To whom it may concern, It disappoints me to have to write this feedback. The lack of communication, the constant chasing of information, the numerous store visits, has all led to a very bad experience with Shiels. January 2017 I purchased an engagement ring from your rundle mall, regent arcade store in Adelaide. I had the ring resized to what i thought would fit my partners finger. However I didnt resize it small enough. Hence, yet another resize. Apon getting the ring back my partner wasnt sure about the proportion of the ring, it didnt look the same as before. After a little while two of the claws holding the diamond were moving. One had come off of the diamond completely. I dont believe that the claws should be able to move so freely?! With concern yet again back to the store, this time to have the ring looked at. The staff proceeded to tell us it was our fault! What did we do? This only happens if your being rough, or exercising with weights, lifting heavy boxes. We must've been doing something! - none of these activities took place. But your staff REFUSED to listen. They kept telling us its all our fault. Whilst having it looked into and repaired we asked for yet again another resize as my partner was finding the ring to be loose. The ring had lost its shape. Once again the staff informing us that this was also our fault. After being spoken to in the way we were, we were left to be made feel like we didnt know anything, That we were idiots! The ring came back after a couple of weeks looking the way it did when it was first purchased. Everything looked fine. A huge relief! My partner refusses to wear this ring to work to avoid the same issue reoccurring , and yet here we are again with the same claw problem. But this time the claw has snapped OFF.... She has worn it half a dozen times if im lucky. I paid $1,200 for a ring that now has to sit in its box because its flimsy, THE CLAWS SHOULDNT BE MOVING. To add insult, we were only just recently told that the ring fault was marked as - due to the "consumer". We've had conflicting feedback from several of your store staff. Some are willing to listen and offer honest feedback, be supportive and considerate. Yet another store played the blame game. What we would like is some answers. This ring was only purchased less than 7 months ago. What a disappointment!

Took 1 look at me & said someone will be w you in a moment She was more interested in putting Toe ring to put them on display & so some other women and served me So I explained the situation AGAIN to her that i bought my ring in for a Quote only & that someone would ring me........ And the woman look at me like I was DUMB & she said are you sure that no one has rung you OR emailed you & my response was NO. So after getting no where I just left really annoyed After leaving the store I happen to get a phone call & the lady stated. Ohh we have your ring her and it already re sized..... NOW I definitely did't give them permission to do that when I wanted a QUOTE ONLY first & so I went back & got charged $45 & I didnt even get a apology for there stuff up I have now got a ring that still slips off my finger .... I will NEVER shop at Shiels again as I thought I would give them a go. And the shiels down at harbour town did the exactly did the same thing same thing. BUT at least they offer me something to exchange for there muck up & i did get a apology But I would however like to compliment a lady that originally served me, she was fantastic she listened, she even said that the job should have never been carried out in the first place with out your knowledge NOT even worth the 1 star rating

I just had a bad experience in this store now. I went to Shiels Rundle mall (close to kmart) at 11:30 AM 19/10/2022 and was treated like rubbish by the manager (the woman with a short hair). I was looking for changing my mother's necklace, which was too small for her neck. However, this woman was in hurry and kind of did not want to talk to me (maybe because of my accent or I am a man). The original pure gold necklace was $120 and I wanted to change for something with similar cost, she didnt check it and got a chain (in very hurry) which costs more than $400 and I said it was too expensive, and she said so why are you after a pure gold, but the pure gold necklace I bought before was much cheaper. She did not care to search something in my budget, she only wanted to get rid of me. I told her directly that I did not like her and wanted to talk to someone else, she said she was the manager and was alone there. Imagine you working as an employee in this store and having this woman as a manager. She was super gross and rude. I my opinion, she was not supposed to be working directly with the public.

I just left after waiting for over 25 minutes for a staff member. Two people pushed in front, the lady that was free said she worked for 'head office' and can't help as it's not her job! Another worker was helping a mother/daughter duo who kept looking at everything and just taking their sweet time. Another older lady was helping a man who pushed in front; the worker was going at a snail pace. I called the head office lady over after standing for ages. she told me to blame covid and then said blame staff shortages..... But then her friend rocked up with her son, and she was eager to help them and have a chat. totally unprofessional, and you lost a big sale.. We ended up walking out. I'd be embarrassed if this was my business, and someone from head office was acting this way. yikes!

Customer service was very minimal. Workers were more interested in doing their little jobs behind the counter. Had to ask to be helped, to which was very minimal. Didn't bother asking about occassion or even provide pieces as options. Entire experience I had to lead and initiate, which is a bit difficult when you don't know what is available. Server didn't even bother asking what kind of chain I wanted- gold, silver, length. Pretty much had to ask all myself. Overall with the interaction it felt as I was working there rather than the server. Customer service was bland and not friendly or helpful at all. Will be avoiding this location in the future.

Ordered iconic 2019th watch Casio G-Shock Carbon Core Guard (A1 model with Neobrite hands). Though I ordered at that time listed price, item went on sale within 24 hrs. Bug...er... No problem, sales team acknowledged the situation and promptly refunded a difference. Price guarantee in retrospect indeed. Fast despatch to Victoria. Highly recommend a retailer as well as a watch. Probably the best Casio GS model ever.

As a avid jewellery collector and obsessed wearer of anything and everything gold, fine to chunky and large, shiels is an amazing store with absolutely incredible jewellery and even more incredible price points. Customer service is absolutely top notch. With every purchase your items are beautifully cleaned up and bagged or boxed beautifully and you will always be welcomed with open arms. Highly recommend

It was not so pleasant shopping day at sheils located at Myers Bought a wrist watch, service was pathetic,it was an Asian middle aged lady who was just not interested ,while I was looking out for more options she was tapping her fingers totally disinterested made me feel like a nobody. Please fwd this feedback to that Asian middle aged lady. She needs to learn how to respect and value customers.

The staff are very helpful and kind in this shiels branch and advise you on what suits you the best. They told me that what I am after exist in the Myer Shiels branch, but I prefered to buy something else instead just to buy from them. I will love to go to this place with these helpful staff again.

Rang & asked them to put aside a watch that we viewed on there Web site. Called in a day later than arranged & the watch was still put aside for me. Price was discussed & agreed upon & purchased then with them adjusting the band so that I could wear it out of the shop. All in all very good service.

I asked for the fresh piece and not the display one as it was looking bit dusty and lady refused without even checking that its just one piece and in every store its just one and after an hour i passed by the store and in display she already had put the new model thats disgusting service

Didn’t give professional advice for fixing bracelet chains. After 3 weeks waiting, the chain was not fixed well. I came back to ask if they can adjust it, they asked for another $30 for fix. Terrible costumer service. Won’t come back again.

Went to buy a ring Rundle mall store and sales woman was so rude and judgemental she made her own price up and made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable . She pretty much made me shop elsewhere. Glad I did as I found a great bargain .

The offers were great but the sales lady was quite rude and arrogant. Will never opt this shop again. My previous experience with shop in Arndale and Myer center was pretty good. Will never visit this shop again
