I used to love coming to this Shoppers, and would have then given a five star review. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the store had everything I needed! However, I've noticed that since the introduction of the self-serve checkout kiosks, customer service has GREATLY declined. Now, staff literally force you to use the self-serve kiosks and will actively ignore you or not even acknowledge your presence if they are at the till and you're waiting in line. I've overheard other customers ask to use cashier services for various reasons, and they are redirected to the kiosks if they're using debit/credit. I enjoy having the option of self-service, but I would not like to be forced to use it. I believe that this is just poor practice in customer service.

Spouse went in to buy a few things and came out angry regarding the interaction with cashier. Cashier once again forcing people to use self serve. Cashier then found it appropriate to argue with my spouse insisting people will be given other jobs in construction or technology. They would rather fix machines and not touch money. Perhaps the cashier should find a job elsewhere and let people who don’t mind money work a cashier job! People will lose jobs I don’t think it is good costumer service for someone who should be thankful to have a job to argue, perhaps this store this store is doing so well they don’t need our money!

About a year ago my aunty recieved pre paid gift cards from here the cards were faulty (no pin under the scratch surface). This year she was sold newer "fixed cards" the sales associate incorrectly followed procedure (see reciept), and for this they don't work. Now the manager and clerk refuse to sort this out. They want my aunt to call head office and do it herself. You guys failed the onus is on you to correct this. You guys have turned what was supposed to be the gift of convenience into a travesty of inconvenience. You have failed as a team. Do not sell products your too incompetent to support please.

Was called at 530 to pick up my sons rx. I got there 535 because I live 5 mins away. Waited over 25 mins ti finally pick up. I ask a few questions if the dose is fine for his age because it seemed a lot. The pharmacists stays seated at her desk about 12 feet away from me announcing to the entire store how many times my son has had these antibiotics so i should know how often to give him the doses and how far apart. Last time he had it was April/May overlapping so I wouldn't even remember and her telling me this doesn't even answer what I was asking. Garbage. What happened to patient confidentially.

These guys are useless. Went in for my wife’s prescription pain meds, we came here straight from the hospital where she just got out of surgery. There’s a 4 hour wait for prescriptions because all they want to do is give out Covid Vaccines and covid tests. My wife needs to take her meds within 2 hours and is now in a lot of pain and I was told to come back in four hours as they are really busy. The people in line to get there Vaccines or Covid Tests (who should have been vaccinated by now anyway) should be pushed back not the people in to get pain medication. GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Prescriptions are NEVER ready. Called 2 hours before arriving? Still not ready. Used the app to refill prescriptions the night before? Still not ready. It is IS ready for pick? Great! Half the order is missing because they don’t have your medicine in stock so you’ll have to come back later. Booked my work-related Covid vax yesterday, today they tell me the system was broken. Meanwhile my whole team was vaccinated today! I’m done. I just moved all my prescriptions to Rexall. Save yourself the aggravation and do the same.

Left my prescription with them and was told to come in 3 hours. Showed up after 3 hours. The guy could not find my prescription for 5 minutes and once he found it he told me it is not ready yet. I demanded to have it right away and he said he needs 10 minutes. Went around corner and checked on him. He kept serving other people not informing anyone to look after my prescription. I went back and asked him to return my prescription. He started searching for it and after good 2-3 minutes going through a huge pile of paperwork.

Usually I have a good time shopping at Shopper's. Although, I was absolutely appalled when I went in for my prescription yesterday and asked the Pharmacist to help me figure out how to properly take my medication and she said to "read the instructions"...This is a part of your job, to supply your clients with the information needed to properly take their medication. Sometimes we need a little clarification. I don't think that was very professional, and made me feel like I should already know and that I'm incompetent.

The Pharmacy 1 Star $30 Strep Throat Tests. They have very limited options to perscribe and they charge King Tut expensive prices for tests. Would not perscribe. Misleading advertisements. Really disappointing experience. The Store 3 Stars Great prices on 6 packs of bottled pop, expecially on weekends. Some products are priced fairly and others much higher. Items on the discount reduced to clear shelf are priced way higher than they should be which doesn't make sense. Manager is cool and helpful.

Shoppers Drug Mart is convenient and well designed. What I mean about being well designed is that it’s easy to get around and pleasing to the eyes. I find that its a little pricey but if you pay attention to the sales and you should have the PC Optimum card for the 20x points on Saturdays and other bonus products you can add up the points fast and get a great rewards you can spend at Shoppers or any other Loblaws store like Superstore. I will continue to come here as I like what Shoppers has.

We really like our shoppers drug Mart. I like that the turnover is minimal and it’s the same staff members that I have seen there for many years now and I enjoy being able to ask the pharmacy. Any questions I have pertaining to my kids or when I am pregnant or generalities. I will say sometimes the staff members perhaps are a little bit loud or joke around a little bit too much but I understand that you have to have fun once in a while and try to keep a positive and lighthearted environment.

I am writing wrt the behaviour of the pharmacy staff, I visited the store today and was looking for a specific medication. The girl working at the time did not even consider me important to address.There was no one there and still she did not help me with my issues and continued to talk on phone. Then I myself kept looking for the specific medicine and the philippine lady was soo rude. You guys need to change your staff as they do know how to treat their customers. So rude staff!

I like going here because it's close to my home and always has what I need. My complaint is: I am not sure what's going on with the phone there. I have been trying to call the pharmacy but you never reach someone and the number is usually busy when you try calling. If there is a problem it would be nice to know because people relying on getting a prescription when it's needed especially when you can't drive there due to a medical condition. I hope they fix this problem.

Terrible pharmacy. They can never fill your prescription while you wait. Always have to come back in a couple hours. If you call in the morning for a refill they still need hours to fill it. Horrible service. Every other place I have gone it's a 15 minute wait to fill a prescription. Time to change where I fill my medication. Guardian drugs in Clareview is fantastic. Helpful, informative, and fast. Changed to this location because of moving to new area. MISTAKE!!!!!!

Today I went to buy products. Left the store and realized I was charged full price for 1 item and when I went to get the price adjusted I was refused. I was told we dont do refunds or exchanges on Boxing Day. Even though I had just bought it and it was clearly their mistake. Really Rude service. I was made to feel like I had something something wrong. Which I didn't. I will never shop at this location again. And I will be sure to tell everyone I know.

Do not like being forced to use the self checkout. It's not that I don't use them in different situations but I was buying a lotto ticket and was in a bit of a hurry. Instead of letting me just pay she went behind the counter got the Lotto came back around and manually entered into the self kiosk even after I said I didn't want to, besides the fact their screens are not very user friendly. I will be avoiding this location in the future.

I really enjoyed shopping here for a few years, sadly they continue to have self checkout and have noticed that often the checkout cashiers are busy trying to stock while you wait for service. I now spend my time at a Rexall in the area as the cashiers are quick to attend. I will never use self checkout as long as I am not paid to do the cashiers job. I believe in personal interaction and good customer service.

I watched a girl get kicked out of shoppers yesterday for not wearing a mask. Every single employee was telling her to leave as if she had a bomb or something. She told them she had a medical exemption and their response was “we don’t take that in to consideration here” you don’t take someone’s health in to consideration there? Yet you are a drug store..... Makes sense. What a sad world we live in.

Bought a box of candy canes today from this location and when I opened them, every single one was broken. The customer service here is almost non-existant. I wanted to buy stamps (which you can't do from the self serve check-out) and most of the time, self-serve check out is the only option as they rarely have someone manning the tills. Good luck if you need help! This locations is just the worst!

Came in on Sat to get a prescription for my son, the tech was very rude, she did not go over the dosage, or how to store it, etc.... I just got told that he has had it before, and that was all. She also seemed irritated that I was making her do her job. I will not be coming back to this location for the pharmacy, and even though I like the rest of the store, I will probably not be coming back.

Just left after dealing with the pharmacy staff. I understand it was busy and they are under stress, but that does not excuse the unprofessional behaviour that I witnessed. The individual who sorted my medication was publicly chastising her co-workers and was overall A REAL PIECE OF WORK. The people in line appeared shocked at the level of toxicity on display. I will not go back. A joke.

I went to the shoppers for digital picture but i forgot my wallet at home. I told the lady that i will be back and she agreed. When i came back she said that you are 15 minutes late . We do pictures till 9 only. Although she had the key and she can do the picture but still she denied to do that. I requested her that i need pictures urgent but she didn’t help us. I am giving one star for the one of the pharmacy team Ravneet , she is very arrogant and never help you . She think she is the only boss who always refuse to help . On the other side the lady from Philippines I believe she is so down to earth always give her best to help . She always recommends us medicine that are good and reasonable. She always give response if you have any questions

I love this location, there very friendly and helpful. Especially the time I was in the makeup section and Danielle helped me out. I was looking for cover up and some other stuff and she went above and beyond explaining everything and what products I might like and she was just super great at her job! I would highly recommend this location and if you need makeup she’s your girl!

Worst pharmacy. Always a wait of 45 minutes or more no matter what time of day. Called once had to wait an hour for it to be ready. When I got there the lady told me they didn't have my prescription in stock so they transferred everything somewhere else. Do you yourself a favour and get your meds at Rexall 167 because they will fill your order immediately and not waste your time.

horrible service! i saw a little girl who looked about 8-9 years old getting accused of stealing, when they asked her to empty out her pockets, NOTHING! i was asking for help on picking a lip gloss, i found one i really liked, the lady had audacity to say how i looked like i couldn't afford it! never coming back to the hollick kenyon branch again! would rate zero stars!

Pilot Sound Shoppers is my “go to” pharmacy. Even after moving out of the area I still travel back to them. Chad and some of the ladies in the pharmacy are fantastic to deal with. Discreet and efficient, they are always in stock with everything a person needs and with there location being right next to a grocery store in makes things easy for one stop shopping.

I was refused service today. Even though I'm fully vaccinated, legally qualify for the medical exemption under the city bylaw and was going to use the self check out. I was even berated by the store manager in front of people in the store. All of the this because i wasn't wearing a mask even though I'm legally medically exempt. I did share this on social media.

Greatest staff and Manger sorry for this but I believe he is the best, for helping when asked l have been to a lot of shoppers in the the city and in my opinion, this is the best of the best! Worst customer service ever, lady at the till was not friendly. I went there for passport pictures around 8pm. She said come back tomorrow at 10 Even though it does not say online they close at 8pm for pictures then i went to the clairview shoppers the cashier was very friendly he even did our pictures at 8:45pm. Will never to go back to this location.

My name is Marwan Taha I've been going to this Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmacy for about 10 years. I've been getting my prescriptions for me and my family there never had any problems or any issues. The staff their very nice and the pharmacist and owner Chad Edmonds he's professional and amazing person definitely I recommend this location.

The store is great to shop in I have never had a problem with the store staff. But this review is for the pharmacy I had to wait two days to get my medication. Was told to be ready that afternoon. Either the pharmacy is understaffed or not properly managed to run efficiently. Went elsewhere an only wait 10 mins to get prescription now.

I always shop here, it is clean and well-stocked store, never had any problems here. Lady at the cash register today was very talkative and friendly, but dropped the F bomb right in front of me while processing my transaction, really awkward. She wasn't trying to be rude, but seemed unaware of her unprofessional actions.

I had a rude experience with this one sale girl in the perfumes section. I would not be visiting this shoppers. I asked her to help me with a perfume. I told her specifically i like this kind of smell and she replies “Kind of like an old smell”. I love shoppers but this one person really changed my perspective.

I went to the pharmacy dept to purchase some medicine I found what I wanted and went to pay at the self check out a employee followed me out of the store watched me get into my truck and than stared at me as though I didn't pay for the product and returned back into store ...this place deserves a zero star

Went in to fill prescription and was told it will be ready after 2 hours. My husband went in after 2.5 hrs and still the prescription was not filled. Total disorganization behind the counter. I have had another shoppers fill my prescription in 20 mins with 3 people behind the counter.

Very poor managed pharmacy and cashiers, call hours ahead for a pick up and still waiting 30 minutes so they can make it, whats the reason for calling in. And the cashier just doing busy work, pretending to work while nothing is be accomplished just so people use the self checkouts.

Went here today at shoppers and noticed that there check out is closed . The lady told me I had to use the self checkouts. Myself a customer like to support jobs and refused to use a self checkout. If they want them I will take my business elsewhere. Normally a nice place to shop

I use this Shoppers regularly for our prescriptions, and I get most of my makeup here, and often end up shopping for some food & household stuff. They're not a Beauty Boutique location but they have most of what I need. Pharmacy & store staff have always been helpful and polite.

Staff is absolutely amazing, always very welcoming and are able to help me with whatever I need. Never had a problem here and even in emergencies the staff was always able to help and help me get whatever I need. Always very clean and organized as well. Would reccomend

Pharmacy: have been here many times, on different days and times. Very slow service on every occasion. Need to wait to drop off prescription, then wait at least 45 min to an hour, then wait again to pick up the drugs. Beyond ridiculous, poorly managed pharmacy.

It takes 4-5 hours for this pharmacy to fill a prescription. The hospital sent in the prescription one hour before before my mom was discharged. We show up and it will still be a 4-5 hour wait for important medication. Unbelievable!!

Due to medical physical limitations I can't wear a mask. They waited until I was at the register before mentioning wearing one and THEN REFUSED SERVICE WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS UNABLE TO WEAR ONE!! Classless, prejudiced and rude.

Chad, Natalia, Tina, Leslie, and the whole pharmacy team are so incredible. We've been going to see them for years, they have come to our rescue so many times. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.

Cashiers are super unfriendly and rude. No knowledge, judgmental, lots of mistakes... I would only go because its the closest. They tell me non-sense to avoid for coupon using. This is the only Shoppers does it.

This location always sell expired food items with discount meanwhile other locations discount soon to be expired food item. Always check for expire date for food items that you purchase from this location.
