rep took down my address wrong, causing my credit card and bills to get sent to the wrong address TWICE before they fixed the mistake. They've also given me wrong answers to simple questions multiple times. At this point I've learned not to go to this branch, except for basic ATM and checking services!
I cannot fathom how this location continues to serve patrons the way that they do. Initially I was impressed by the hours and small lines on a Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the moment I walked in, I could not overlook the dirty, fingerprint laden cabinets and incompetent counter clerks. I refuse to go into detail on the exact situation I was put in by two of the employees here but you better believe when I contacted their corporate customer service, they were just as shocked as I was at the immature and completely wrong behaviour I encountered. I seldom leave poor reviews, this experience warranted the occasion. I can not blame TD bank as a whole for the one location as my previous experience with a midtown location was pleasant from beginning to end. Avoid this local if you can.
This store employee disrespected their customers, today I went to this bank to ask questions about why they accepted my issue cheque before the date. They do not respond to me nicely. They tell me it's my fault, why I gave my cheque in advance to the people. They told me I should give my cheque that day on which date I write my cheque. they said it's my fault, I gave people an advance cheque. They talk with so badly. When I want to talk to the manager then she comes and she also blames me. she told me the same thing which is I wrote before. after that she told me to leave the bank.
Sorry I just don't have names right now. The two managers(?) there the (white) gentlemen and the (black) lady have been very hospitable with my concerns in the past. Today I saw the same lady and she helped me over a difficult situation that involved an old TD bank cashiers check that was no longer valid. She assured me that I can get my funds back by going to the Dept of Treasure of NewYork. She also helped me get some money out of my roth IRA savings in order to cover some bills. Blessings you two! Hope you don't transfer out soon
Was definitely profiled here a month ago when going in to pay my rent. The only reason I set up an account there was so I can do so more easily. But I guess someone who looks like me couldn't possibly be paying what I pay for rent. Shocking! Get over yourselves. Not every minority is running a scam. Told my land lady to set up Zelle so I wouldn't have to deal with that on this past June 1. But you all really need to re-educate your staff and maybe take a note from Starbucks. America's most convenient bank for who?
This TD bank branch is by far the worst bank in New York City. They lured me in to open a savings account, promising to pay a certain amount of interest and offered me a free checking account of I kept a certain amount in either account. I am shocked to see they have not kept their promise of %1 interest rate ( how sad that is for a bank), and they have been charging me $25 service fee for keeping my money at their bank. This is highway robbery by TD Bank. Shame on you TD Bank. Stay away from TD Bank.
There is a teller there named Jay. Everytime I go in there he gives me a hard time. He never listens to what the customer is talking about. Doesn't have the right answers and get cocky. I think they should send him to a coarse on how to answer and have respect for customers. It also happened to other customers. Terrible service he provides. Terrible ! There is one teller there who is very nice. Service could be better.
Favorite banking institution of the East Coast! TD treats the customer as a member, my favorite part. Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday - 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM one of my favorite things about the bank is the Lobby hours. Drive Up Hours Monday - Wednesday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Thursday - Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
I withdraw some amount from this location and than all the certain my account was locked up because someone trying to call bank on my behalf with my account info to get access of the account but couhgtn't provide all the information asked. I am suspicious of trusting them again ; because this was not the only time i have had issues after visiting this location for service.⛔
Most inconvenient bank ! Tried to change my address multiple times and each time spent over an hour at the desks. My address is never changed. Why can't I do this online or over the phone? How come I cannot get mortgage tax statements online or at the branch? Why can't you correct my address after spending an hour at the branch for this particular task. SO ANNOYING!!!
WORST SERVICE EVER! I created an account online during covid because I was starting part of job again. They held up my money because my ID expired and then had the nerve to want to close my account once I got my updated ID. I want all my money and this account close right now. I never got treated like this from any other bank.
Needed a medallion stamp for my uncles estate, they were professional, personable and helpful. TD bank is the leader in customer service, always. This is where you should do all your banking. The Park Slope 5th Ave Branch is equally helpful. It does mean something when a bank is there for you when you need them.
Very disgusting attitude from the manager named Debra heller Refused my deposit of $32,000 supposedly because it’s a big transaction and she’s doesn’t want to hold up her tellers I was the only one in the bank no traffic at all P.s I’m just the worker dropping off money for the company I work with
Worst banking experience I have ever seen. Everytime I go there, there is a problem I dont know if the tellers dont know what they are doing or what the story is. I go to different td banks and never had a problem like I have at this td branch. So i will never be going to that branch again.
Great experience here! Evan was great, and extremely helpful with helping me open a second business account, as well as a personal account. He suggested a plethora of additional services that I could use for my business that I wasn’t even aware of. Just what a banking experience should be
Shortened hours and only 1 window drive through is working during covid. Atm refused to accept the check and app crashes on Android, not a banking I signed up for years ago, not "America's the most convenient bank". Will be looking to switch the banker as soon as covid is over.
It's not an emotional review. Staff in this branch is very slow and incompetent. They don't know how to use cash counting machines, don't know how to count properly with hands as well as how to use computer. Simple operation took 40 minutes not counting the waiting.
i got news for you haters, you don't know how good you have it, no bank is perfect, TD is open on the weekends, the tellers are nice, they have that cool change counter, free lollypops, no hidden fees which is more than I can say for most banks... Five Stars!
This is where I opened my first bank account myself as a young man, back when it was commerce bank, then again when it changed to TD bank. I grew up in the neighborhood, and the workers here at this location have always been kind and helpful with me.
My first visit was a bit frustrating. The website had said they opened at 8am but when I arrived around 8:15am one day I ended up with a handful of people waiting for it to open at 8:30. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and service was good.
I've only ever used the ATM here, but I feel like it's almost always packed to the gills, even on the evenings, and I've been there during late hours with customer service reps. It's also pretty cool that it's all glass around, very open.
I dont feel the need to review many things, services, etc. But I read some of the comments from others and I feel the need to now. Awful customer service, they do profile, and the one guy who used to respectably help me, I don't see
It was a little wait because the manager was busy, but the quality of service was well worth the wait. Very kind, polite , and patient with me. Thank u td bank on Coney Island avenue circle. God bless yous all.
There was a man on help desk who was so mean . I was waiting more than half an hour, i was not told by security or anyone that I have to sign up first. When I went to his table he was not welcoming at all .
I've always been treated with courtesy here. Sometimes there's a bit of a line at the teller counter, and sometimes a bit of a wait to see a rep for the safe deposit box, but never more than about 10 min.
I don't know what people talking about? I have a good experience in this place , people are nice and cooperative specially Mr. Stephen is very cooperative. I can say thanks to all.
Very long wait time. They had one representative on a weekend afternoon with several people waiting to be seen. If you need to see someone, it's terrible. Otherwise standard bank.
Really best Service and people are really nice and kind and helpful specially the Mr. Abdul is best helping everybody with love and Respect .keep it up guys with love and respect.
I had the best experience at this branch, I was assisted by Marcus, Jaysson, and Jackie and they truly care about the customer experience. Thank you so much for all your help.
twice walking on the side walk I almost got a hit by a car leaving their drive through. they really need to set up a stop sign for the cars before they hit the side walk.
To me this is the best location to use been using this location since 2003 n never had any problems yet all workers are very nice friendly n remember you everytime
Awesome customer service Kenrick has been there for years, saw me pregnant and watched my daughter grow up. I love when staff can treat me like family!
Worst branch ever, understaffed they let the atm rob you, witbess it and do nothing to help even if youve been a customer with them for over a decade.
This place has horrible customer service and kept me waiting on line forever, the workers work at there own pace and never get anything done in time
I've always received good service here. Staff is polite & attentive. Facility has adjacent parking lot, drive thru window, ATM, & handicap access.
We had to wait 30 minutes outside in the hot sun for someone to help us with our transaction. Very disappointed with our experience. Hey
5 stars to the drive-thru teller. She was kind and helpful. Have to take off 2 stars because of the bank's inconsistent business hours.
There customer service is the worse ... I had to wait in line of the drive thru teller almost 1 hour .. no one is responsible there
Branch opens at 830 Not 8 like the website says. Also, they keep 2 penny arcades in the branch AND BOTH ARE "BROKEN FOR YEARS".
Everyone is very nice but the staff is very slow. Unfortunately there is no sense of urgency when it comes to taking customers
My name is Julia. Today I had absolutely worst experience with this bank.In my opinion - this bank is the WORST TD bank in NY.
Any positive review for this branch is a fake review. The don’t deserve even one star. Nasty and rude tellers and managers.
Love the TD bank! And this one is so close to Prospect Park I can go for a jog then pop in for a bit of banking!
Even after taking appointment i had to sit there for 1 hr not a single person was there to open a new account.
I love this bank because they have facility for costumers drive through and all so walk in the best place
Many thanks to the worker Natalia! I asked for help many times and she always helped! solved all issues!
Do not go to this branch, sub par level staff, if you need customer service, you will waste your time.
Pleasant customer service agents. Get all your banking questions answered and explained. Love TD bank
This TD branch is always cordial, and respectful, especially, to people with "this-abilities!"
Worst customer service. I saw someone be denied service today so I left as well.
Very good hours. Friendly staff and clean place. Comfortable chairs too.
Overall experience was great. Friendly atmosphere. Good service.
I always have a good experience with this branch. Very helpful
very nice place. Everybody is working very good and faster.
Clean convenient location.
Slowest service ever
