My wife and I have entrusted Dr. Marchan with our dental health for many years, and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Even now, when there's a move to Tallahassee on our horizon, we'll gladly make the drive from there to Jacksonville, just for Dr. Marchan. She, and every member of her staff are filled to overflowing with gentle kindness and genuine empathy. Once you've had an appointment here, I think you'll agree that you've found your lifetime dental provider. Oh, and they're all 'closet comedians', too. Give them half a chance, and they'll make you cry from laughing so hard as they banter back and forth during your appointment. It's not fair, either - Dr. Marchan loves to get me going while my mouth is jacked open and I can't fire back. If you read this review, and you decide to give Dr. Marchan a try, ask her to explain what 'dental worms' are...her response will give you a very clear picture of the character, warmth, and humor to be found in this office. The office is almost Zen-like in its calming effect. The office hours are designed to accommodate working families, but there's a hard rule that they're closed on Fridays, so that Dr. Marchan and her staff can further their education and skills. Don't misunderstand, though - everyone in this office is HIGHLY skilled; Dr. Marchan is adamant that a medical practitioner must continually update their skills as dental procedures and practices evolve. I hope you find this review helpful, and it helps you make the decision to also place your trust in this very skilled practitioner. Honestly, Dr. Marchan and her staff feel more like much-loved friends instead of our family dentist. I totally understand and agree with another reviewer's comment that it's the best general dentistry office in Jacksonville.

I hate to say this but the experience we just had at this dentist office is sad. This in no way is against Dr. Marchan herself but her staff. We had scheduled an appointment but due to our healthcare program being new it required our appointment to be pushed about a month, which was no problem we planned and asked if there was anything else needed. At the time they said no that they would call and let us no if there was any problems. Today December 10th 2020 my wife and son went to the dentist for the appointment as they walked in no one was there to greet them so they remained in the lobby. When someone came out they had explained they couldn’t be in there and that there was a sign on the door that they should have read. ( there was no sign, which the receptionist saw and said well there should be one). She then told them to wait outside and they would set the room up, after about ten minutes she came out explaining to my wife how they had paperwork on her but not on my child. The only problem was we never filled out paperwork in advance because we were not I trusted too. My wife then started to fill out the paperwork when the receptionist came out (again) and was giving my wife attitude as why she couldn’t of just filled it out in advance, at this point my wife had enough and told the receptionist ( Katherine) too cancel the appointment and take our business elsewhere. No one is asking the receptionist to be a shine of sunlight when you walk through the front door but I would assume that a adult in that line of work should have some class at very least which was shown today that, that particular receptionist did not.

I’m so happy I came across Dr. Marchan’s office while shopping in the area. Made an appt for myself and my husband. We both had a great experience. Everyone was so nice and professional while also taking extra precautions due to covid. I knew we were happy, but today I brought my two daughters (7 and 4 years old) in for their first appt with Dr. Marchan. I’ve never seen my girls have so much fun at the dentist! They loved everyone in the office. They definitely were made to feel comfortable and not afraid. I was with my youngest but could hear my older daughter talking and giggling away in the other room. They actually cannot wait to go back. That makes me happy as a parent. I love that my whole family can be seen by the same dentist! They make the whole process so easy. I definitely recommend this office. Happy we’ve finally found someone we love and will stick with.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Marchan and her team for the past 11 years. After countless visits and experiences, my thought process is the same: professional, friendly, a high amount of expertise, fair prices and good people. I have always hated going to the dentist but I laugh a lot and have a pleasant experience at Dr Marchan's office. Their automated text messaging system that reminds you a couple days before and day of your appointment is convenient if you have a busy work life, plus it helps me remember to do paperwork and follow the right procedures for COVID. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good local dentist who will take care of you and your teeth.

Dr. Marchan is a great dentist. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marchan and her staff. This weekend I thought I broke a tooth. I called Dr. Marchan’s office, she responded within 15 minutes. Even though they were fully booked, they took me in first thing Monday morning. I have always appreciated the way that they care for their patients, their professionalism, convenient location and hours, but I’m even more impressed by how they took care of me in my hour of need!

Dr. Marchand is the best DMD,PA in this whole City...hands down. I had gone to bad Dentist to bad Dentist for over 12 years, and had just thought that was par for Jacksonville. If your out there looking at reviews trying to find somebody who really cares.... this is the review you needed to read. Also, the staff there is so cool and caring. Dentist, Doctor Selena L. Marchan and her staff are the BEST. My family visits her, she takes care of our teeth very well. Dr. Marchan is text away, even when they are closed, just send her text, she will response to you if it is Emergency or for some reason needs to cancel upcoming appointment. I had the best experience at Dr. Marchan’s office today! It was completely painless, quick, and pleasant. Dr. Marchan and her team are all so friendly and comforting, I am so glad I found this office! I highly recommend Dr. Marchan, especially if you have a bit of dental anxiety like myself. Simply the best Dentist my wife and I have ever been too. They are the best at insuring you are calm comfortable and confident in their services. Things like TVs on the ceiling and great upbeat positive attitudes are a big plus when you’re getting dental work done. They are more than just professional, they will exceed your expectations!

Dr. Marchan is very sweet and talented. I appreciate her conservative approach; she works hard to patch and repair vs. rip and replace, which is the approach many dentist have for their own $$ and convenience factors. I have never felt uncomfortable or stressed while in her care and I always look forward to seeing her and her staff.

I found this office from other recommendations. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a couple of years because well, children and life happen. I had a deep cleaning done here and I couldn’t be more pleased. The staff and doctor is absolutely sweet. She is so kind and gentle! I highly recommend it!
