I have been going to Spicy Chef since I was in Jr High. The quality has always been as good As the first time I first tried it & will forever keep coming back as long as they are around which I hope will be always! They have great deals for students and the owner is so sweet! Really show he cares for his customers since he still remembers me every time i come in (havent been there for almost a year) Please be aware of wait times as they make the food fresh! Which I would honestly always prefer to wait knowing the food is gonna come out delicious! Quality never disappoints and good portions for the price! Quick, filling, budget-friendly option for food in the Sunridge area. My go-to is generally the BBQ chicken or butter chicken naanwich wraps with extra veggies to balance out the sauce and meat. As everyone else has mentioned, that aren't made with thick naans. Rather, they're more so Carribean-style roti. Regardless, quite yummy. The shop is small and unassuming, tucked between a pizza place and a larger Filipino restaurant. Parking is limited in the strip. Be warned this is a place that gets very busy with students during lunch hour.

First visit: tried the butter chicken wrap and the butter chicken platter. The flavor of the wrap was great, a blend of sweet/savory/with a good kick of heat. Platter was good, I personally would have liked more marinade sauce in the chicken. Parking in the plaza can be tight as the space isn't very big.

Ordered their Large Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken Wraps. The wraps were pretty big and filling, far more than I expected for the price point. Both flavours were amazing, delicious, cheap and quick service. Highly recommend and they said they are halal!

This is the new hidden gem of NE Calgary. Great food and great prices. I've only ever had the omlette wrap for breakfast and it is fantastic. The owners/operators of the restaurant are also very nice. I'll be trying the butter chicken wrap next time.

I'm not even a student anymore but I still get the student deal because the owner is just that nice. Butter chicken wraps are to die for with an insanely addictive sauce. There's definitely a wait but it's always worth it for fresh wraps.
