Peter correctly diagnosed the problem. However I was quoted $500 and later charged $650 on account that it took him more time owing to part removed issues. Mate you quoted me fixed price and if you had got it done on half of quoted time would you charged me less. Obviously no. So how could you insist on charging me more than you had quoted and we agreed So beware for any quote from them and agree in writing that its fixed quote. Else you might end up paying more.

Will never go here again. My partner had his car here for almost 2 months, had a part of his car stolen, and when he asked about what had been stolen he was told "oh yeah we'll have to sort something out". After all this time, nothing has been done about what was stolen, and the car wasn't fixed because it took so long to get anything done my partner ended up saying don't worry about it. Waste of our money for nothing to be done.

Car started giving me grief without warning, these guys got me in within 30 minutes. After finding a series of problems with my car they slashed the price for me which was not even asked for, gave me a lift home so I wouldn't have to wait around all day. It's hard to find a decent mechanic with an honest outlook so I will definitely come back here every time. Google doesn't provide enough stars for this crew :).

If I could give this place no stars I would. My boyfriend took his car here and asked them to fix a vibration in the steering wheel, they replaced the brake rotors on one of the wheels. The receipt also said they checked the wheel bearings. 5 days later he was driving home from work and his bearings collapsed. Clearly they were causing the problem and were not replaced. $450 for nothing.

The owner here at Stubbs Auto prides himself on honesty and fairness for all clients. My bill is always fair and the work done is great by mechanics and the owner himself (if need be) who understand and empathise with the issue at hand. If you need any little specialty parts or pieces this is the place to source them from as the team have a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Great service. These guys go the extra mile to accommodate. Took one of our vehicles here for the first time in January this year. Log book service was done much cheaper than the dealership. Second visit today (log book service) and again, great service and no fuss. Will continue going here and will also be getting our truck serviced here now. Well done guys.

There great community spirit and pricing but most of all when they promise to get the job done they get the job done. Would not recommend at all. Thoroughly disappointed with hollow promises, no communication unless I instigated it, incorrect diagnosis on vehicle that led to me buying another car when it wasn't required. This had dragged out for 12 months. I have no words. It has cost me financially and I have suffered much stress and anxiety over this mess.

The staff were good to deal with. There was some junior staff you could tell where being trained in how to deal with customers but that's normal. As for the work on the vehicle it was finished on time and ended up being cheaper than initially thought. Recommend as they seem to be a trustworthy mechanic which can be hard to find

These guys are fantastic, had my car break down on the way to work and i called them up asking if they could have a look at the car and with out any hesitation they said bring it in and they’d have a look at it for me despite not having booked anything in, really appreciate that they took the time to have a look at it for me.

Stephen & Emily were amazing. Service goes above and beyond. They picked my car up from my workplace and dropped it back working perfectly by the end of the day. Also arranged a spare care for me at a much more reasonable price than all the others I had been quoted on. Highly recommend A+++++++++++++++++++++++

Good honest operator. I would high recommend to everyone. I've dealt week some rip off mechanics before around Pakenham, but Stubbsy got the job done for a fair price, and took good care of my Jeep. Steve and Peter have looked after me for a while. After having trouble with local mechanics, I went on a hunt to find one that you can trust and is not going to rip you off. Stubb's caters for all your needs and are a great bunch of blokes and I recommend anyone to give them a go.

what can i say about this place. We were on a holiday road trip and dropped in with no prior booking to get an issue sorted. Stephen fixed our car within no time and then wouldn't take any payment for the fix. If i lived close by this is where i would be getting my car serviced!!

Brought our car in because of a clunking sound in front suspension. They changed a strut and charged $500. Clunking sound still there. Took the car to another place and they diagnosed worn ball joints. This place is dishonest and or incompetent.

These guys are great. They managed to fit me in at short notice. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and sorted out my car issues cheaper and faster than what I'd been quoted elsewhere.

Took my 2005 Holden astra in for a service and they said nothing was really wrong with it. Next day? Absolutely no spark in the engine and I had next to no oil. Paid $220 for nothing.
