I was referred to Cass via Home Depot's "Home Services" page after a failed DIY attempt at replacing my bathroom fan. It was an urgent job as the old fan had been damaged and I was getting worried that the excess moisture will lead to mold in the bathroom; hence when home depot sent me a list of 3 contractors, I booked the first company that reached out to me. Cass was the second call and I had no choice but to decline, still he was very polite and calmly enquired about the other company's charges (goes to show that he genuinely want to be competitive). When the day of appointment arrived, the other company went missing in action. Infuriated (I took time off work for this), I called Cass and scheduled an appointment for the next day; he promptly showed up, replaced my bathroom fan, and even cleaned up the part of the ceiling that was stained from the old fan. Throughout the installation, Cass and his team took precaution with appliances and furniture around their work area, making sure that they are covered to prevent damage. Outstanding attention to detail! If you are looking for someone professional, who respects your time, please look no further. In fact, Cass probably saved me an extra trip as I had informed him that there was no need for him to bring a fan as I had one...as it turned out, I bought the wrong fan and Cass happened to have a spare in his van. With respect to cost, not the cheapest, not the most expensive either; but heck, I will pick reliability over cost anytime!

I called to have an upgrade done to my panel, and I was asked to text him the details as well as my address. I was told Cass would come on Thursday at 9 am. It's now 10:36 am. I called to see if this company was the same as all other versions of the name listed online, and I was told it was. I informed him that it was all I needed, as I didn't want to give a negative review on another company with a similar name. Now he sounded like he just woke up. I'm not sorry I woke him. I run a business as well, and I know it's tough sometimes, but I went out of my way in my work today to accommodate a repair guy coming, and they don't show, don't call, nothing! Like I said, sometimes its worth paying a little extra for a service, when service is prompt and high quality work is delivered. I'm calling Milani Electrical instead. They might charge a bit more, but at least you get what you pay for. So buddy...go back to bed. UPDATE Bhahaha...I just realized the significance of saying you'd go to JetPet instead, even though they might charge more, as it is a total copy of what I said in regards to Milani Electrical. You don't even have the capacity to slander someone in your own words, you have to mimic my words in order to do it? Are any of your 5 star reviews real? You are a joke, dear sir, because I wouldn't want to do business with incompetent people who drops balls all over the place! Bhahaha

I contacted Cass to replace 2 noisy bathroom fans. He established trust with me immediately because of his competent explanations and recommendations. Compared with two other firms that I had assessed, the discussion with Cass was vastly more helpful to me regarding the products available and the challenges of the installation. His estimate of cost was almost identical with the other two, but it was "firm" (the other estimates left most everything open - labour cost, materials, etc.). However, I was still fearful that his superior communications skills may not be backed up by the reality of his work performance. No need to worry: Cass did an excellent job and, in addition, proved himself resourceful by identifying an alternate model of fan when the original model was not suitable for one of the bathrooms (he did not charge extra for his efforts to procure the new model). Beyond the work itself, Cass is a wonderful person with a large horizon of knowledge and varied interests which makes for pleasant and substantive conversation.

I just called about electrical outlet under the sink. He was professional and quickly provided me appropriate cost. He arrived on quoted time. He was extremely professional very friendly. It was not an easy job, he very patiently listened to what I wanted. After he installed the first one I tried my power adapter, this power adapter was oddly shaped and seemed to be a problem to plug it. He immediately adjusted the outlet to and ensured that the power adapter plugged in properly. He did not grumble about it and it took more time than what was expected again he was pleasant and a very neat job, cleaned up everything. He sent invoice without expecting immediate payment and had full trust. I fully recommend him, in fact I will get my electrical job done. He is not greedy and not overcharge. Good job keep it up.

Needed a light put in my guest bedroom as I’m converting it to a room for my mother. Guy showed up on time, at 10am ready to work, which was good because I had a meeting finished right before he arrived and then one scheduled soon after. Explained the situation to him, he quoted me a price we both felt was reasonable, and I left him to do his thing. I came back an hour later and the project was almost done. Total time was 1.5 hours and he even cleaned up after himself. The light was perfectly centred and he didn’t have to cut any unnecessary drywall leaving my walls in perfect condition. Needless to say I’d recommend Skylight to anyone.

Cass answered the call on an evening shift when I blew the breaker while swapping out an old receptacle in the kitchen. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. A very small job for Cass but he handled it like any other major incident. It was nice he politely pointed out the error I caused and gave me a couple of good pointers to. We talked shop briefly and I pointed out a couple of other jobs I needed done on a future visit. Cass was a great professional of the trade and very respectful while in my home. Fantastic service. Cass came to our home twice to install a track lighting fixture that we had purchased separately from a lighting store. The first time we had to send him away because we discovered that we’d received the wrong fixture. Even though it was not his fault, he refused to charge us for the visit. The second time, he came, installed the fixture, and then finished two other fixture replacements that we asked him to do on short notice. He was very courteous and professional. We had a renovation in our place and called skylight electric to change our panel and change the wiring in the house which was aluminum to copper. Cases came in on time recently to install a baseboard heater in the bathroom and 2 thermostats in our condo in Yaletown. He is very thorough, professional and provide good advice on electrical services regarding wiring and switches etc inside the unit. He may not be the cheapest in the industry but has no hidden cost and is very fair in handling repair cost and email digital invoice promptly.
