I visited Sonterra Laser Med Spa for the first time for some botox and fillers. I have had both in the past and have had GREAT results. I let Blake know my immediate concerns. I did emphasize I was from out of town and was getting married in several weeks, so it was critical that we get my concerns addressed. I am more than realistic, as I realize given my age I can-not expect miracles. Blake had suggested she place fillers in my cheeks in order to lift and fill my smile lines. In the past, I have had fillers placed directly in my smile lines and have had the wow factor. Given she was the professional, I decided to follow her suggestions. Unfortunately, $1200 later the outcome was less than appealing. I have a "lump" in my cheeks to create the lift but see very little result in my smile lines. I called several days following my procedure to communicate my concerns and was told that I needed to wait to see the outcome. I let her know that Blake had said the filler I would be able to see immediate results. I also let her know I would be leaving town on Tuesday. She placed me on hold and indicated I could come in and see someone else on Monday. During my consult on Monday, I was told I would have to pay $595 for an additional filler. I asked if we could dissolve the filler in my cheeks since that was not smoothing out my smile lines like I had asked. She stated she could not, and the medical director would have to be present in order to do so. I asked why we were scheduled if there was nothing they could do. She stated the front desk had scheduled the appointment because they thought I was having complications. She also informed me the medical director would be calling me later in the day in order to discuss further. Overall, extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication among the staff and the lack of f/u with the medical director. In addition, disappointed in the fact I addressed my concerns with Blake on my initial visit and for $1200 see little improvement. My time is extremely valuable and to bring me in and then inform me that the staff scheduled me as a mistake, then let me know there was nothing they could do is inexcusable. Furthermore, I was told I would receive a f/u call from the medical director which never happened. Would not recommend as there customer service and communication skills or lack thereof are atrocious. Also, expect to spend $$$$ and see very little improvement.

I have had many treatments at this salon including botox, laser hair removal and cool sculpting. I would avoid this place at all costs! Here was how I was treated when I had cool sculpting; When I had a consultation for cool sculpt there was a misunderstanding when the staff said that if you do two areas its the same price (i thought 2 for 1 - it seems they meant the same price twice!) After having the two areas of cool sculpting, i realised the misunderstanding when they presented me with a bill of almost $1500! When i explained what happened, they treated me like a criminal, didnt let me leave the clinic and made me speak to their owner who also treated me like a scam artist, rather than a mortified customer who had a genuine misunderstanding! They finally let me go however I also had laser hair removal booked with them and when I came back for that treatment a few days later, they made me wait in the waiting room for 20minutes before i was told all my treatments at the salon would be cancelled and they no longer welcomed me there! They also said it infront of a waiting room full of people as well just to add to the humiliation. Absolutely disgusting treatment of their customers, zero compassion or understanding. I was absolutely appalled to be treated like that after a misunderstanding and then to be turned away as a result. Quite sure the harshness was because of race and have seen a few other comments in the reviews that said similar. BE WARNED, they are RUDE, dont care about their customers and will treat you like DIRT.

The staff is friendly and sweet but I did not have a good experience at this place and here’s why: when I made the appointment I was ensure that I had 1.5 hours to receive a consult and a laser procedure. When I arrived for the consult the nurse did not even mention the procedure that I was wanted to have, she only would speak about the peels and micro needling when I specifically requested a laser consult, we did speak the doctor over a Skype session that lasted about 2 seconds ( he didn’t even look at my face) and cleared me for the laser treatments. The nurse still kept conducting a consult for a peel, I asked her if I could go ahead and get the peel since clearly they had no one that could do the laser treatment I was promised. She then told me she had no time available for the peel. This peel is a leave on peel and takes maybe 8 minutes to apply. They couldn’t even fit that into the schedule (keep in mind I was promised an 1.5 Hr apt) I took off an entire day of work, drove 4 hr round trip to their office (which is in bad need of interior devoting help) for nothing. Stay away!!!!!

I've been coming to Sonterra for almost a year now for different treatments and have been very happy with every experience! Flexible scheduling, great appointment reminders texted to your cell phone, and awesome monthly specials that just can't be beat. Laser hair removal is painless and effective - I noticed a huge difference after just one treatment. The estheticians are all very knowledgeable and are very personable and friendly. They recommend the best treatment for your concerns/goals without pressuring you into anything - they have your best interest in mind. And the nurse Blake is awesome at injecting - she evened out my lips in one session without making me look like a fish! Definitely recommend Sonterra for any cosmetic procedure.

Not customer oriented at all. Was undecided whether I liked the spa the first visit. Booked a second appointment to try. While the service provided the first time was good (microneedeling). I did like my technician. The customer service was average. They did not even have blankets to offer while I was having the procedure done (I was cold). My regular spa offers tea upfront and a bottle of water after procedure. Pillows and blankets go by default. I was 15 min. late for my second appointment, was probably their last client as they close at 6 and I arrived 5.30. Forced to reschedule and they told they have a client after me. How can that be if the spa closes at 6 and my procedure takes 30-40 min. Anyway, they just lost a regular client as I will not be coming back after I am done with the whatever I booked already.

I have enjoyed my experience at this medical spa. The atmosphere and environment really make you feel like you are at a spa. The entire staff is friendly and professional and everything is very clean. I have had a positive experience with my laser treatments and will continue to take advantage of their monthly specials and get more treatments done. Fair warning, laser hair treatment is addictiing, once you do one area and see the results you will want to continue to more areas and get rid of that unwanted hair. I also like the fact that I can make appointments later in the evening due to working downtown and the traffic getting home to stone oak area. Highly recommend this medical spa to anyone looking for somewhere safe, clean, and professional to receive any type of treatment.

I was really nervous the first time I went because a friend tried laser hair removal at another place (not to be named) and had a horrible experience. After reading the wonderful reviews, I decided to take the plunge and try Sonterra Laser Med Spa. Keri helped me out and she was absolutely wonderful!! She is very knowledgeable of the laser process and took her time to answer all my questions and make sure I was comfortable. The office is very clean and everyone I spoke with during my appointments have been extremely friendly. And I am also happy to report that all my friends are jealous that my laser hair removal experience has been so great!! If you are considering laser hair removal this is definitely the place to go. I just went for my first treatment for laser hair removal and it was fantastic!!!! Angie was my technician and she was very sweet and answered all my questions. I was very nervous about doing this because I psyched myself out looking at "laser hair removal burns" on Google, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was almost painless (small rubber band snaps every now and then) and she was patient when I needed a break and I as very comfortable. The office staff was very nice and welcoming. I was in and out in 45 minutes. IThe one thing I recommend is not getting laser over the summer if you plan on tanning or being in the sun a lot, because they have a strict no sun exposure without sunscreen policy after treatments. 10/10 would recommend!

Ran late because work kept me 5 minutes long. Called the office immediately to let them know that I’d be 10 minutes late. They say no problem as long as it isn’t past 10 minutes. My appointment is at 10:15 and I show up at exactly 10:25 to the address given. I show up and am driving around for 2 minutes and can’t find the office, I call the office to ask where to go and they say they’ve cancelled my appointment. I drove 20 minutes across town to be seen and was blown off because their office is difficult to find. I won’t be rescheduling with how anxious and uncomfortable they made me feel. This is what gets in the way of people accessing care.

This is by far one of the best skin care purchases I have ever made. I especially love the serums. They don’t cause irritation, feel lightweight and they have reduced most of my wrinkles. Also helped clear hyper pigmentation that I had been suffering from for a long time. It is the first time I have seen a product that showed visible changes. I have been using the products for years now and I am really very pleased with the results. My only wish is that they do not change these products. Product is a bit on the pricey side, but I am very happy I discovered them I. Highly recommend them to anybody who is worried about aging skin.

Was a regular customer at this establishment before we moved to Hawaii. Coming home to visit for the holidays and tried to book an appointment and they tried to tell me that I had no-show appointments when I wasn’t even living there. Their company is not organized and the fact that they did not even try to assist with that really spoke volumes. I’m happy to take my business elsewhere. They really need to get their organization skills together. Refusing service for someone that doesn’t even live there really blows my mind. The lady on the phone was not helpful at all. They have a bad attitude.

I had 6 laser hair removal treatments over the course of 7 months with no results. Whenever I voiced my concerns I was told to “wait and see”. Three of my girlfriends had laser treatments at another facility with a different laser and had zero hair growth after three to four treatments. I’m switching to thier med spa. Don’t waste your money at this location. *Update I went to another Spa and saw immediate results after 1 treatment. I have zero hair growth in the treated areas after 3 treatments* Don’t waste your money at this location!

Angie was my laser tech she was super informative but unfortunately the treatments did not work for me. My skin was burned and i had a bad reaction after my second treatment. I was told i could get a refund and they provided me a check in hand. Jennifer up front was super helpful they did take a while to get back to me but when i called back they stayed on the issue. I would recommend asking tons of questions and definitely giving your skin time to see if the laser works for you but overall it’s not a bad experience with these ladies.

Blown away at the wonderful service I received! Cori, Keri, and Angie all did a spectacular job and are highly knowledgeable. I am endlessly impressed with their staff as they were very kind, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The receptionist, Jessica, made the booking process so simple and was extremely helpful. I also had a wonderful experience with Blake and Melissa who made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. My results are amazing and I am definitely going to continue to come back!

The staff was friendly and the waiting room was very relaxing. My consultation was very eye opening! I did not realize that this type of technology was so easily available to me. In my consultation, I was able to see photos of different layers of my skin which showed sun damage, pores, bacteria, etc. It was amazing to me to be able to see sun damage which has not yet surfaced but will eventually show up on my face unless I take precautions now. I am so excited to begin my journey to healthier, smoother skin.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly, professional and helpful staff. I had a minimal wait time for my consultation (no more than 5 minutes after completing my paperwork) and Laura, the staff member I met with, was extremely helpful, honest and made sure to explain everything in detail about my services. I didn't feel like I was being pressured into a sale like in other consultations I had been to. Over all, I would recommend this place to all of my family and friends.

Very friendly staff. Nice establishment. The sessions only took 10mins so you were in and out quick. As for results I didn’t see any at all. At the first appointment the Tech said it could take 8-12 treatments (I bought the package for 6) so right away I knew they were gonna try to sell me more. Six months going and nothing changed. I know it’s not a guarantee when you do laser hair removal, but thought I’d see some type of difference. Disappointed.
