Counter staff dont call you verbally, they motion with their hand (never mind about customer service, we are just talking about being treated like a human being). They have no idea how to speak to customers (perhaps english is an additional language but a basic hello how can I help you is surely part of owning a shop and dealing with the public). Aside from that, they always try and make you buy the most expensive postage without giving you all the options, just the most expensive one. They do this in a rude and bossy tone. So if you want to pay a fair price for your post you have to be assertive. Going to the post office should not have to be an experience like this. Hopefully one day this shop will change owners and the new staff will understand manners, customer service skills and the fact that customers should not have to barter in a post office. If you can, avoid this place. If you have to go, be assertive with what you want and tell them when they are rude.

It is the worsiest place ever.... we came yesterday to the post office with post cheque to receive some money. The old lady said that she can't give us cash , because she dont know how to do it. She ask us to come next day and bring another receipt.( which we left at home). I said we will bring it today , but once again she said to come tomorrow becausr she doesnt know how to do it. Tomorrow will be the owner and he will give money. We coming today , asking the same old lady and she said that she never saw me and my friend.....and lady sending us to go to the bank. But we just change the queue and talking to another lady which after ten minutes arguing paying us our money.... we asked Manager contact , but ladies told that they dont know.... what a company is that ? And how she can keep at work so unprofessional staff at work?

Local post office for yonks mate and I tell you something I get 110% brilliant service everytime. Them lot deal with a conveyor belt of customers on a daily and always looking for trustworthy staff you think anyone steps up to the plate? No! Next time you fellas are down there picking up your flippin dole money, paid for by the tax of the people you're taking the mickey out of on some of these racist reviews, apply for a flippin shift. A lot of the time royal mail messes stuff up it aint always thier fault, its usually elsewhere. Furthermore, just shows a lot here aren't people persons, work with each other, you'll get better results.

This place is honestly a joke and so is the staff that work here. They dont listen to your needs and as a result the service takes longer than it needs to. Long queues out the door and theres no sense of urgency at all, probably because they have literal pensioners working. They will also go out of their way to try to overcharge you, lady at the front charged me £9 to send a letter even though i explained CLEARLY i wanted standard delivery. This place is a short walk from me but i would rather travel long distances to another post office just to avoid their awful customer service

Dont ever go here very messy bad service and they dont know how to process standard post office transactions. Whilst i was in the que for about 20mins they left letters lying around in full view. Massive failures of GDPR i could see bank details names address date of births. I have pics and will email royal mail. The worst thing was when customers were posting packages onece they had paid for the postage the customer was asked to leave the parcel under the counter in full view of public. Can easily be stolen. Shambles

Please beware if your posting anything from this branch the staff will give you the most expensive service (daily target's more important then customers) then deny that a cheaper service is available... luckily I checked royal mail and parcel force prices before I left home otherwise I would have been ripped off! Generally not customer focused lot's of side chatting going on...come on guys your queue might not be so long if you all focused on your customers instead of chatting!

Worst post office ever.. would give this place zero if I could.. Rude staff who shout at you and use terminology to suit them, beware they want to charge more despite you telling them that it is not what you want and then lying they can't change it even though they have not even stuck the label. Best avoided.. Goodmayes/ Chadwell heath post offices are excellent compared to this.. Never ever stepping here again.

Pathetic staffs. Visited to send my documents to DVLA, asked for standard delivery, but the lady there charged me whooping £17 stating I may loose the originals in standard delivery. I could cancel everything if I knew, but she opened my package, repacked in their own plastic, scanned, processed and informed me about this. Absolute nonsense. Don't visit here unless it’s pressing situation. I felt looted.

Very poor service my parcel delivered here I went there to collect my parcel they always said we did not received I am having New born baby I went there many times to collect my parcel but they always we do not have your parcel I am new mom I was already in stress due to the sleepless nights that parcel contained my medicines they even did not check parcels withoutchecking they Said

Appalling service, miss selling and poor confusing advice is being metered out to unsuspecting customers who may not be familiar with their terminology. Beware, if you ask for Recorded Delivery you will be pushed into paying for Special Delivery at almost twice the cost. Do not send your children in there unaccompanied as they will be made to part with more then they bargained for.

I used this PO for a limited time during the lockdown when the one down my road had been closed for a few weeks. There was a massive queue on the side but all in all waited around 1hr every week to make a rent payment, top up electricity or pay bills. Not their fault but its been a lifeline for those who still need to use these essential services whilst other branches close.

Always slow with massive lines. And why even have a phone number if your never going to pickup. Update: just went in for a service which the post office website clearly says the post office offers. Staff in there didn't know what it even was at first then claimed to not offer it. And told me to go to a different branch. Staff were all rude, horrendous service. Disgusting.

Waited 30 mins in a queue round the block, only to get to the door and be told that they have lunch between 1.30pm - 2pm. This was at 1.25pm! A courtesy message from someone inside telling all of us that were waiting would have been nice. It hasn’t been managed well. Unfortunately it’s the only close one and we have to grin and bear it.

Rubbish service, rubbish staff. This place needs new management and new staff. Ive lost my packages 3 times here and they dont care they just say ‘come back again tommorow’ even when the delivery clearly says its been delivered. Ive had to refund every single time. Get rid of this place

Zero star service... overcharging for parcel bags asking for double the amount what other post offices charge.... rude staff... misplaced my parcel and not ready to provide any details .... i suspect they are laying their hands on our parcels. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN !!!!

Absolute shambles of a place. Run by thieves. Stole my parcel without a doubt because they thought there was something valuable inside. Needs to be shut down asap & the Police to investigate. Lock up the crooks & throw away the key. Hope they get robbed like I was !!

I visited yesterday afternoon to send a letter by 1st class,one of Lady staff served me but she didn't give me receipt. I asked for receipt she told me-why didn't you tell me before. Normally every shop &post office provide receipt don't need to tell before.

Deposited £100 into my account and left. Checked my account when I got home and saw my account was showing £100 WITHDRAWN!!! Not only was I not credited but my account was debuted instead. So I go to call them and no phone number attached!?!! Great !!!

Post office opening times online does not correlate with their actual opening times. This is the second time in a week I have visited the post office only to find it closed. This needs to be updated. Not acceptable.

Used check & send passport service. Received letter from passport office need to resend the latest pics so went back to resend the photos she took the photos from me but never post it. now it’s temporary closed

Bad service, the female workers are very rude. They clean up when the line goes all the way to the street, they refuse to make photocopies. They talk poorly with visitors. I recommend changing the staff.

Been in there 4 times - 2 times for different things and a further 2 to fix what they messed up on each of those transactions. You got to give it to them, they are consistent if nothing else

Worst post office experience I’ve ever had. Deposited a cheque here and it doesn’t even show up, looks like they’ve lost my cheque which is very annoying. That was a first and last.

The boy belong to this post office is very weird...some time measures our stuff through scale some time not...some time create an issue even an single thin stuff...disappointed

This post office is absolutely useless. Opens and closes the the times they choose to open regardless the times it should do. Really if I could I wouldn't gave it star.

They refused to give proof of postage for 27 international packages. Some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. They also close earlier than they should often.

Service has gone downhill. The only serious staff is the male worker. The females have been there far too long and have lost enthusiasm and customer care.

Staff didn't know how to process a SORN form. I was told to come back when someone was present that knew how to do this. Not really acceptable.

Horrible customer service, website says open until 6pm but yet they tell you 5:30 when you get there. Lady at the front is TERRIBLE.

Does anyone answer the phone in this place? If you want FX go to Tesco up the road. They have better rates and answer their phones!

Absolutely Useless I went there on a Friday at 5:10pm and it was shut Disgraceful as it say 6PM on the royal mail website
