"Very colorful! Getting there thru older residential streets"
"Really cool place to check out, it's more like a decked out neighborhood park based on the location in the middle of a neighborhood but it's really interesting"
"Really nice little area full of beautiful mosaics! There is so much to see and so many hidden images"
This is such a beautiful park and the artists are quite talented. The mosaics in this park are stunning. I've never seen such detailed tile work. The day I visited there was an artist who was installing a new piece. I must say it was a joy watching him work. There are several artist installments and much to look at. Don't come to this park with the idea of having a picnic. This truly is for admiring art or for taking some jaw-dropping photos. The individual vignettes are perfectly sized for quick portrait photo sessions. I highly suggest stopping by if you're looking for an outdoor photo area.

We just did a little stop over on our way home to San Antonio from Galveston; to let the kids run around and take a quick picnic before heading out for the long drive. The kids had fun spying the small, weird things in the installations. And we were able to take a bunch of last-minute photos! You would not really know that this installation was here, if you didn't know about it, it was really unique and is definitely worth the pit stop and the check out!
Dog-friendliness
They have provided doggies bags and clean-up areas and trash bins.
Picnic area
This park has multiple tables and benches to sit down and have a nice picnic or just enjoy the art!
Very colorful! Getting there thru older residential streets. I'm pulling a small camper so it was slow going as some of the street are kinda rough. I wouldn't try it with anything bigger than a 15-footer. Parking was on the street. There's 3 gates, but 2 were closed, n appeared locked. Coming out I tried one, n it opened. The mosaics are really nice. Some needed pieces replaced, n there was a couple there working on one. Worth the stop. Pets welcome. There's even a pop bag stand if you forget yours.
Really cool place to check out, it's more like a decked out neighborhood park based on the location in the middle of a neighborhood but it's really interesting. It was smaller than I thought it would be but there's still a lot to see! The mosaics are full of different objects and figures. I went when it was lightly raining and it made the ground tiles kinda slippery but I loved that it was empty and we got to appreciate everything more. Highly recommend for visitors and residents alike.
Really nice little area full of beautiful mosaics! There is so much to see and so many hidden images. There was a little bin underneath the covered area that had a bunch of scavenger hunt papers like the one shown in the photo I included. It was really fun to find all the items on that paper. Also various photo opportunities. And you can park your car right next to the park too :) no issues finding parking at all!
If you love art, random things, taking photos, this is a great spot. Parking is easy, around the park. This community park is small but it is so interesting and the photo opportunities are endless. If you walk around the neighborhood, you can see that some of the houses have art pieces too on their front yard. I love art projects like this that bring creativity to the community.
This is such a special place... so colorful and full of love! All the tile art is just absolutely beautiful and I could spend hours here looking at each design. So much thought put into each piece. Dog and kid friendly. Highly recommend for a magical outing in Houston, a neat spot for a picnic or a really cool photo backdrop.
A little out of the way, but worth it. A small community park with tons of mosaic art, that you could just stare at for hours and keep finding something new. We brought some food here for a breakfast picnic. Beautiful large willow gave some welcome shade. Parking is easy, and there are swings and plenty to look at.
Had a great time here with my family. Loved the artwork. The artists are very creative and deserve so much credit. It is also free for people that just want to enjoy the view. There is also a scavenger hunt sheet for you to have fun while looking at everything. Definitely recommend this to everyone.
Interesting artist park with many different perspectives and displays. The park is about the length of 1/2 block about 20 yards wide, has grass and side walks, and small amphitheater (without seat). I would encourage you to look up the perk, it pictures and decide for yourself on whether to visit.
I got to see the artist, working on a mural that Saturday morning that I visited. He was very concentrated on his work I was so amazed on how good he is. The murals are very detailed, a lot of imagination has been put into every one of them. I got to take a lot of photos.
Such a fun park to visit. Each time we go we discover something new. You can spend a lot of time discovering the details. When the artists are working on a piece it is a lot of fun to watch with the kids. Amazing spot to take photos.Wish there were more places like this.
Super cute place!! The art was phenomenal and you can really see the intricate details !! Really brings out your inner kid. Parking is street parking. The park is within an neighborhood. We arrived 20mins before closing and it was enough time but we had to rush a bit.
Very cool place. While I was there, people were there working on art projects in the park. In a suburb across from homes. Would be super neat to have a park like this in every community.
Picnic area
Tables to eat and enjoy the art you are immersed in.
It is a beautiful and colorful park that you would love to visit with your family, isn't bigger, but you definitely can walk around while you just enjoy each piece of art. You can bring your dog with a leash and of course your camera …
This place was a real diamond in the rough All of the beautiful colorful designs were absolutely magical. Had no idea is mosaic tile park even existed in Houston hidden in a neighborhood. There is a big outdoor pavilion and grassy areas for
This was such a neat little park to stop at. I highly recommend spending some time taking in the art and details of this unique place. While the mosaics make large, interesting pieces, the magic is in the details. Small pieces that make up
Love it! What a master piece! I can't wait to go back. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the artists. Thank you, Mark, for giving me the background on this park. Keep up the great work on your tree!! I look forward to seeing you again.
This place is awesome. The mosaic art is amazing. It's super cool to look at as a whole, but when you start to examine them closer you notice even more neat things! If you enjoy our or outdoor trips even a little you need to visit.
It is a Free and Cool tile art park hidden in a low income neighborhood. The park is not very big, but the tile art pieces are so cool to look at. So, if you enjoy artsy things, check out this spot when you visit Houston.
I love art. And this place is pretty cool to come look at. It's interesting how they use different objects to create different kinds of pictures. The park is pretty small but it's definitely a must place to visit
A very artsy park with tons of amazing art work. There were people from within the community there the day I went making new art work. It's also dog friendly with dog waste bags and bins placed along the gates.
This is a unique park, but the surrounding area appears to be a little rough. The park could also use a little pressure wash, but overall you can tell a lot of work was put into the Mosaic artwork at the park.
Had my goats 3rd birthday party here...yeah sounds strange but fun...just like this place. Definitely a must see, the creativity and time that has been put into this place is incredible to say the least.
Very cool little park! The art is very interesting to look at! My family and I loved it!
Picnic area
Some tables with benches and some nice sized grass areas for a blanket picnic!
Incredible artwork! Plus there's a scavenger hunt for children who can't fully appreciate the idea of the art provided! Amazing displays, discreet location and available as a public park!
One of the coolest parks we have been to in a minute. It was small but filled with so much creativity that time just flew by!
Picnic area
Plenty of picnic tables to choose from.
A little park right in the middle of a neighborhood. The amount of work that went into the art there is impressive. It's a great place to visit and get cute pictures. More
A modern take on recycling for the creative purposes. Multiple artists band together to display the revival of scrap into thematic pieces that tell a story on your stroll.
What a cool place to visit. Such creative works of art. All the little details are incredible. It’s a great place to bring your lunch and have a picnic.
Small, unassuming park full of Mosaic glass intricately designed art pieces. Great spot for taking pics. Definitely worth stopping in plus it's free.
I Loved it here so much! I wanted to do something for my would have been Daddy's birthday, and this was perfect because his last name was Smith <3
Surprising Park. I know that is far away from downtown but I think that it's a must in your trip to Houston.
Really cool, eclectic art park. Even for those that don't normally like that kind of thing!!
Beautiful intricate designs. Peaceful area.
