Losing a loved one is never easy. No amount of planning can prepare you. I lost my sister on 8/10/2023, and my mom was in touch with Maria on 08/11/2023. She was very personable, patient, and understanding. We told her we didn't want a viewing, just a cremation. However, Maria suggested that we take the weekend to really think it over and she made us an appointment for Monday 08/14/23 to go over the paperwork and make our decision about the viewing.This allowed my mother not to rush into a decision. And it was great advice from Maria, because by Sunday morning my mother received so many texts and phone calls from people who knew my sister that she decided that she wanted a viewing, she wanted to give my sister's friends, ex co-workers, and classmates a chance to say goodbye. I called the funeral home Sunday afternoon and asked for a viewing to be scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. I knew it was a lot to ask for because it was such a short notice. They moved things around and made it happen for us. During our Monday appointment, I learned that we could rent a casket. Which is a huge cost savings. Additionally, they were not pushy on selling their additional services (flowers, urns, etc). So on Tuesday Maria was there to assist, she told me her office was our office, anything we needed she was there to help. We created our own Playlist on their computer, we made picture poster boards of my sister and they provided the easels to hang them up. Maria also did a great job touching up my sister's makeup and doing her best to make sure my sister looked the best she could throughout the viewing. The only negative thing I would say would be the outside of the building looks a little rough. But as they say don't judge a book by its cover, and we are so glad we didn't, because the inside is very clean, very new looking, and overall a pleasant experience. Thank you Maria for your compassion and support through this difficult time. And thank Dana and Darron as well for working with our family and making such a difficult time as smooth as possible. I cannot believe the disrespect that was given to our family as we lost our niece of 31 years old who had left behind four children. This was the worst preaching I have ever heard. No words of comfort no words of advice no words of God loves us and no Bible verses were said They gave us encouragement about the loss of our niece. . Funerals are for encouragement to be heard from a preacher who knows the Bible Do you Jesus Christ our saviors words for encouragement and inspiration. I’m was apparent that this person had no clue what the Bible speaks about to encourage those who have lost a loved one. I am extremely disappointed in the way this funeral was handled and I would never recommend anyone to come to your place. You did nothing to make anyone feel like the Lord was present and you did nothing to make us feel like we needed any kind of encouragement. Instead you reprimanded us for not being there To save Someone who can you be saved I’m not sure if you got this person from the strip of Vegas or what but he is no minister no preacher no bishop he should never have been there This person from Detroit needed to know the Bible and answer the questions to the children that were left behind. I did not recommend this place for anyone this preacher did nothing to come for the family or did you do anything to comfort or inspire the children who lost their mother. Do you not come to this place you will be extremely disappointing. Unless you are a member.

First and foremost I would like to thank The Creator (God) for giving me another opportunity to see another day. I want to thank Serenity for being the first one's to reach out to me after my mother's passing back in March of 2020. They were warm and caring and although I already had started making arrangements here in California where my mother lived the Serenity family still extended their services to me. Sending me cards, a care package, mural picture of my mother meant so much. Thanks Andre Bailey and the staff for your kindness and professional advice and service during that difficult time. It was much appreciated.

There are not enough words that I can use to describe how amazing Serenity Funeral Homes is! There service is second to NONE! They truly treat people with empathy and care during the most heartbreaking times of their lives. I unfortunately had to bury my step-father and mother within 15 months of each other. The staff at Serenity did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job with both of my loved ones. They were courteous and did not treat us like just another customer. I would highly recommend them, due to the level of excellence that they put into everything that they do! Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart.

Amazing staff that go above and beyond, you are made to feel truly cared for thru out entire process of planning for your loved ones funeral. We brought my brother out to Cali for burial and out here, you know how special Serenity is! Serenity funeral home did an amazing job towards my father's funeral! Dooley made my father’s body look very natural and at peace. I was very pleased with his work. The staff was amazing all the way to the very end of my father’s burial. They gave me and my sister the support we needed to get through this tough time. I laid my son Giovanni Melton, to rest at the age of 14 years old. He was killed by his father on 11-2-17. Senator Atkinson recommended that I meet Andre and the staff. Serenity helped me through this tragic time and I cannot say just how much I am in debt for the kindness, love and professionalism I received. No one should EVER go to ANY other funeral home in Las Vegas. They listened to my needs, they treated me like family. EVERYONE was great, I recommend this funeral home to everyone. Veronica Melton

I have to tell everyone that reads this, this is the best experience we have ever had. Raymond and his staff, showed such compassion, that we felt like we weren't in a funeral home. Genuine caring, No "Hard Sell". The VALUE is remarkable. I contacted 2 other funeral homes, one was 3 times higher and it was "this is our cost, take it or leave it". The 2nd one was half again higher. Raymond is exceptional. We will recommend him and his company to everyone we know. Thanks again

I LOVE serenity funeral home! The hardest thing I had to do was say goodbye to my dad They made it so much easier with their compassion love and care. One thing I really need to emphasize is my dad LOOKED SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! He looked 30 years younger they made him look literally perfect and I am sooo thankful. I would definitely recommend this place! EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! WONDERFUL PEOPLE! Everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it.

I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy, who was, unfortunately for me, a stillborn. I was staying strong but my questions where bothersome and unanswered, until I attended my sons service. I had a great amount of weight, just lifted off my chest, I felt relieved in a way with my questions answered and that's what, Serenity funeral homes family did for me. Just a remarkable place for Peace. Couldn't ask for anything better.

They did very good by our grandmother who passed in Las Vegas! If your love one is stuck at Davis funeral home give Serenity a call ASAP they will do right by your family living and passed. Honestly could not have asked for a more gentle and caring assistance from this company. Any question we had at any time was no problem and they immediately helped us get an answer.

Serenity funeral home did a great job with my baby from getting my baby transferred into their care when I was getting run around from Davis.I got to come dress my own baby Veronica was so helpful everytime I called Sierra was so kind she acknowledged me soon as I got out the car I was able to take last ride with my baby I really appreciate everything they did

Nice and clean facility. Only issue was the wait. We waited outside in the scorching heat for about an hour before having access to the building.
