Under new management! The guy Who used to run this place was shall we say unpleasant. But the guy in the lady that run this place now are incredibly nice. Sometimes you have to access the restaurant through the grocery store because the front door will be locked. But it’s worth it. Apparently most of their business is actually catering events , so more than likelyThey’ll be cooking for whatever event they have coming up and you’ll have the whole place to yourself with all the service And hospitality that comes with that. He has a special hummus that he makes that his own special recipe that’s really good. Maybe I’m biased I live close enough that you could throw a rock at me from the front door. I say come to the grocery store ,pick up some awesome big chunk of bread for later, some pita, hummus, and some feta. Then did into the restaurant and grub with good company. Happy times.
We've been here twice. 1. Prices are way too high without any explanation. Why should a chicken kabob with rice cost $12.99 for lunch? Amazingly, the chicken kabob we were served was of dark meat, not the breast meat that is typical. Perhaps this is why at 1 pm Wednesday we were the only customers! We've seen overpricing at Persian restaurants repeatedly. Lack of business saavy? We don't know. It's sad and confusing. Not all Persians operate like this, though. For example Bibi Sara in woodland hills serves breast chicken kabob with saffron rice and side salad for $8.99.
Beef kabobs are incredible. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great market

Yummmmm! I only stopped by because I was in the mood for ghormeh sabzi and they were close by but I will definitely be back! The food was YUMMY and the atmosphere was simple but welcoming and the owners were SO SWEET. Also, my baby is not Persian at all and I have never seen her eat so. much. food. I’m so happy to know this place is in the neighborhood.
We ordered catering service for our baby shower, which had over 25 guests. The food quality was excellent. I would say they have some of the best koobide in LA.
