"Nice neighbourhood mall with two anchor tenant - Aeon MaxValue and Mr"
"It was a cinema decades ago and many old folks must still have sweet memories of their nostalgic social interaction"
"Easy to park shopping mall, small selection of food but good quality restaurants, nice gym "
"Located in Section 17, hence the name, Seventeen Mall"
Went to get my groceries and a few stuff from diy. Recent place & not crowded. The only problem is the parking ticket machine. Unfortunately I had insufficient balance in my tng, and waited for about 15minutes at the entry as nobody answered the intercom. Luckily I tried all the buttons on the machine, one by one and finally found out that I could change it to the normal ticket mood (button tu logo visa /masters if im not mistaken, so lagi confusing). Would be nice you y'all can put a proper sign at the machine (for those with insufficient tng balance).
Nice neighbourhood mall with two anchor tenant - Aeon MaxValue and Mr. DIY. A few restaurants are already open now with choice of Penang food, Vietnamese, Japanese, Hot Pot and Pan Mee. Aaron MaxValue also offer some noodle shop, bakery, non halal food and a cooking station inside. A few other shops like optical shop, hair saloon, toys r us, Skechers , times bookshop are also here. All in all, it’s a small but effective mall if you know what you want to get. If you have nothing to do, can come and hang around here.
It was a cinema decades ago and many old folks must still have sweet memories of their nostalgic social interaction. It was burnt down at the dawn of the new century and it was kept as parking space. Wet market and dry market are also held for different period. It was only until recently that the project of residence plus small commercial centre was planned and the seventeen mall is then created. However, the lack of interesting shop lot and the exorbitant car park rate raises doubt for the promotion of a new hub.
Easy to park shopping mall, small selection of food but good quality restaurants, nice gym . They used to have an Aeon supermarket but it has closed down about 2 weeks ago. I think someone is coming to take over the place but not sure what kind of business it will be. They also have Cookhouse on the first floor to eat some good bah kut teh as well as char siew/siew yoke/chicken rice. There is a lucky mala noodle shop with very good noodle soups from non spicy to super spicy. Worth a try !
Located in Section 17, hence the name, Seventeen Mall. This is built on the lot that was occupied previously by Sentosa Cinema. Rather small and mostly empty except for a few restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, optician, gym and grocery. They have recently added wall murals along the entrance walls which are good for a quick selfie. There are depictions of Kopitiam, paper and metal recycling, kedai runcit, etc. There is also an A&W outlet here decorated in 60s style with a jukebox
Another unnecessary mall built on public space where a local market and football field once was. None of the stores or supermarket Aeon offer any real value to the local community here. Thanks to the corrupt MBPJ council for destroying yet another green lung and getting away with it. Aeon has closed down, a clear sign that this montrosity is not suitable for the local community. Kudos to the corrupt PKR/DAP Council.
Great food and even better coffee. The sourdough toast was served with real butter and generous with the homemade cranberry jam. Apple strudel has too much raisins and no as much apple as inold have liked it. Espresso was rich, dense and clean; a blend rather the single origin I suspect as tones were muted. My 3rd time here and quality and friendly service was consistent. Kudos to the owners.
Food, groceries, gym, and a Mr. DIY. What more could you want from the neighbourhood mall? The apartments are an eyesore though. Can you really build a mall+condo in the middle of a terrace housed neighborhood? Is this how Malaysia's zoning laws work? The person who approved this building for construction should be investigated for corruption, and then crucified – verdict non-withstanding.
A quiet neighbourhood mall. Its quite small, with residential condominium upstairs. It complements the surrounding shoplots and a morning market and evening food street, which have been around for many decades. Seventeen Mall grocery supermarket is still closed. The location was once the Sentosa Cinema. This area remains vibrant as a little township in Petaling Jaya.
Located at the food paradise of Section 17, it would have gotten only 3 stars if it wasn't for the fact that around the vicinity serves one of PJ's most delicious food stalls and coffee shops. It has only two levels with limited stores...Mr DIY and AEON supermarket anchors the whole place. Other stores are very very limited. Nothing much to walk around here.
I'm not sure whether it's new but should be. Not many choices and the food court is actually very modern with ready to move in concept. However mostly empty except few high end restaurants that took up 2 lots of this readymade kitchen. Max Value premium under AEOn is here too. Same concept as jaya grocer, big or village grocer but with Aeon pricing
Seventeen Mall is a very small mall with a food court, a few cafes, an A&W outlet, a grocery store, a dental clinic, Mr. DIY, 2 hair saloons, and a few more shops. There are weekend markets from 10 am to 6 pm but just a few small stalls. Not worth making a trip just to visit this Mall because it is really nothing much going on here.
New Condominium project in Section 17, PJ. Seventeen Mall & Residences is the name of this development. Build on the site of the old Sentosa Cinema, which was burnt down years ago. Very imposing structure in the town centre of section 17 PJ....can be seen from far away. Another land mark structure in Petaling Jaya...
Exciting layout. Lots of promotional prices. How long will that go on for. Guess it has to maintain as the buying community from the surrounding areas is small. So business is very dependent on external traffic. Thank and all the best during these challemging times ahead. Thank you. It. D. Dunstan,.PhD, FIMI.
Decently renovated new mall. Small by comparison but decent. Fast food outlets, barber and nail salon outside of a decent sized supermarket. However the customers line is unfriendly as there were limited check out counters. Overall the supermarket is well stocked except I wouldn't come for a quick buy here.
A neighbourhood mall with good grocery market and food options. Went to a fully automated cafe at the top floor. The food was OK but the tables are empty. Guess it was due to the competitors from the affordable coffee shops surrounded by the mall. A good place to hide during hot or rainy days.
Limited number of outlets, mostly f&b with the exception of the supermarket and Mr. DIY. You can finish walking around in under 15 minutes if you are just browsing. Good enough for you imported items as you can get your local necessitates at the wet and dry market just outside this "mall".
Surprising for a small mall, I can do so many thing there. I can park there, and eat at the Chinese coffee shops, plenty of pharmacies, send my duvet and curtains for laundry. My favourite places to visit at Seventeen Mall are Urban Fresh, A&W and Mr. DIY
The mall is pretty small with the shops quiet and limited. That's one of the reason Maxvalue Supermarket closed for good besides being overpriced for the neighbourhood. The eateries outside the mall is quite bustling though.
Ground floor is OK, has some coffee shops and a grocer. There is a morning market on the right side corridor. Upper floors are rather empty with no life. Food Court is empty too. Lots of parking space at upper parking.
Its a neighbourhood mall to my opinion. Small and compact. Nicely design for those staying nearby here. Only 2 floors of shopping area. Got a grocery store, gym, few eateries etc. Not a place for shopping.
Extremely small mall but well rounded. You have a gym, barber, hypermarket, variety food choices and plenty of parking. The washroom is dry and clean and definitely deserve a star. Visited: 17 July 2022
A small and high end shopping mall. There’s aeon for groceries, Mr DIY, 2 hair saloons, nail saloon, a gym and several food shops like A&W, superfine, Mala spicy noodle and a food court.
Another mall, with aeon supermarket and some restaurants, nothing fancy but more like a small neighbourhood mall, bad traffic flow and illegal parking all around is killing this place
It's a community shopping mall. So don't expect much. Nevertheless, has a supermarket, Mr Diy and numerous food outlets. Small and compact and just nice for the local community.
Local mall under an apartment complex surrounded by 40 years old neighbourhood. AEON is the main tenant and with a decent food selections of the food on the street isn’t enough.
This mall not much useful shops. Area is crowded and surrounded by food stalls that offer average food. Generally decent location to stay while looking out for better place.
Standard neighborhood mall with adequate F&B and supermarket. Could improve on the handicapped/family toilet since the parking fee is on the high side.
It's a small neighborhood mall good for grocery shopping. They also have mr diy which sells almost anything from stationaries to gardening stuff.
Nice neighbourhood mall at PJ section 17. A little small but seems to have a little bit of everything from food, groceries, toys, books, etc.
Tis was once Sentosa theatre back in d 80s. Now a mall n its anchor Tennant is a supermarket wit wide range of stuffs n priced reasonably.
Used to have Aeon supermarket here (very convenient for the residents in the neighborhood) but it left early this year.
Overpriced parking as 2 hour need RM3, same rate with Jaya One but offer lesser parking and F&B stall than Jaya one.
Came here for the Aeon n a quick bite at A n W. Ample car park which accepts Touch and Go. Clean environment.
Comfy community mall with delicious F & B options, supermarket, DiY, personal care etc ample parking spaces
Cosy with interesting activities like Indoor Board Games at the Cookhouse on the 1st floor, Sundays 3- 5pm
A mini mall with limited space, no feel of relaxation associated with big mall. The lightings quite dim...
A&W here taste some how better than others outlet..Cosy place to chill with friends for small chat
I like this mall which provides plenty of parking lots..food choice is plenty around this mall..
Very strict. Even for Free parking if you are short of few Ringgit you are still not entitled
Small mall. The restaurants inside seems empty. They need support, variety and marketing
It's such a great time to spend here until midnight and took a grab home lonely.
Barely anything inside. Very limited in terms of store offering. Only a few f&b
I went mostly becoz there is an A&W outlet here. Parking was a major problem.
Nice neighborhood mall and easy to get parking most of the time.
