I had my rear bakes changed due to the calipers seizing. As I was driving to Toronto, I would hear strange sounds coming from the rear drivers side wheel. My father and his friend who are retired mechanics inspected it and found that Speedy Auto forgot to put in the caliper bolts. Because of this issue, it lead to damage to the electrical brake wire. It cost me over $800 to repair and I had to get it done asap so I could get back to Montreal. I talked to the owner Mona about this she continually insisted that the manufacturer gave a bad caliper and that caused the bolt to unloosen. She even had another employee named Chris tell me that this was a rare event that occurred. I know that they are lying about that because the mechanics that looked at it all said that the bolts were forgotten. Shen then tried to tell me that the manufacturer would reimburse me only $300 but she refused to show me any proof that they were taking responsibility for the problem or give me a receipt from them. This is a very unprofessional mechanic that forgot a basic job such as putting in caliper bolts and on top of that they refuse to give me an appropriate reimbursement. If you care about your vehicle, do not take your car here.

I recommend Speedy Auto Service des Sources because just as their tagline says: "At Speedy you're a somebody", and it really shows! I had to take a road trip the other day but was having issues with the tire indicator notification suggesting there was a problem with my tires. I had gone to two other garages prior, one of whom put too much air (overinflated), and the other one who couldn't be bothered to give me the right advice on what should be done, and actually referred me to Speedy. Once I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile by Mona and reassured that everything will be looked after to my satisfaction. After 30 mins, my car was checked, tires were inspected, and I was 100% good to go. They never once gave me the feeling they were going to take advantage of my situation, the tire malfunction indicator has not gone on since, and I had a very safe road trip to & from. It was so refreshing to be given this amazing service from beginning to end. We will now be switching our company cars to Speedy located at 2345 Hymus, and I will be referring whoever I can. Sincerely, one delighted and very satisfied customer!

The best garage and best experience. Last Saturday, one tire of my car had very low pressure and I thought it is potentially a leakage issue. This was the second time I called the garage due to urgent situation and they always tried to arrange my visit right away in the same day. The owner removed the wheel and performed a detailed leakage check. He found the tire is in good condition without any leakage issue. He patiently explained to me the possible reason, refilled all tires with correct pressure level and also gave me some honest suggestions. What surprised me at the end is they did not charge me anything for the work and time and told me that it is because they did not repair anything. I really appreciate their good services and generosity. I also had several car maintenaces in this garage at the past and found the owner (couple) and other staffs are very nice, honest and professional. They always provide best services with minimum cost to customer and most importantly they never try to do any unnecessary work. This is a best garage I definitely trust and recommend. Hongzhi

I was in a jam after work one day where my car would not start (battery completely dead) everybody had gone home and I started to call around different shops and all suggested to get my car towed ($75) to the shop so they could look at it. Not satisfied with that answer I called speedy where I spoke with the owner (he had already closed shop) but still drove over to my work, boosted my car to it to shop to do some battery testing to eliminate alternator issues but concluded that the battery was faulty. He did not have a battery for my car but provided outstanding service when I needed it and even though he had closed shop. I highly recommend this placed based on service, profesionalism and competence... took me a little long to finally write my review but I had too since it was well deserved

You might as well go to a dealer, you’ll pay less for parts. Profits? Of course, that’s what business is about. But within reason! Brought my GF’s daughter’s car last year for a job that should’ve cost a lot less parts and labour than it did, but they were marking up parts 3 and 4 times the cost. I have an account at WORLDPAC and know what they’re paying. My oldest daughter went today for an issue with drivers side window, as it wasn’t closing/was off the track, and they talked her into leaving her car, agreeing to a 500$ cost to replace modulator. ARE YOU FOR REAL?! She doesn’t know any better and they took advantage of that fact. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. You’ve been warned!

I came in last week for a tire change and oil change. My partner and I had bought the wrong size winter tires (new car - I know, I know we should have triple checked!). Mona and her brother let me know about the tires and they went above and beyond to fix this for me. They let me borrow their car to go to Canadian tire to look for new tires. When CT didn't have any in the correct size, Mona started to call a few more tire places around and we were able to find tires for only $5 more than the wrong sized ones we got (was able to return). They were still able to change the tires that day! Amazing service, friendly and I highly recommend! Will definitely be going back!

I am very appreciative towards Speedy’s team (on Hymus Blvd) for accepting to check my car engine at a time when nobody else, including the Spinelli Kia dealership in Roxboro, where I regularly did my car maintenance, would take the time during the busy tire change season. If it wasn’t for them, I should have waited (and either stressed or not used my car) for at least three weeks when I could finally get an appointment. It shows that the team at Speedy’s is very professional and understands very well a real need / concern and is willing to help even somebody who wasn’t their regular customer, which I will be from now on :) Thank you!

Stay away from this place at all costs! I never leave reviews but people need to know this business is fraudulent. Came here for a simple oil change. Was told by the mechanic that my brakes needed to be changed right away as they were about to stop working. Was also told my car had a leak. I was told it would cost 3200$ to fix my breaks as well as the leak. The following day I visited 2 different car shops to get another look. Turns out there is nothing wrong with my brakes and they can be used for another year with no problem. There is also no leaking in my car. This place is truly a scam and I advise anyone to stay far away.

This is the best garage I’ve ever known. The owner Hady is super nice who fixed my car free of charge unbelievably. Here’s my case. While I was changing tires (with rims) by myself , a bold just got busted and the cap of the bold was spinning like a clock. So there was no way for me to take the bold off for the tire change. Called my fiend who had this issue before, and he told me he was charged for $300 in a garage for the issue which panicked me deeply. But Hady got the cap of the bold off free of charge. Now I can put the winter tire on easily. Really appreciate that. My respect and appreciation to you guys!

I went in for wheel alignment because it was repaired at another mechanic and he said it was ready for alignement. I went to Speedy, they told me I needed to do an estimated 1000$ repair before I could do the alignement. They charged me ~40$ for this inspection. I went to Unik Pneu next door, did the alignement for ~80$. I asked them if repairs mentioned at Speedy were needed, they said I didn't needed any repairs. This was also confirmed by the first mechanic. Please dont reply with generic, "Please contact us at the customer service" I wasted enough time already.

I once went there in winter because my gas cover was jammed and after one hour of waiting they told me that your wire is broken(which connects the lever to the gas cover) and the charges would be 350$. 350$ for installation of wire? Anyways I ask them to open my cover manually from inside so I can go home at that time. They did it and charged me 46$ for just opening the cover. The next day when I checked the car the cover was OK, then I realized that it was not opening due to the freezing of wire in winter and they told me it is broken and will cost me 350$.

Suspecting that a rattle I heard coming from under the car might have been part of the exhaust system, I dropped by for them to have a look. They hoisted it within minutes, then showed me a heat shield that was bent and touching the muffler. They bent it back -- for free, of course -- and I was on my way again, no longer worrying about spending money on my car. What I really liked was their excellent customer service, which was genuinely friendly -- qualities very important to me.

I lost control of my car during the first snow storm of the winter. I didn't have my winter tires installed at the time. The accident caused a damage to my tie rods and the mags. I visited this place based on their good reviews and I definitely didn't regret it. Hady was very helpful and managed to fix the car by the committed date. The prices are fair and comparable or better than other garages. I recommend this place and I will definitely go back when needed.

When you get one chance to give a good impression for me started with a phone call. And every minute they gave since that call was always filled with compassion & expertises, making one of the hardest vehicle repair times in my life the least stressful. I think the general reluctance of going to an auto mechanic stems from the uncertainty of truth and gauging prices. So after reading mainly positive reviews on Speedy in Dorval I decided to give it a go; Best decision I have made concerning my car. From his honesty to his customer service, Hady, the Owner is unmatched in his quality of service and prices. I certainly wont be taking my business anywhere else. If i could give him 6 stars, I would.

In just a few minutes they have found the issue on cooling fun thst according to other shop its broken and gone and needed to be replaced. The other shop told me i cannot use my car because the engine will over heat as there is no fan. To the rescue Speedy Hymus branch… people are very nice, Roy analyzed it and just replaced the fuse. Trust is very hard to find these days…But yes I found it at Speedy Hymus. Highly recommended this car shop.

This garage provided a great service. It was a very busy time for them as everyone was getting their winter tires changed so when I had a problem with my battery it was difficult to get an appointment but, as soon as I called her she told me to come in that night they would squeeze me in to take a look. In the end it took about an hour to assess my problem, order a piece in to fix it, and have it fixed. I left feeling so relieved!

Work close by..Had a nail in my tired and did a tire rotation at the same time..went there for the 1st time, felt welcomed, like i been there before..very cool, down to earth..seems family owned..husband, wife and baby girl :) .. conveniently offered me a courtesy car..appreciate that..They seem very reasonable if you have any issues and there's warranty on some of the work they do..i'll givem other try for the next car problem.

Having my car serviced at this Speedy is the best experience at a garage I have ever had. The service, the prices, the speed makes it great and the way I am treated there is tops. This is a family operation, and the family is a joy to meet, free coffee or tea and even doughnuts if you get there at the right time. Best part is knowing they will fix what needs to be fixed, do it right, and not try to sell services I do not need.

Needed an emergency repair on my van and Speedy took in the vehicle on short notice and also took the time to do some other repairs as long as it was in. The manager communicated promptly and clearly with a complete detailed estimate of repairs before going ahead with the work. I was impressed with the detail of information, the pricing and the speed / quality of the work done. My new repair shop for future work.

I was searching the garage review and found a guy saying this Speedy was like a "family garage" we could find in region.... it is exacly it! You have the right information, the right price, the best service and more than that, it is a personalised service!

Sent my wife to do antirust there what a bad quality and worst application ever never will recommend anyone or will be back there My wife even knows the owner Mme Mouna But apparently only employees were there that day they took 114$ for spraying the cire on the plastic haha on one place only so when a woman goes there they are steelers thinking we do not know anything

First time experience was excellent. Mechanic gave us a guided tour of our car and any potential repairs that may need to be done. Made client conscious suggestions about what were immediate repair needs and what should be reviewed in a year's time. Excellent customer service all around. Very welcoming and accomodating. you SCAMMERS! i went in for a wheel aligment and was told my inner an outer tierods were finished, THANK GOODNESS i have MY OWN mechanic and brought my car to him, to find out that my inner and outer tierods are PERFECTLY FINE!!! so what would of happen if i didn't have my OWN mechanic?? you would of scammed me into doing these repairs with you! SHAME ON YOU!

My boyfriend and I were driving from Toronto to Halifax and got a flat tire. The lovely people at this Speedy got us back on in the road in an hour and at a very reasonable price. Warning, do not go there. I went for an inspection, while in the waiting area I heard drilling (unscrewing bolts). Surprise surprise they said my bolt joints were loose. What crooks. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! More harm then good. They unloosened my bolts then told me to pay to get them fixed.

Extremely slow service, went there 2 times and both times I had late service even though I had an appointment, in my recent visit they took an hour and half to do a simple 30 minute tire change, do not recommend going there unless you're in an emergency and no other garage are available.

Called for an emergency tire fix after rolling on the spare tire for 500 km. They fit me in immediately and the tire was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Only cost $75. Every other garage in Montreal had a wait of several days. I'm so grateful to them. Friendly fast service. Merci!

Fraud, they said I have a balljoint issue that is "very dangerous" and would cost me close to 2000, then I took it to a trusted mechanic for a second opinion and he said I have 0 issues within the car..... Free brake check, so they can try and scam you.

“Speedy”, quick to give you a BS diagnosis of your issue. Do NOT go there, they are NOT honest and will overcharge you for no reason. There’s enough garages in Montreal/Point-Claire to help you, so DON’T go there. Just a friendly human tonhuman advice.
