I have certainly pushed doing this review for much too long. I knew it would be difficult to fully describe just how wonderful Libby is as a hairdresser... as well as a friend. I am so ecstatic that she has located herself at an incredible salon with such superb staff. Shear Image is definitely the best go-to place in the city. I’ve been going to her for a strong 6 years now. Even since moving a few hours out of Calgary. But this sweet woman is certainly worth every mile. She puts her whole heart into making every appointment with her an amazing experience. Everything from cut, colour to product knowledge. I’ve always been a perfectionist, and with going to a handful of hairdressers in my life, she’s the only one who makes sure I’m truly satisfied with every strand. I literally leave there happy every single time. And I constantly get compliments everywhere I go! The only part I’m ever sad about is having to wait weeks before seeing her again! She always makes me feel so cared for as an individual. It’s far more than just a great hair experience. I’ve been lucky enough to gain a phenomenal friend. I highly recommend her to anybody who is looking for a mane magician!

Libby has been my hair dresser for over 15 years and I always follow her wherever she goes. Her expertise in colour is phenomenal and she always gets me a hair style that I want. All you need is a picture of what you want and it's done just the way you want it. She's very talented in what she does and I highly recommend her to everyone I know. I really liked the atmosphere of the Shear Image Salon in Edgemont and I am super glad she moved there. I have been going to Shear Image for a very long time, and Libby has been my hairdresser for almost 20 years. She is a master stylist who listens to her clients needs, and exceeds their expectations with how she cuts, colors, and styles their hair. Libby is a consummate professional who provides her clients with product advice that helps their hair to stay healthy and looking great. If you are looking for a talented and personable stylist who takes pride in their work, Libby will be the perfect hairdresser for you. As well, the salon is very clean and takes the health and safety of their clients seriously. They cater to all age groups. I always enjoy my time at the salon.

I suppose if all you're looking for is a stylish haircut, then you should definitely visit Libby but if you're after subtle or striking colors.....come to think of it, Libby does that too.....but if you're the sort that wants a haircut and color like no one else, the kind that makes little kids not want to talk to you and makes police officers want to talk to you.....actually, hmmmm, Libby can do that as well. Did I mention there's also fresh baked cookies in the shop?!

Shear image has a warm and welcoming environment. As soon as you walk in the freshly baked cookies remind you of grandma’s house. No seriously they not only provide amazing hair cuts, colour, updos and scalp pampering but treat you like you are family!! If you haven’t tried it yet you are missing out. They have 8 stylist to choose from ranging in experience from a few years to almost over 30 years. It’s a hidden gem no doubt.

Shear Image well I don't go there for a hair cut, but my wife does and she has nothing but praise and great things to say about her hair stylist (VERONICA- RONNIE ). AS my wife says this lady keeps up the growing trends in hair styling and there nothing that she can't do, so people try for yourselves and you be the judge. Eventually I'm gonna go and see Ronnie for myself

Love this place! This salon has a very relaxed and positive vibe. Greeted by friendly staff, coffee and cookies. My stylist is Libby who is always incredible! I've always loved what she does with my hair. She's such a fun person and is very professional. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a flawless cut and color.

Libby jest wspaniała! Jej praca jest jej pasją co przekłada się na obsługę i to co potrafi wyczarować. Mam bardzo gęste włosy, wiec wymagają więcej pielęgnacji i znajomosci tematu żeby można było zrobić z nimi coś fajnego. Libby bezbłędnie potrafi położyć kolor i ściąć tak aby same się układały. Bardzo polecam!

This is a great place the food is incredible the best Indian cuisine that I have had in a real long time I would recommend this place to you need to come in and check them out for your self you will not be disappointed the staff is incredible as well the restaurant is also very clean

My first appointment with Libby netted an amazing new cut that I got a ton of compliments on teamed with a beautiful brunette color that looked so natural. The other day I wanted a change and now sport a amazing rich auburn shade perfect for fall/winter. Highly recommended!

Herman is amazing!!!!! I have been trying for decades for someone to bleach my hair correctly and he gets it perfectly every time! And he’s super nice and always listens to what you want unlike some hair dressers who have a mind of their own. Herman is the best!!!!

Very clean and sanitary which is super important especially in a time like this. Libby was incredible, super friendly, thorough, and did exactly what I asked for and did it well! Will definitely be recommending this place and will definitely be coming back

I was pleased and satisfied with the precautions that have taken place here to ensure a safe experience during this time of pandemic. I have been here twice since the appearance of Covid 19 and both times I felt perfectly safe.

Amy is amazing! Can't wait to go back for highlights! She cut both mine and my daughter's hair this week and we will never book with anyone else! Super friendly and very mindful of the covid safety measures. 2 thumbs up!

Amazing people. Libby did my hair and I was totally satisfied. She even called me the next day to see if I was still happy or if I needed any changes to my dye job or haircut. How much better can it get?

Herman's been my go to stylist in Shear Image. Professional, good looking, fun to talk to, reasonably priced. Would recommand. He is usually very busy, so make sure to book an appointment far ahead.
