als herzblut zürcher ist es ein muss diesen legänderen ort in der stadt zürich regelmässig zu besuchen. ich komme regelmäßig in den vorderen sternen (alleine und mit der ganzen familie) und es ist jedesmal einfach super. ich empfehle jedem der etwas zeit hat den oberen stock (bedienter teil) zu besuchen. neben dem klassiker der wurst haben sie einen fantastischen hackbraten nach grossis art - mega! die gastgeberfamilie rosenberger sind einfach aufgestellte sympathische menschen die ihren job mit herzblut ausführen. bravo!

Den Sternen Grill besuche ich immer wieder gerne. Würste jeglicher Art waren meine Favoriten. Das änderte sich, nachdem mein Körper gegen Fleisch, Fisch und Milchprodukte zu rebellieren begann. Meine Auswahl fiel schlagartig auf einen Menü Salat mit italienischem Dressing und eine Portion Pommes zusammen und meine Besuche (auch mit Familie und Freunden) wurden seltener… Jetzt scheint sich das zu ändern Heute versuchte ich die „vegane Bratwurst“ – ein voller Erfolg! Nachdem ich die pikante Wurst gegessen hatte, kaufte ich mir noch 2 solche Bratwürste, Bürli und Kartoffelsalat für den Grillabend zu Hause – einfach lecker! Weiter so!

An institution in Zurich. Great grill food at good prices in an unbeatable location. That's why it is always packed. You can easily spot the place because of the perennial queue waiting to order. Luckily, it moves fast. Try the sausages with bread and deliciously strong mustard. Or head upstairs for a more quiet experience, and a terrace with unique views. Service always has been friendly and attentive, prices are more than fair, and get a complete experience finding a place to sit in the alley.

There's a ground floor without any steps.

We were invited to a corporate event and enjoyed the first-floor view over Zurich’s Bellevue. We had many different options from their menu. From sausage variations to vegan options and “Zanderknusperli” (crispy fish). Even the desserts were so delicious, we couldn’t stop by only enjoying one!

Took this back to the hotel bc kids were tired. The beer was delicious. My husband who doesn’t drink often thought it was tasty. I ate the bratwurst with the sauerkraut and the mustard(yummy and spicy). It was a cheap meal that made me happy. My youngest has fries and nuggets and thought they were good. My oldest had the bratwurst and also enjoyed it a lot.

Even though Zurich is an expensive place this food was pricey for the bad quality. Also, we didn’t even get a plate to eat our food. The place closes at 12pm but at 11pm it already look like they were not happy to serve any food. The burgers were not served on a bun, but rather on a baguette. The meat of the burgers was industrialized, and were not freshly made. They literally overheated the meat when we got there. On top of this, they have the audacity to ask for tips, even though there is no service involved. Two out of five stars.

You can't explore to Switzerland without consuming dairy products and meat if you're not vegetarian/vegan. Unfortunately everything is expensive in Switzerland. After a long struggle, I found this place on Google Maps. I was fed with about 10 francs. The meat was absolutely delicious. I was looking for potatoes. No lie. In this way, I felt the taste of the meat more. It is announced to those who want to taste Swiss meat at an affordable price: feel free to go there!

Die St. Galler Bratwurst ist auch nach zweimaligem nachkorrigieren mit Wunsch “gleichmässig braun, keine weissen Stellen” noch fast zur Hälfte weiss und innen nur mittelmässig warm. Antwort: “Die Wurst geht sonst kaputt”. Mein Tipp: Serviert die Wurst roh, dann bleibt sie bestimmt unbeschadet. Hektik, Massenabfertigung, mittelmässige Qualität, hohe Preise. Scheint halt das Konzept in Zürich zu sein.

The bratwurst was incredible. Not too salty, perfectly grilled to be tasty. So good I bought a 2 pack to take home. Just to be clear, my wife is celiac so we skipped the delicious looking bun. Reviews that say the mustard is delicious and packed an infamous horseradish/wasabi end kick. Be careful but enjoy!

Regarding the upstairs restaurant: Yummy food with good quality, I especially like that you can choose the side dishes and thus can create your own meal version and also determine the meal size. Staff is friendly, the place is unfortunately most of the time a bit too crowded and for my liking one sits a bit too close together at the tables so that it is difficult to have a conversation.

Auf zwei Ebenen kann man entweder gemütlich vor Ort essen oder eine Wurst auf die Hand zu nehmen. Zur Bratwurst gibt es leckeren (scharfen) Senf, Ketchup und ein saftiges Brötchen. Zwar kostet das Paket ca. 10 CHF, aber es lohnt sich.

Great food, great service, great view what can I say. If you can take the stairs go up to the 2nd floor and look out to the lake and street. Its an interesting and relaxing dining experience. We had the half chicken and the curry bratwurst. Both were fantastic.

Best sausage we’ve had because of the homemade mustard! This mustard! I could write poems about it. Spicy and sharp and mustardy it provides the perfect compliment to the crusty in the outside bread and delicious bratwurst. The menu 1 is the way to go which comes with their delectable potato salad. I actually like the vegan one better as it’s tart! If you go at lunch get ready for lines.

All good like always but… one question to the management, have you changed the recipe of the Bruzzito Sauce?? Today I noticed that the packaging changed but the flavor and color also seems to be different… I hope not.. the previous sauce was amazing!!

Great place with various choices to pick from. The place is crowded with locals and tourists all around the world who come here to eat the Sternen Sausage (Pork/Pork & Chicken) and bread. There is also the chicken and hamburger, which are decent options to pick to grab a quick bite. Price is OK, vibrant staff. There is also an upper floor with a different service.

We just came here. Really quick service, good quality and decent prices for Zurich. Staff is friendly and explains everything you want to know about their products. The falafel and the curry sausage were delicious!

Nice food, very friendly service. Upstairs you can sit (shared tables) and order traditional swiss food, downstairs it is takeaway only (sausages, falafel), if you are lucky you can rest in a high table. In the summer you can sit outside (upstairs) and enjoy an awesome view. The location is great, however it is still slightly overpriced for what it is.

Absolute Enttäuschung. Beim Flughafenfest waren wir dort, erst eine halbe Stunde angestanden dann erst hat man auf dem Schild gesehen keine Kartenzahlung möglich und der absolute Höhepunkt dann gab es nichts mehr zu essen.
