A wonderful stay at this little gem of a Hotel hidden in Wandsworth. I booked my elderly parents in for a week over Christmas and they told me it was fantastic. The room was spotless and the bed linen was so clean that my mother said she had to wear sunglasses just to look at it. My mother also said the room smelled of roses and camomile and reminded her of a sunny summer day. The thermostatically controlled heating kept them warm and snug at night, and the tea and coffee facilities in the room and well stocked mini bar brought comfort and distraction to their early morning rise and evening nightcap. Thank you for taking care of my parents. We shall book again in the future.

My absolute favourite hotel in London. The decor is lovely, the rooms are spotless and the service is always really friendly and efficient. On my most recent stay I arrived, exhausted, in the evening having just got back from travelling. I booked it because I knew I'd get a great night's sleep at the Spread Eagle. The beds are so comfortable and the linen is soft (something that is very important to me!) They also have good quality shower products and teas/coffees that you actually want to use. On this stay, they also left a gift of some vegan brownies in my room - really sweet little touch. Every time I've stayed has been literally perfect!

Really lovely hotel! We were after a nice boutique hotel with great rooms and this did not disappoint! The room was really nicely designed, lots of cute little touches which made it really beautiful and cosy! The hotel is part of the pub (literally next door.. down an aisle) the pub itself is gorgeous, amazing food and drinks! And you can have it all delivered to your room as part of room service (which we did a few times)! We were attending an event in Wimbledon, but this was a perfect location for what we needed! Overall a great experience, could not fault anything! We’ll be back!

Was pleasantly surprised! I didn’t have the highest expectations when staying in a hotel called the spread eagle, connected to a pub! It’s kind of next door to the pub, not above it like I’d expected. You enter via a cute courtyard. Rooms decorated lovely with everything you’d need. Nice shampoo and conditioner etc. And SUPER clean. I have a real eye for cleanliness. If I had to say anything negative, it would be shower pressure wasn’t the best, and road could be heard from my room, but that’s just London. I thought it was brilliant value for money.

I really love staying here when I am travelling for work. The attention to detail with what is available in the room, is beyond what you would expect from rooms above a pub. The finish of the rooms is exquisite and the staff are also lovely. If you get there late and need a bit to eat, the food at the pub is also very good. My only negative for this place is that if they put you in a room facing the road it can get very noisy. However, I requested a quiet room the second time I stayed and it was fantastic. Also, for someone who is picky on pillows, the pillows are way too soft and i got a stiff neck when I woke up.

This hotel was located in a fantastic area that was walkable & felt safe. The employees were friendly & helpful. The room was clean & had everything we needed & more. The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. The toiletries provided were high quality & smelled fantastic. Room had AC, safe, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, mini fridge (with honesty snack & wet bar), coffee/tea, extra blanket, etc. Wishing we had stayed longer.

Lovely hotel atop a very classic and beautiful pub. The room was big, quiet, and quite pretty, with an old fireplace and nice pictures on the walls. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was really nice, especially the waterfall shower! Everyone who I interacted with who worked at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Location wise, you are in the centre of Wandsworth, where there are great coffee places, restaurants, and shops, and it's easy to get to central London from the train at Wandsworth Town. Would recommend!

We had a fabulous long weekend in the Spread Eagle. The room was excellent with lovely features and great bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and all needs were catered for with fridge, good hairdryer and safe provided. The reception staff were lovely as were the bar staff next door. I am already looking forward to my next visit. See you soon

We booked this room for a very special occasion and were met with very thoughtful preparations for us. They left us brownies and a cute message. We checked in after midnight and the staff were very nice to us always. The room was amazing with a cool coffee machine, teas, milk and other drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stay in the Spread Eagle regularly when we visit family. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is close to bus stops and parking is available in the local streets. The rooms are situated away from the pub so there are no issues with noise on an evening. More

I absolutely LOVED staying here! The area is so great, the staff were amazing and so thoughtful (they left as a brownie on the house!) and the rooms were to die for! Such beautiful atmosphere and decor and the cleaning was spotless! Just made me fall more in love with London ❤️ they have a customer for life

Rooms were comfortable and clean and the full breakfast was superb. The dinner in the evening on the other hand was very underwhelming/bland considering the price. Also it’s a shame that the water pressure on the shower we had was extremely low - the water barely came out of some of the nozzles. More

Thoroughly recommend the Spread Eagle. We stayed for three weeks and I cannot identify any issues. Rooms excellent and recently renovated. Staff amazing and big thanks to Barbara and team for looking after us so well. Will definitely be back! More

What a find! We’ve already sent reco’s to our friends and fam! Fantastic hotel, staff and location. Loved, loved, loved our weeklong stay. Beds were super comfy (Hypnose) and our room (16) was spacious and gorgeous.
