I honestly LOVED this location until tonight. Tonight I experience extremely racist profiling from multiple of the employees this evening, Triston and the Blonde manager.. I came in to grab formula and a couple other things and browser around because I'm a mom who doesn't get out much . As I was paying after being followed around by two employees and having one check the stock after I left the area. I finished and paid and instead of getting a bag I put my items into my pocket, Triston said "I don't think you're allowed but his manager said it's fine because I am on camera . I then laughed and said well at least I am saving a bag . I was then let with the rude response of yeah enjoy your essential oils. I didn't buy any so she was outwardly accusing me of stealing because they didn't "catch" me stealing . I snapped and emptied my pockets to show I didn't steal because I'm not a theft. I asked if this happened because I was because racially profiled for being indigenous and they said they don't have to explain and that I must now leave

Why is the security guard following me and staring at me in the store??? Because I am not white like him? I will NO longer be spending my money at this establishment. I rather drive farther away where I am not being watched and stared at! as if I even gave him a reason to watch me! I put my items back because of him. Sobeys do better it's 2024!!! No one has time for this. If he's stuck in his ways because of old age maybe consider replacing him if someone was stealing not like he could stop them with his fragile looking self. He was watching all of us black people, disgusting! If I could give negative stars I would. I wrote this review in the parking lot.

It’s a grocery store with a vast selection of food. It’s not like we don’t know what to do when we go there. It’s in the middle with respect to prices. Of course if you shop when there are sales then you can make your shopping dollar go further. The store is well lit and pretty clean. It’s close to where we live so it’s convenient. We shop here very often and the staff is friendly and courteous. We will continue to shop here. March 30, 2019. Another trip to the store to get groceries. It sure doesn’t take long to spend $80. But shouldn’t be buying pop, chips and chicken wings, oh well

Today I was going in to the store to see if they had what I needed just one quick thing as I’m walking in I get stopped and asked to put my purse in at costumer service! It’s a small back back style purse I refused as I’m not leaving my purse with people I don’t know or trust! And then as I was leaving I get stopped again but a manger.because I’m assuming my hands were empty(they didn’t have what I needed) .very in appropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable I will not be going back to this location

My favorite place to grocery shop! They have everything I need there. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Would def recommend!! Just went for an ice cream run at Sobey's...so hot in Edmonton these past couple of days. Thank you Sobey's for having all of my favorites!! The staff at Sobey's are so friendly and helpful! You will not be disappointed making this grocery store your favorite!

I’ve never cared where I buy my groceries. This place makes me care. They have earned my business by consistently making me feel valued. I love the team. I follow them on social media. They are constantly looking for ways to better the community. They will ensure you smile on your visit to them. Incredible team with incredible leadership that truly puts guests first. Old world service.

Went in today with my 2.5 year old and we tried the baby carts and everyone was super friendly and patient with the fact he was learning the cart ropes if you will! Definitely recommend it! Thank you to the amazing cashier who was patient when we tried to help him put our items on the belt! I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name but you are incredible!

I would really like to give a massive shout out to Justin that was working the meat department tonight, September 6 that young man stayed after his shift just to make sure that I had the live lobster for my dinner tonight! That young man absolutely went up and beyond for me such a wonderful young person you guys have working for you!!!!

Twice out of the last 5-6 times I've been there they forgot to put items I pay for in my bag. I don't notice until I get home and don't want to have to drive all the back to the grocery store for a 4 dollar drink or chocolate bar. It's a shame they don't have self checkout so I can be responsible for my own things.

Always clean and friendly. Met the grinch last visit. I love this Sobeys the manager is kinda crazy in a lovable way since I can remember shopping there he's laughing, singing and dancing with the young and old customers. Please keep up the entertainment.

I was greeted by a fellow singing Christmas music in the vestibule area upon entering! I don't go there often due to me not living in the area, but everytime I do end up there, the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful!

Amazing vibes at this store! I had a not so amazing experience at the deli and the manager I believe ( Rob) was an absolute gem! Made it right. I love this small town vibes store and will be returning

This is such a community anchored store and it's in the best location. Banks, drug stores and fast food like McD and Mary browns in the same parking lot.

I enjoy going here for my groceries. The first Tuesday of the month gives the best deals. They are always friendly and ready to help if needed.

Such friendly staff and dedicated to serving customers well. They have foods from the Maritimes that are hard to find otherwise, love that!
