If i could give this school a 0 star rating I would. But i can't. I went here for one year and it was my last year of junior high (thank god) I had a teacher continuously shaming me for not participating when I have specifically told her I have medical conditions and therefore could not participate some classes. She would also leave me and a couple other students outside when we were doing laps and told us 'she wasn't going to wait outside for us' when we were nearly finish. She did this more then once, she would tell us to go outside and we did but then she changed her mind and didn't bother to tell us. When we came back inside from not being let in by her she'd say 'thank you for joining us'. Me and a classmate were also continuously being body shamed by her, and when we went to confront her about it she denied it. Then, the next time she left us out we decided to go to the Principal about it. What did he do? Nothing. We also went to the constable about it and all she had to say was 'she wouldn't ever do that!' and they just shook their heads at us. So the principal there allowed a teacher to body shame students and leave them outside when they were HER responsibility. Also focusing everything on sports and what not seems really fatphobic. Also the school is filled with bunch of racist, homophobics, problem makers and big mouths. I don't recommend going there.
I have wonderful memories of all the kids I met at this school. this was a great year, and a great experience for me. The only real downside were the catholic nuns. Who in the h*ll every put NUNS in charge of educating children. This was the year that i really turned off the catholic religion. You CANNOT force feed religion to kids. SOMEONE needs to educate the nuns, who by the way, were NOT happy people to begin with. As a matter of fact, now looking back as an experienced man, I KNOW most of these women were badly out of touch with reality. THIS behavior does NOT attract people to the Catholic Religion.
Great school and staff, particularly administration make it a nice community. The pandemic has been handled exceptionally well and feels like a very safe environment for staff and students.
This school is very bad. The principal’s and office reception do not listen or care. Don’t send your kids here, they don’t learn school.
Doesn't even care about covid. The desks are not spaced out. Masks are mostly taken off during outside hours.
Excellent french immersion junior high catholic school in the North of the city of Edmonton
Teachers don't give enough attention to students. Old principal got dismissed. Wonder why.
Amazing school. I love the teachers there and the office people!
