There is a different charm about a place where the owners are fully invested in their creation. You can see it reflected on the food, the service, decor and the overall hospitality. It feels homely and you know quality is guaranteed. The interior is quaint with emerald green and wooden coloring. Hand painted picture( by one of the owner )of a Thai lady in a boat selling food is reminiscent to floating markets in Thailand. We ordered 5 food items off the menu and couple of drinks. Some of the items came recommended by one of the owners Ms.Suppalak. Everything that we ordered was to the point. The food was delicious, reminded us of the times we ate in Thailand. The food was delivered to the table very fast. We didn't have to wait much.The quality and quantity compliments the price we paid. The staff were proactive, friendly and polite. Sujitra was serving our table. She was quick with the service. There was slight delay in bringing our dessert( because it is made to order) but she let us know what was going on and if we were willing to wait or order an alternative. I think its good customer service when you are given a solution/alternative to fix the situation rather than just apologizing for it. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurant in town.

So we tried this new place in Masdar city and the least we can say “fantastic”. Everything was so good, food was amazing and so tasty, we ordered 3 authentic Thai dishes 1- pad thai chicken, 2- green curry with chicken, and 3- stir-fried chicken, and we enjoyed them all. Ambiance is so good, cosy and very calm place. Staff was professional as well, service is good, waiters did a great job and kudos for the chef. I personally asked for some changes in the dishes and the chef did an amazing job. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner at this place and we are definitely coming back again and again. Furthermore, the owner is so nice, she had a small talk with us and followed up our order step by step. Here are some photos for this lovely night

MUST TRY!!! This restaurant is 'The Best' Thai because of its authentic Thai taste. I have tried many Thai food places, this one exceeded my expectations by far. The menu offers a good combination of meat/veg/salad/soup along with drinks/dessert. The service was hospitable, with aesthetic seating, welcoming decor, and lastly, mouth-watering dishes. The only thing I'd change is probably the size of the drinks (should be a little bigger). Will try this place again!

Incredibly charming atmosphere, every corner shows attention to details and love of its owners, from wall paintings to tap knobs. Amazing personnel, welcoming with a genuine smile and ready to share suggestions. Menú has a wide variety of dishes and is pretty easy to navigate through as it has both English +Thai titles. Food is super delicious, pad thai & mango sticky rice left my heart melted honestly, it tasted authentic and simply Thai as if my friends and me were visiting a local restaurant somewhere in Bangkok=) Val

Good Thai food restaurant in Masdar city. Nice ambience and good place to have a calm evening with your friends and family. Food quality was good, but definitely not the best Thai food restaurants in Abu Dhabi Ambience was good for a casual evening Price was reasonable for a dining experience. Adding some discounts would be helpful to try again. Otherwise it felt like a place that I would visit one time Overall, definitely must try place with a casual, street food type experience

This is a great find! The thai dishes are authentically and unapologetically true to taste. The flavors are bold and balanced, just as what you’d find in Bangkok. Very glad to find they have a great selection of Isan style dishes here. So happy that their tea are Cha Tra Mue brand. They even have bubble tea of the same theme. Decor is charmingly cosy. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking is underground which is thankfully a good shelter from the heat. This site used to be Sumo in Masdar.

Just super happy to have authentic Thai cuisine and minus the aginamoto effect. So much healthier. The Thai green curry and fried fish starter are super delicious. Ingredients are fresh. I call it home cooked Thai dishes.

The food is amazing and super tasty but the service and atmosphere makes Simly Thai an outstanding restaurant! Everything is done in a short time and all the staff is smiling and welcoming. Amazing people. Definitely my favourite place around the area!

Excellent place in Masdar. One of the best staff and guides in food preference really well. Food is good, portions could be made slightly bigger, hopefully, will be in the future. I loved the beef fried rice. Been here more than a few times.

Supremely good, authentic Thai food in a modern, comfortable atmosphere. The ingredients and food are better than anything I can find in the US! I came here every day on my 4-day trip to Abu Dhabi!
