I love love love this spot! Mike (one of the owner) was not only friendly and gave us many recommendations, he also made a killer charcuterie board. I do not eat pork and he was able to find some amazing non pork substitutions. Our entire party was blown away with his service. Thanks, I will be back. Truly a hidden gem.

I love this place sooo much! i grab to go and picnic at la jolla shores….the holy mole and phoney baloney are my faves and get extra cheese and meat for $5 on the side. Everything is so fresh and delicious and each product is chosen with care. The owners are super nice. Amazing all around! …

We stumbled into Small Goods to grab sandwiches and were blown away by the taste, care, and quality that went into every bite. We then ordered a charcuterie platter for a party and were equally impressed! What a special spot. It will be our go to spot for both local lunches and party platters!

My friend and I went in for a cup of coffee and hung out for a while. The owner brought out samples of cheese/meats three different times while we enjoyed our coffee. The cheese and meat was so good and they were so kind and generous! Definitely recommend.

Wonderful service, felt like we were treated as friends. The meat and cheese board we got was wonderfully curated with a very tasty spread of local meats and cheeses we've never had before. And the price was a steal! Definitely recommended. More

The gentleman who runs the shop is so amazingly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out the best cheeses, and the most amazing salami when we walked in not even knowing what we wanted. He went out of his way to help us,

Not only was the plate amazing, but the owners are wonderful! There was a misunderstanding in my order, and I didn't realize it until after leaving the shop... but the owners sorted it out with me over the phone, were beyond kind, and went

Fantastic cheese shop in La Jolla. We were so thrilled to stumble on this gem in our search of good bread. We indeed found a great baguette but we also got to enjoy great cheese and produce, including the incredible smoked duck! This place

Smallgoods is a great small, 3-person, business in La Jolla where you can find great cheese, cured meats, sandwiches, tea, legit baguettes, all of excellent quality and flavor. I've recently organized a virtual wine tasting for 26 people,

Me and my boyfriend decided to come to this shop in search of a charcuterie board and we were not disappointed. We came in a few minutes to closing thinking we’d missed our opportunity when we were greeted by both of the managers deciding

This is an incredible cheese shop with even better company/ownership. We’ve known Jenny and Mike since before they had a storefront. Jenny is a member of the American cheese society. La Jolla doesn’t realize what a gem they have here (jk,

Mike is easily the most knowledgeable meat connoisseur I've ever come across. I've been all over the country and tried meats from many different places but nothing has come close to what Small Goods has been able to source. I recently had

Smallgoods is a hidden treasure. While it's slightly off the beaten path, the search is worth it! Their sandwiches are amazing, especially the turkey and cheese, the holy mole, and the veggie. Their cheese platters are equally wonderful.

Came here looking for some specialty cheese to take home. The selection is pretty small, but the employee was very friendly and offered suggestions and samples. I ended up getting two different kinds to take home and was happy with them.

Food was good, but the owner was a bit weird, and pushy. My husband and i are first timers in LJ, and he aggressively insisted we try one of the cookies. he also stood around, and tried to make conversation with those around him outside,

We are so lucky to have this delightful shop in the village. My weekly haul is usually a couple of incredible sandwiches, a sheep or goat milk cheese, fennel salami, some fresh pasta and pesto, and a baguette for my picky daughter (who’s

The friendliest shop in all of La Jolla! Not only are their goods delicious - but the owners are so sweet and knowledgeable of their products. We were on a Picnic experience where you pick up pre-booked orders and this was the last stop

I’ve been here three times, the first when a really friendly gentleman, the owner possibly, waited on me and he was kind and passionate about his cheeses and other offerings. The last two times I’ve been in I’ve been “helped” by a woman

What a stellar shop! So cute and inviting. The rotating selection of cheeses and cured meats is top notice and unique, not like what you can find in any grocery store. Don’t miss the butters! Also a great spot to pick up a sandwich or

Small foods created a beautiful platter for my daughter’s graduation. As the event was early the next day up in LA, Mike worked with us to choose items that would last overnight and travel well. It was the perfect offering for a mid

I'm so glad I walked past this place and decided to stop in! The owners couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful -- one of the owners, Jenny, is a Certified Cheese Professional and asked a bit about what I like and then made

The individual cheese plate is the perfect light beach lunch! Made to order based on what you like with a lovely variety of fruit, honey, etc. Honestly a great deal and nice way to try so many different cheeses and meats at once
