Maria at Sweet Avenue Cakery was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She is kind, professional, and has a serious talent when it comes to making incredibly delicious cakes and cupcakes! Maria let us sample her cakes before making our decision, and all her flavours were so good it was actually a little hard to decide! The day of our wedding, everything was delivered in a timely manner, looking beautifully decorated. I almost didn't get a chance to try the cupcakes we ordered for our guests, as there were only 4 left by the time I made it to the cake table! We will definitely be ordering from her again for our next family event. I highly, highly recommend Sweet Avenue Cakery for your wedding/event. The carrot cake, and chocolate hazelnut flavours are incredible!!

Ordered a couple of times, first time had a good experience. However last order did not go as well. The cake looked absolutely stunning with so much amazing detail. However, taste was lacking the same effect. Flavours ordered were strawberry vanilla and chocolate caramel. I had over 20 guests and this was the only desert I planned to serve and not a single person ate it after trying the first bite. After spending $450 I was really disappointed to throw out almost all of the cake from plates. Even more disappointing is when I sent an email to Maria giving her my honest feedback, sad to say I never even got a reply back. It’s unfortunate but I won’t be ordering from here in the future.

Maria has carefully taken consideration of all the details I wanted in my son's bee cake. From the hive on top, to the splash of blue on the wings to the honey combs pieces, and the bee opening the door. I am very pleased because quite often my wishes are disregarded or the specific details I hoped for are missed. The cake was absolutely so cute. It was what I wanted but more. My husband who is not a fan of sweets ate a great portion of the cake. The cake was smooth and buttery with just the perfect crunch. It was mouth watering and melts in your mouth. Best cake yet! Thank you Maria again!

Maria of Sweet Avenue Cakery was absolutely wonderful. The cake was beautiful, the sugar flowers were exquisite, and each of the tiers (different flavours) were delicious! We wanted a cake that tasted as good as it looked, and Maria made that happen. She was transparent about the cost, the timing, the delivery, etc., and made the whole process easy. Our wedding was beyond her usual delivery range, but there were no problems getting it to the venue. My only regret is that everyone loved the cake so much that we didn't have any leftovers!

We got soooo many compliments and not only was it beautiful it was sooooo delicious. IT's very hard to trust someone to make a cake for your special day but I am so happy I trusted you to recrate it. Maria did such a phenomenal job on our wedding cake! I have a big sweet tooth and it was important to me to have something both beautiful and delicious, and we were not disappointed. Our guests said that this was the best wedding cake they ever had, and thought the cake was a piece of art itself that matched well with our venue (the AGH). I would definitely recommend working with Maria to make your wedding cake dreams a reality!

I ordered two very large (one fed up to 20 and the other up to 40) birthday cakes from Maria. They were beautiful, delicious and she was an extreme pleasure to work with. Wonderfully talented and I'd highly recommend her for all occasions. Thank you so much Maria!

Had a wonderful lemon and raspberry cake, designed to look like a gift bag! Not only was it beautifully done, it tasted wonderful! Everyone who ate it was so impressed by the flavour! Just a wonderful job over all! Thank you so much!

Maria is absolutely amazing- not only are her cakes the most beautiful I've ever seen, but they are also DELICIOUS! We were beyond happy with the wedding cake she created for our February wedding and really enjoyed working with her.

Sweet Avenue Cakery did our wedding cake for us and it was amazing! It's the perfect amount of sweetness and you will find no better cake. The artistry of our cake was beautiful as well. I would 100% reccomend.
