I frequently eat at Burger Project and always impressed with the design of the centre. But my thoughts about this place has changed. Last weekend was the first time visiting with my wife and baby boy. My biggest gripe - there are NO FACILITIES in the baby change room. Not even one chair! I had to move the chair from the food court outside into the room so she could sit down to breastfeed in private. I will still come here to eat, but I want to warn parents with prams to avoid this place. NOTE: Honestly this should be resolved immediately, not placed on the back burner until next year. Furnish this room with the essentials, not furnish my question with excuses!

Seriously - how many times does Centre management need to be told how off-putting those escalators are? Forcing people to walk past all the shops is a blatant and transparent way to try and get people to shop - however, all you're doing is ensuring people don't come back, which is a real shame as it's an otherwise lovely space. That said... Love the green glass light installation, and Debenhams is lovely. Refurbished food court is great, but a lot of people are not going to bother visiting because of those damn escalators!.

Very clean, easy shopping. Well set out Concierge very helpful. Impressed. Only thing I didn't like was the escalators 2 up at one end of the building and 2 down at the other. Which was a pain. I entered from Collins St, had to walk through the building to Little Collins St end to get escalators up to next level to them walk back to Collins St end to the shop I wanted. If they had 1 up 1 down escalators I would have saved a lot of time which is important when on a mission!

Really dead and horrible vibes here. Has so much potential but occupancy rate must be less than 40%. Despite the lack of vibes here it could be redeemed if the music wasn’t blaring at 100dB in the food court seating area. Plenty of people come here to sit which is nice but no where to buy food and management clearly want it to be a pop music amphitheatre. Hopefully this centre falls into the hands of someone who who’s what they’re doing.

Management have set both sets of escalators to go up at one end forcing you to walk past all the shops with only way out at the other end. And they alternate on the second floor. First, it feels a lot like blatant commercialism. Second, surely a fire hazard? Besides, its not like the place is mobbed, and why would it be? Theres limited shopping here; its more a wannabe high fashion centre.

Is St Collins lane the biggest fail / waste of realestate in Melbourne, I think so. The place had more vibe and atmosphere as the dirty old Australia on Collins. What went wrong, just look to Emporium.. St wanted to be upmarket with only high end retail offerings and no middle ground you know where the 90+% of shoppers shop and eat. Kinda sad, hopefully it gets sold to someone with sense.

Some of the food places on the top floor are great, but most of the shops are huge wanky luxury big brands... And a Debenhams (which, if you're from the UK looks quite out of place). That said the interior decoration of this centre is lovely and it provides a quick shortcut from Founders St to Burke St Mall. Personally other than for food, it's only Birkenstock and Riess I ever pop in to.

It just looks nice and that is about it. The escalators are incredibly annoying, it forces you to walk all over the place to get up and down. The food court is nice to sit in since the renovation but the music is too loud to have any conversation with people. FYI, if you want to sit at a table you had better bring some cleaning wipes because there are no cleaners around.

From the old Australia on Collins, we now have St. Collins Lane. The retail stores are more up market now. But the old food court they use to have had much more variety. New food court is now upstairs. But you wouldn't know that if you don't wander around. Overall the old Australia on Collins was more inviting and easier to find things.

Brilliant store, beautiful refreshing fashions at affordable prices, super layout of store, incredibly helpfull staff standing out in their black and white check shirts, loving the easy to see mobile cashiers ❤️ excellent salads at super cosy coffee stop. Lovely to see new arcade busy with people. Thanks for this experience. Back soon.

St. Collins Lane is a beautiful centre that has some great spots, looks incredible and is also a great place to work. My friend Dr Liz Isenring and I use it as a 'Coworking' space at times and it feels good. You can charge your devices, get something to eat and things that look great there. Top spot and LOVE IT!

Has some nice clothes stores here but clearly the rent here is astronomical because they have never had anywhere near full tenancy. Just as they were about to have the food court populated, Covid hit. The food court here is now so sad and I don’t even think about coming here for lunch anymore.

A compact department store with some high end shops. Nice food court area on the top level and it's connected to Novotel. My only gripe is the disorienting logic of the escalators direction. Probably want to direct shoppers to a "one-way" shopping experience but it only creates confusion.

I went to this arcade during Boxing Day. The mix of shops were a bit underwhelming. I counted only 5 stores thats unique. The rest of the shops can be found all over Melbourne city. It's definitely not "Melbourne's Most Unique" as the arcades and laneways next to it would be more unique.

l'Occitane products are really good. You must try them. They have some nice gift sets available out there. The display products for men were limited but it was of a very good quality. The sales girl was really good at her customer service skills and had good knowledge about the cologne.

Nice fit out, good mix of high end stores, and food court, but PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE ESCALATORS. It's infuriating that both escalators travel down from Little Collins St entrance and I have to walk to the other end to the just to go up. For now I'll just keep walking and shop elsewhere

Order anything from St Dreux. Wow! I never thought a sandwich could be so good. I've been before, but the second time was even better than I remember. We had Wagyu sandwich which was superb. And the prawn which was also amazing. I wish we lived in the city, just for this place.

New shops into Melbourne's CBD area are open now. Regularly checking this shopping mall, every time something new to find. The food court can make everyone's happy with delicious food as well. Sometimes here is a good place to stay just to relax or charge your phone as well.

  • Christine

Some great shops, but the escalator arrangement is really annoying as they want to direct you around the shopping centre to be exposed to as many stores as possible. I get it, but it's annoying if you don't have time to browse, you just want to get in and out.

  • Nathan Trevaskis

Nice multistory complex with the first and second story consisting of fashion shops and the third containing a wide variety of places to eat such as asian, burgers, sandwiches and more! Occasionally a dj comes to the top floor too for some live music

  • Archie S

High end shops where nobody shops. Has a good foodcourt on level 3 for cheap lunches without going to McDonald's. Annoying escalators which force you to walk the whole length of the building to catch the escalator to reach the next level. Good wifi.

  • Kara

Centrally located with a good range of retail stores, friendly staff and high standard of cleanliness. Upstairs the food court (The Avery) has a decent range of cuisines available we tried Burger Project and Papadam which we're both enjoyable.

The new St Collins Lane is definitely an upgrade on the former Australia on Collins which was looking very tired. The shopping destination has been beautifully designed to a very high standard with a lot of light and some interesting art

  • 360pro 1300360776

This is a new establishment that is in the process of being finished. There is a beautiful, green artwork worth a visit up the escalator close to some nice eateries. Keep your eye out, this looks like it will be great when it's finished!

  • Benedict Uy

It is fairly easy to miss as it mixed in with the other buildings in the area. The place is qutie small with shops and a foodcourt at the top. The escalators to the foodcourt is quite nice with a hanging green roof. The foodcourt itself

  • La Manivela Suelta

It has a nice collection of high end stores, mostly clothing, womens handbags, and some restaurants. I had no intention of buying anything. However, I enjoyed the window shopping. The restrooms in this complex are nice as well, but my

Lost potential. Whomever the owners are of this arcade know little if at all about retail real estate or it was designed by a committee. I suggest walking down the road to the Block Arcade and notice the difference between the two.

  • Jimmy H

It's a nice shopping centre but it's very quiet now and there's hardly any food places left - however this means the food court is fairly quiet and if you need a place to sit down and do a bit of work from its pretty good for that

  • Greg Adkins

Has list the ambiance and history of the old Australia on Collins experience. A few pockets exist that make you feel welcome - hard to find - but overall a lesser experience. Attempted gloss over a true Melbourne experience. Fail.

  • Ken Tran

We wandered up to the top floor looking for a bathroom and were pleasantly surprised by the food court. The quality of food options looked quite good. Expect more upscale shops in this complex. Debenhams was underwhelming.

  • X Y Ooi

This shopping centre is more quiet than any other shopping centres. Don't get me wrong, it has shops and food places. I love that it's a place for me to relax and get away from the hugh crowd.

  • Sam Brown

Nice area upstairs for lunch, to sit and study or take a break from shopping. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Plenty of power points available near tables for your laptop or phone.

  • Elektra Orfanos

I went straight to the top floor to sit at the food court. It's a good space for writers who use laptops as there are nice set ups of tables with power points and most importantly plants!

  • Alwyn Hanson

My School (Alwyns Photo School Melbourne) finishes our Melbourne City Photo Walk class here several times a year. The coffee shops upstairs are excellent and the views are amazing

Located on Level 2 St. Collins Lane is a number of quick and easy food options including Pizza, Vietnamese and burgers. Plenty of seating, cool decorations and affordable food.

  • Kylie de Alvarado

Honestly didn’t go here for shopping, but shops looked like a good range. Walking through was way more fun exploring Melbourne and the green glass bottles drew me in!

  • Christopher Lowe (Clhorwies)

Had a different ambience that fits the Collins Street 'high end' feel. Shame that the first court was mostly closed due to covid and staff shortages.

  • J

Change the directions of every damn escalator back to normal! The decision to change all escalators to the same direction so you have to walk

  • Yuri Mathews

Always less crowd shopping mall, very clean. Usually easy to find a table at foodcourt. (Not many restaurants are open right now though)

  • Helena Klapas

An interesting shopping arcade with an electric green installation which stretches from Collins street to little Collins street !

  • Malcolm Young

Super ritzy shopping mall, featuring many high-end brands, equally snazzy food court and jaw-dropping hanging art piece.

  • Avissa Suseno

Nice dining area with free wifi. You can bring your own lunch here, free water to refill your water bottle …

  • Raymond Cher

A centre with nice design. Love the green sky lights and my Debenhams tee is fab. Toilets are great too. 5 stars.

  • Stephanie Kirkcaldie

Upscale, elegant, adopting, not for the faint of heart, great gourmet chocolate buffet here to indulge into.

  • James

Great place to visit with so many place to shop and dine #traveleverywherewithlove

  • Daniel Soccio

Great for a toilet stop off you cam charge your phone in the empty food court

  • Matthew Mersin

Are they still open upstairs, I can't access Radio Velvet?

  • wleadan Alq

Very quite place with a nice interior design.
