This Place is Terrible The Gate closes at 9:45. I was in my car ready to leave @9:45 And left my Phone In My Storage unit So I jump out open the unit Find my phone close the Unit and Its 9:47 When I punch in my code to leave And "EXIT DENIED" So I sit around for 20 Or so minutes Thinking they will do some Kind of security check, walk the property since management lives on Sight. Nope... Now its time for me to call the number on the Gate For "Meto" who closed at 5PM so I look up and see that I should call 311 who also was closed At this point im Pretty much left with 2 Options Stay and work Till 6AM wien they open up and Get in Trouble for That Or look at the Gate And See if there is a manual over ride not only was it there But the over ride is out in the open No lock NOT EVEN A PROTECTIVE COVER ANY ONE WITH the most BASIC Of tools Has Whats needed to open it in 2 minutes But if you Have A Drill it can Be done in 10 Seconds. And Because they say i tampered with the gate They put a Red lock onn my unit And say im evected And won't let me in my unit that I Have for work... The manager is Richard who is extremely Condescending says i "Stayed After Hours"... wich is just not true I Stayed After "Minutes" 2 of them to Be exact i was Held Against My will After Hours I want everyone to Know That im not in a 5×5 Or A 10×10 But I'm in a 10x30 That I have Had for Almost a Month Last Weekend I used A uHaul To Get the rest of The Big stuff. There is not Clothes And Paper Good in there its all Heavy Stuff. I Spent 3 Weeks Moving stuff in To a large unit Thats Probably 80%+ Full They Know this They watched Me bring stuff day after day and snoopeed in my unit every time I had The door Open Im Not Perfect and Yes I was Late but to Evict over this is Ridiculous. If You ACCIDENTALLY Rolled a stop Sign @ 2 AM when there was Not another Car or pedestrian Around Would it be Right For The Cops To Take away Your car, Crush it, & Give you a $15 Ticket? No That would not be ok The way the manager Treats people at this Place After the lease is signed is Ridiculous I Didn't even Plan to Be Here long s its dirty and i had a spider on me the first night that I opened the door I was hoping to get By Just long enough to get my own little shop If you have read all of this Thank you i Really hope I can find warehouse Its actually Kinda scary how Unsecured This Facility is. Just like the lock picking lawyer quotes from someone else "There is no security in Obscurity"

Update #2: After hearing about the vermin situation, Ryan (the Property Manager) promptly reached out to me to discuss possible resolutions. I was terrified to touch anything in the unit out of fear of contracting any illness carried by the rodents. He personally went though the items with me to figure out what was salvageable. I had also just paid the rental fee for my unit just days before finding the damage. Ryan apologised for the loss of my items but said that he would at least reach out to their corporate office to request a refund for the rent I paid for this month. Ryan's quick and empathetic response to this unfortunate situation made everything a bit less hurtful and traumatic. I'm extremely thankful that he was there to assist me. Updated Review: Renters make sure that you have supplementary insurance for your items (not just the worthless insurance that they give you) if you're going to use a storage unit from Extra Space Storage. This Smoke Ranch location has vermin infestation and damage from vermin, which among many other things, is NOT covered by their insurance policy. Be an informed renter so that you're not out thousands of dollars and irreplaceable memories. Original Review: This is my first time having to buy storage space and I came into the smoke ranch location and the person I dealt with (Yvonne Henderson) was THE MOST helpful, informative, straightforward, person to deal with. I had many questions and the office was super busy and she still made me feel comfortable and confident with the entire transaction. She answered every question and helped me pick the best option. I'm so thankful for Yvonne. If you happen to go to this location, and have questions, I highly recommend asking for Yvonne.

****Update: yet again another rate increase. I've been with them for 12 months and they have increased the rate twice. I had a storage with Uhaul a while back and never had a rate increase in the 2 years there. They give you a highly competitive rates to reel you in and then slowly increase the rate, for what? Quick, friendly and attentive service. Ryan was great! He was very knowledgeable, caring and took the time to show us the units we were interested in. He was very nice to my little girl and shared his wonderful sense of humor. We did research of storage facilities in the area. ******update****** I have been less than pleased with the service i have recieved following my initial rental. First of all I attempted to move my items into my storage on Saturday evening and found the unit had a lock on on my unit and i couldnt get a hold of anyone to remove the lock. I had to rent the moving truck for another day, therefore incurring an additional charge. Also the friends i had to help me move weren't available the next day so i had to do it myself. I left messages and finally after calling again i was able to speak with someone who said he would have the manager be in touch with me and i never heard from him. The gate has been bromen for months, so the security promised is not happening. And i can't go organize my unit and get some stuff out until it cools off becuse my "air conditioned " unit is about 90 degrees inside. And now they are raising the price of my unit and i haven't been a customer very long. Needless to say they provide excellent service to get your business but nothing further to keep you happy while you are there.

My wife passed away 2 weeks ago. Her name as well as mine was on the account but I could not remember the pass code to get inside. Upon presenting her death certificate they gave me the pass code to enter. Went out to rent a truck to take everything out and as I am pulling into the storage facility, 2 hours later, I get a call from the facility stating that since I presented them with a death certificate that everything has now changed and I cannot get inside my storage shed and it may take a month to resolve everything. After arguing for an hour and threatening to call local media they finally gave in. I could not believe the hassle and would never recommend this place. I also did notice several storage units with their red locks on them that prevents people to get their stuff out. I completely understand they do that when people do not pay but they had also put a red lock on my storage shed which has automatic payment but they had installed it right before I returned with the truck. Makes you wonder what other ridiculous rules they have in place to keep people from there stuff. UNBELIEVABLE.

I purchased my storage right before close. It's add to the hectic of my day they did not take the lock off and had to come back two hours later and take the lock off. Which now my things are in two different places because I had to get the things out of my place. I decided to go back to see if they had got any of my messages off the phone and they had and took the lock off. They truly need a direct number to contact them after hours in case of an emergency like that. Do to them not taking the blue lock off when I went back 5 minutes later to store my stuff I am now paying for two storage units because of this mishap. Staff is friendly. Though someone else's mistake caused me double for my trouble. Didn't even get I'm I'm sorry from them but I guess that's how business is in Las Vegas Nevada you have to lose and pay the cost to lose as they make money off of their mistakes and help other people make money because of their mistakes on you.

I've been at this location for awhile, not to brag..I have my reasons. But the service here is great! And that's what this post is about. When Ryan took over not so long ago, things began running very well under his management. Upgrades have been made. Favorable ones. Lighting was one of the changes.I feel even more safe whenever I go to my storage room. There has always been monitoring. But just seems more comfortable now. And yes, I concur with the others..Ryan is very hands on with the renters. He works well with accommodating as best he can. And he's very personable. The grounds are kept up, areas are clean and well kept. I'd recommend this location for storage. And I'm a very picky person..

Let me start by saying Juan the store manager is just fantastic. I went to multiple places to compare centers and prices. He was just way above the rest. His facility it super clean and well maintained. He was patient and showed me multiple units and answered all of my mother In laws questions. His prices are competitive and honestly you get what you pay for. My husband and I just moved home since my husband is finished his contract with the Army and we were a little nervous putting some of our stuff in storage but Juan has seriously made this experience stress free. This man is just amazing. Thank you Juan. I recommend everyone check this place out.

After checking with the website for available units and prices, I received a follow up call from Juan, the manager of the location. He reviewed the unit I was looking at, the set up an appointment for us to look at the unit and reserved this one for us. The entire facility is clean and well maintained. The unit was clean as well and even has an interior light, which is not usual in storage units. The floors and hall walls are all clean and the exterior is also clean. Juan was friendly and very helpful and made the process of renting the space fast and enjoyable. Plus the price is good, too.

I bought an auction at this facility Cliff is the one that handled my auction I get to my unit he's not there there's no tamper tag or lock I don't know if this unit's been tamperd with I called Robindale where I have my personal unit asked her to call the district manager to call me nobody has contacted me this leads me to believe that there is some unethical employee practices going on the store America I would advise all auction buyers not to buy from store America

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with StorAmerica self storage (Smoke Ranch) and coming from someone who has had to rent storage for all of my adult life, at multiple different facilities, I gotta say this place was the best. Top notch customer service, Adriana helped set me up with my unit and was incredibly friendly and helpful. She really made the whole process effortless and I cannot state enough how refreshing that is.

We came in to find a storage place for my Grandmother. We were greeted by a man opening the door and a warm welcome. Ryan, storage manager, not only broke down our options for his facility, but he also went above and beyond by reaching out other facilities to find out best match! Needless to say, his perfessionalisn and welcoming energy brings us comfort in knowing our belongs will be safe in his care.

Can I just say AMAZING. I have been looking for a storage unit since last year. I've been to public storage and uhaul but this extra space storage was a different experience. Juan took his time to explain how to get a storage unit. He made sure all my questions were answered. I did not currently rent a unit, however I know that when I am ready to move all my stuff in I will definitely go back to Juan.

Extra space storage on smoke ranch is the best storage facility I've ever done business with! I was helping friends store there belongings while they made a big move to California! My friends had some hard times after a family member had unfortunately passed! Ryan is one of the friendliest people I've ever met! This place is AWESOME!!! They knocked my friends bill from over $250 down to $137 by prorating this that and the other.. The place is clean, safe and professional. The people are ethical and just plain KIND!! Not to mention that we researched rates and they were the lowest in the area!!! I would never go anywhere else, no matter what side of town I lived on!!!

The best storage facility I have used. Duncan was professional, easy going, and pays attention to customer service. I am moving to Las Vegas to go to school. I have to put most of my stuff in storage because it does not fit in my dorm. I went to this extra space storage with my sister and the facility was so clean. Juan was very personable and funny. He did not force me to rent anything without my father, however I will be back to seal the deal.

Excellent customer service from Tara. She was able to answer all questions, and confirm when she didn't. She is proactive on looking for the best deal. No, this is not a planted statement...she really did that. Best thing, she does it without you having to ask. Active duty Military should definitely check out this storage facility.

The most understanding and polite storage place I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with a handful of them , and they actually care about the people renting space from them. I travel a lot it's hard to link payment options and pay with shotty internet and they have always been understanding! I tell everyone to rent from them!

I just recently moved my belongings here. I was impressed on how professional & honest the staff. The price that I was given was far better than any other facility that I contacted in this vicinity. Moving out. Ryan is nice and all but doesn't return calls as he says he will. I called to update my payment information, said he would call back. That was 3 weeks ago. I asked for my late fee to be waived as we have NEVER been late, won't budge... even after I say we will move out! How's that for customer retention??

My experience has always been positive at this site, the new site manager Duncan jerman, is very nice and very helpful. He is polite and very respectful, he took the time to listen,(which is rare). And was able to get the right size unit for my friend. He will get our recommendations in the future.

Extra space storage at this location is everything you could ask for in a storage. Excellent Customer service, I was able to secure a unit and start moving in within the same day. Prices were beyond reasonable and beat all other nearby storages full of tricks, dealing with Ryan was a special treat.
