The machine that makes memories, takes them to memories, gets you to work, gets you to that weekend getaway and keeps them safe, so it's natural for them to be careful when choosing a mechanic. I came to Joe on high recommendation and he displayed the utmost care and attention to my car. Explaining in great detail what needs to be done. Judging by past reviews and briefly seeing happy customers in his shop, this is standard business practice. Joe is now my entrusted mechanic for the cars in my family. My Partner recently had the air conditioner on her Ford repaired. Originally the Dealership said the condenser had to be replaced which was going to be an expensive repair. The mechanic assessed the problem and thought replacing the condenser would not solve the problem. Basically the air conditioner was re-gassed. 2 years down the track some seals had to be replaced on the air conditioner. I like this approach. South City only repairs what needs to be done and when a quote is given - that is the price you pay without any surprises.

Took my car to the guys at south city as had been side swiped by a family member. They were super helpful and really approached everything from the point of view of doing the best work and keeping it at a reasonable price. I never felt they were trying to add unnecessary things to jack the price which was my experience taking it for quotes elsewhere. The work they did was amazing, the repaint looks like it’s straight out of the factory. Highly recommend these guys.

I have serviced 2 of my vehicles with Joe - both VW. Joe is extremely thorough and above all else 100% honest. In one instance, rather than charge me for an out of warranty repair, he guided me through the process of speaking with the dealership who then replaced the faulty part - even though the car was out of the warranty period. I cannot recommend Joe more highly and I will surely use his services for all of my vehicles.

Been taking 2 cars there for a couple of years now, excellent service and reasonably priced, good quality work. Sometimes not available for a few days because they're so good so busy (we tend to call at last minute when something goes wrong), but always quick to finish on booked days.
