I entered the salon with long, healthy hair and left with with damaged, broken hair and an uneven cut. The service started badly and got progressively worse. The application of my highlights was harsh and rushed.. When it was time for the bleach to be washed out, there was no available sink. My stylist pulled the foils out of my hair and vigorously scrubbed the bleach out with a towel. Eventually, a sink was available to wash out the top section of my hair. Because my hair had been rubbed so much with the towel, my hair was incredibly tangled. Getting the knots out was so painful that I had to put my hands to my head to stop her. The amount of hair that was pulled out of that brush was perhaps most upsetting of all - there was so much of my hair pulled out of that brush, it was as if you hadn't cleaned out your hairbrush in months and months. That was when I asked to brush my own hair and I wish I had done that sooner. Finally, it was time for the cut and I was so relieved. However, there was another client waiting and I got the impression that my hairdresser had been told to hurry. There was no precision, inches just snipped away and any further knots caught in the comb were just cut off! My hair has been completely ruined. I have attached photos for anyone thinking of visiting Shadi salon to see the hair breakage and awful cut and I hope this will help someone avoid making the same mistake that I did.

I travel to London frequently and more than not have my hair cut here. I have been to many of the recommended establishments from the local to the high end. By accident I came across Shadi one morning as he was opening his new salon. I thought, "What do I have to lose-- let's give him a try." And boy, am I glad I did. Shadi is the consummate professional and an extremely talented stylist/barber. He worked for over a year at one of the high end shops and own his own shop in Kuwait . . . this is one talented man. He cares for his client every step of the way-- from the cut which he meticulously does to the hot towels, the massage . . . simply amazing. And he wants to be sure you leave pleased and will do everything in his power to be sure you do. You can pay a lot more but will never get the attention and service that Shadi offers. I am extremely particular about my haircuts and can say Shadi is the best-- in London and anything I have had in the US. I liked the cut and experience so much I texted my partner and told him to get over here and get a cut now from this guy. He did and was never happier with the cut, the shave, and the experience. If you have any doubts, throw them aside and get to Shadi Salon. You will be extremely pleased you did-- and I'd even give you a refund if you weren't pleased. Ok that is generous but you know what I mean-- he is a pro. *****

Full hair colour low light cut treatment - full works! I don't normally bother to leave reviews but these people really looked after me well and my colourist/stylist Ms.Ghaliya is a gem! Friendly, smiley, energetic but most importantly knows her trade and is a pro. I loved her ideas and what results she produced - I went in a blank canvass and she made her art! Special thank you to Mr.Shadi also - although we've not met, you kindly notified your staff to accommodate my particular situation of requiring privacy by screening whilst being worked on. VERY much appreciated that !! I know it must have been an odd request but your team rose to the occasion and challenge! Hope to meet you next time. Much appreciation to Ms Ghaliya for her skillful work.

THE BEST place in London. Oh my goodness, for 13 years I have been trying to get a decent nice blonde colour ( every time, and I mean every time I go I have left every salon with yellow hair OR after two days, brassy and yellow hair. I have paying a fortune to FOUR salon, Gielly Green to name a few and Steph who did my hair at Shadi simply is the best and know how to get that right cool blonde hair colour, I have never been so happy before and it wasn't even expensive! My only fear is that she will leave London because if so, I will need to travel to wherever she is to do my hair. She really is the best when it comes to blondes, thank you so so much Steph and see you in January. And thanks Shadi for such an amazing salon. Steph x

I did not have a great experience with the stylist nicholas. He messed up my hair pretty badly to the point where I was crying in the salon. However, Shadi was really understanding and invited me back to fix it. He has since compensated me by giving me a chance to come back whenever I need for a treatment. I am sadly still out of pocket a £600 as I still had to pay for my hair to be fixed at another salon but Shadi is very sorry for my treatment here and apologised for my experience. Just to let other customers know they do not have a refund policy so make sure you spend time with your stylist talking through what you want to achieve! I have attached photos of what my hair looked like when I left Shadi's salon yesterday.

What a wonderful salon and amazing staff. My hair is super-fine and has been falling out due to stress. My roots and colour were looking awful and my confidence was suffering. My usual colourist is away for some time, and I was frightened to go to a new salon. I couldn't believe how kind and understanding the staff were at Shadi Salon. Dimo did my colour: he was so patient and took time to understand what I like, and very gentle with my hair. The results are just lovely and I am so, so pleased. I met and talked with Shadi who was also incredibly understanding. I can't speak highly enough of the salon and will definitely be going back to Dimo for my colour. Five stars-plus. Thank you.

I had my toner done with Dimo and the final look is perfection! He was a great listener and very thorough when explaining how to get the desired outcome. He was also very gentle when working with my hair which is nice (been to a lot of salons that move quick at the expense of your comfort e.g. getting water all over you in the sink, combing hair too aggressively, not applying toner properly so you end up with patchy color but that was not the case with Dimo). I’m so happy with the end outcome and looking forward to my next visit - thank you again Dimo

I have gone to get a hair cut plus style for 55 pounds. It looked all fine as it was blow dried first time. After few days when I straightened it, the layers on my hair were not blend and it was very bad layers which was different lengths. I went back to get a refund which i was refused about several times. Very unhappy customer and deffo do not recommend them for that price to get hair ruined! Their response towards my complain was not to shout although I was not and their response was not showing any understanding towards their mistake or my feelings!

I had full head highlights, cut and blowdry from Dimo. He is a magician. I had been attempting at home highlights and colour over lockdown and had very stripy colour as a result. Dimo corrected the highlights and tone. He was very charming and didn't make me feel bad about the state of my hair when I came in . The cut and blowdry were also brilliant. With a few simple snips he managed to maintain my hair length but remove the weight of what had felt like a dated style. I felt like a new person emerging from the salon a fre hours later! Thanks Dimo!

I got my hair done at Shadi Salon recently and I love the result! I asked for a warm tone full head balayage and its exactly what I wanted. My hair was previously dyed dark brown and its usually really hard to achieve a lighter colour with a dark base but they managed to get the exact colour that I wanted. They finished it off with a treatment, haircut and blow dry. My hair felt so fresh and healthy and the treatment they used lasted longer than i thought it would. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the service and the results.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time... they have delivered a professional, accommodating and precise service every time. If anything my haircuts look better every time I come. They are very well skilled and very precise with their skills and are also very friendly and professional. Finally the salon cleanliness is always on top and had NO issues returning after the reopening due to COVID. They do also wear for PPE for the COVID. Definitely recommend this place, precise and fantastic stylists at a GREAT VALUE!

I'm 38 and have always struggled with my hair, never knew what to do or how to style. Stumbled upon Shadi by mistake and decide to try it out. Now I travel into London every time to get my hair done. Shadi himself is absolutely amazing at what he does! You don't just get a hair cut, you get pampered and treated like a gentleman, from special hair treatments to noise hair waxing, which was a first for me but not the last! Cool guy, awesome place and excellent music. I double you'll find any place better.

Visited Shadi salon today - got lucky to get an appointment on the bank weekend! Had a glossing which made my hair smooth and bouncy, and a nice toner to get brassy tones out of my hair to make it nice and ashy again. Both treatment and colour were done perfectly and by wery friendly guys. Plus head massage - ooh la la! ;) They use amazing and rare hair products of Kevin Murphy. All in all - great place with joyful and relaxed atmosphere, professional and creative people working there. Thanks Ali!

I have been looking for a good hair salon for ages and tried this salon out for the first time (seeing it had the best rating). I had my haircut done by Lauren. She was kind, friendly and very professional. She talked me through my haircut and cut my hair exactly how i asked her to, to the length i wanted. I am not a fan of short hair BUT i love this haircut! Couldn't be happier. I am thankful to Lauren and would definitely recommend this salon. I am most certainly coming back!

I was a returning customer, however this time the cut is a disaster. When they blow dry you cannot see just how bad it is, but after washing it - no style, odd ends everywhere, no bounce and must be corrected. Contacted the salon for a correction- not only do not acknowledge the complaint but charging an additional £50. For that I will go to a different salon and risk have to have a much shorter cut because there is already little left to work with. Utterly disappointed!

Omgoshhh my hair looks and feels amazing. My sister and I found them while walking on a side street off of Regent street near Oxford Circus and decided to go in. They gave us same day appointments(four hours later but worth the wait). Love the cleanliness, vibe and products they use. Dimo is amazing I wish he was in the US! His technique is great and the bangs fit my face perfectly. He would be my only stylist if I lived here in London!

Amazing! My hairstylist was Stephania, I went to the salon for a radical change for me (I wanted to get a fringe for the first time). I showed her a couple of pictures and understood exactly what I wanted. The haircut was perfectly executed and I really love it. She was also very nice and the hair wash was very relaxing. Also, I was impressed by the low price, considering the location, quality and professionalism. I completely recommend it!!

I had a bad experience on my first visit with Nicholas but after few days Shadi called me to return to the salon and see Asia. Wow!! It was a difference experience overall. What a lovely lady, she is super professional and experienced hair stylist. I felt very confident leaving my hair on her hands :) She did her magic and my hair looks much better now. I am happy with the haircut but I made a reservation at 18:30. They made me wait for almost half an hour, no drinks and no magazines offered, no heads-up over the delay and no explanation as how long I have to wait whatsoever. These are really the basics of decent customer service and apparently they don’t have. Hence I will give three stars until they improve their customer services

My friend spent £275 and received a poor haircut and a worse dye job. She had to spend even more money getting it fixed at another salon and Shadi refused to give her a refund or even a discount. From seeing what they did to her hair and how much she paid I wouldn't go to this place or recommend it to anyone else. You can find pictures of what they did to her hair in her review.

Just out of the salon and couldn’t be more happier with my hairdresser, Asiya Took a chance after my regular salon had permanently closed, went online and saw Shadi Salon had great reviews so booked an appointment. They were all so accommodating and kind. Not only was Asiya quick, the results were impeccable, and she made for great conversation! Really great work, thank you.

Super professional and offered a great consultation at the start and gave me lots of tips and tricks for looking after my hair. I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Maurizio. He sat down and took the time to listen to what I wanted and the result was PERFECT! Highlights and a curly blowdry. Maurizio is super friendly and very good at his job. The complimentary drinks are also a bonus. The other staff (I didn't get their names) were also incredibly friendly. I can't wait to return!

I absolutely love this salon. I’ve been 4+ times over the last year and have loved how my hair has turned out every time. Mateusz is amazing for blonde highlights – very professional, does exactly what I like (and suggests new options when relevant) and does everything possible to make sure my hair stays healthy. My hair was cut four inches shorter than what was told. My long beautiful hair is now super short which doesn't suit my face at all. :( Really surprised that this place has such good reviews, makes me wonder if they are fake reviews, as when I went to the salon I didn't need an appointment and it was empty the whole time!

My second time here - great atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, spacious and clean, good music. Asia was fantastic - very friendly, high skilled, patient and professional. Such a sweet lady. It was my first time at Shadi’s saloon today, and I loved it! I have a stubborn curly hair that tends to get frizzy after styling it, and I asked Dimo for a wavy hairstyle. It was perfect! It’s not frizzy at all, and it looks like as if it’s my natural hair. Definitely would visit again!

in 9 years bleaching my hair it never happened to me that my hair would simply fall off after the bleach. And it happened here after only one brief visit. if u are blond, avoid it. now my hair looks so bad that the only solution is to cut it short. And I had a very long hair.

Friendly staff, fast appointment did not need to call and there was no waiting time, really fast but amazing cut. The guy who cutted my hair was really accurate and careful! Over all really good. Only minus was that you need to pay in cash because the card machine was broke.
