The place is a little difficult to get to if you follow Google Maps and you've already entered the centre from somewhere else (Google Maps tells you to go around instead of upstairs and directly to the store). The experience I had at this pharmacy was fantastic though. The chemist is so personal and affable. I had never been before and was popping in to get some Nurofen (and stat!) and yet I had such a good chat and positive experience there despite my raging headache. Speedy service, highly recommend, would swing by again if I needed anything. Prices were also reasonable IIRC.

I was recently away in Melbourne and needed some urgent help before my next flight out. Southgate was extremely happy to help me over the phone organize my prescription from my doctor in Perth. Driving back to my hotel in Melbourne they had everything ready in minutes, so I could go straight to the airport for my next flight. (I had not even met them face-to-face before) The team at Southgate rang me back to confirm that it was faxed across. The service was outstanding and will not be forgotten.

If you're simply looking for something nearby and convenient, you'll be glad this exist. Staff are always very friendly and happy to help. If you're not in a rush and able to walk just a little bit further, any chemist warehouse will offer you better prices, for example, Blackmores glucosamine 1500mg 180 tablets at CW it's $24.99, here it's 59.95, Ferro grad C at CW is $19.99, here it's $29.95.
