Food was yummy I liked it. Was not wow but was ok. I ordered grilled shrimp and the seasoning was ok. It tasted different, not sure if it is a good different or a bad different. But it was ok so i would give it 7/10. Fried calamari was flavourful but over cooked so I would give it 6/10. Grilled salmon was yummy and cooked to perfection so I would give it 8/10. Also a side if vegetables was a bit salty but yummy actually, I would also give it 8/10. We ordered a side of Sayadeya rice and I won’t recommend it. It was very plain, soggy and no taste. Service, was “Meh” I ordered water and the cup was all smudged, no was an ew for me. So I did not touch it. The lady came to check on us i asked for another one with some ice, she said sure and she never brought anything. The bill for what you can see in the pictures including the rice, it cost $153 waaaaaay over priced! Also, Inside the Restaurant was so hot i am not sure if the AC was broken or what? But it was boiling hot inside and was not that clean as well. So overall experience I would give it 5/10.

We were visiting Montreal and decided to try this restaurant as it delivered to our hotel. We checked out the website and noted that they listed pictures for every single meal. Big plus. We ordered a few different dishes including the barbecued shrimp, fish and chips, shrimp and calamari, and the family plate (a super large plate with multiple types of whole fish and fillets, shrimp, calamari, and rice). Not one person in my party was dissatisfied with their plate! The food was well seasoned and flavorful (even the fries and the rice). Please note that the shrimp is "peel and eat" shrimp. This was my only complaint as they put a lot of seasoning on the outside and I was afraid that it would not permeate the shrimp inside. Thankfully, the flavor did get inside somewhat. Overall, I would definitely order from here again. I would have done so sooner if the prices were a bit cheaper. That being said, I think all of the food was worth the price, and we even had leftovers for the next day.

Amazing place food is sooo good especially the grilled fish, seabass and the royale dorade which was wonderfully marinated with secret spices and when eaten was so fresh, flavourful and not even fishy at all. Salad and rice and the fries were awesome too. Ibrahim, the owner was very accommodating and treated us to a very special cake called Oum Ali and Moroccan tea for dessert for our 37th wedding anniversary, thank you! I highly recommend this place for their fresh seafood, the way it's prepared, simple but very good and because I'm also a cook who knows and came all the way from Toronto just to try this place. The server and the owner were very attentive too. I'm hoping he'll open a restaurant in Toronto or Mississauga, Ontario so we can enjoy it again and others can try too because it's hard to find a place like this in our province. Otherwise, we'll be back again soon ..

I ordered the combo which has shrimps, calamary, 3 kinds of fish and rice. Also ordered the seafood soup. Every things so perfect ans yummy. I prefer more salty but they serve salt & pepper on table so it's totally fine. The restaurant is clean and colorful. The staffs are really nice but not sure if they can speak fluently in both english and french. Also the price on the menu is old price, need to be updated. Btw, I will be back :) thank you for the yummy foods.

Really delicious food! At first guy at the counter seemed a bit grumpy and impatient (I think he's the owner) but after talking to him more times he seemed nicer. The lady server (it seemed she's his wife) was always super nice. Tasty salad and fries, crunchy delectable fish. Calamari was on point and the garlic shrimp and octopus were awesome too. Overall experience in the end I'd give 6 stars if I could. Fast, good service with really great good. Will definitely come back. :)

A true hidden gem in Montreal, Cote des Neiges area. I take all of my friends here for the delicious and fresh fish, great service and relaxed atmosphere. You can order food two ways: at the fish counter and at a table. The two people who run it are super kind and friendly, always trying to make sure that everything is going well. The fish and seafood are super fresh, affordable and tastes amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back for more with even more friends to join me.

It is actually a community restaurant with fish market. Nice and clean, the raw seafood does attract quite a bit of flies. The soup was decent, yet the mussel in it didn't seem fresh too me, they all melt into the soup. The Basa fish was fried into a soft chunk which pretty good. The seasoning is on the litter side. Would be a good family restaurant for the community.

I went with my family. We are from Mexico, is the first time we eat Mediterranean food. To be honest it was really good! We say it has the 3 "B" (bueno,bonito y barato). Really good Also, the chef was super kind with us. He gave us a warm green tea with mint, super delicious!!!! The fish we ate and the squid rings were super fresh!!! I truly recommend this place! ----- Está muy rico!!! Vayan!! Es bueno, bonito y barato!!

This has always been a seafood lover’s hidden gem. Not a lot of people know that they probably have the best calamari in MTL. Rayan’s is delicious, but they certainly have the best spices and much better fried seafood there is than other seafood restaurants. The shrimp and calamari are the go to, they are crispy and super fresh!

I came here while they were renovating, and unfortunately it did hinder the experience quite a bit as half the restaurant was littered with construction equipment. For a seafood restaurant, the pricing is not bad. They have some interesting offerings. I got to try Stingray for my first time here. Food is really tasty and the service is really good as well.

The food is very delicious! The taste is perfect! Superb, first time to eat here, and it's worth it! Highly recommended SEAFOOD RESTAURANR LA MER ROUGE!

We went on Christmas day and everything was excellent. We were in the party nook so it was nice and private. We had the shrimp, octopus, salmon, calamari, red snapper and more, and all was cooked to perfection. The prices were very affordable too. Service was quick and attentive. We look forward to going back there soon.

Found the food better than Rayan and Zeina, more importantly the owner was well receiving and really accommodated our tastes specifically (spicy). Price was better too. We had the fried fish, grilled salmon, octopus and shrimp.

Great quality of food. Been there a few times, owner is very knowledgeable and passionate with his presentation and selection of food. Sometimes his staff doesn't know what certain things are (new staff) Food is priced a little on the high side but the taste is well worth it.

Very good food, the best at it's most simplest. Everything was cooked to perfection. The owner is very friendly. It's always the place for a fast bite to eat other than your home and also great for any other occasions.The food there is very much well liked, my go to place!

The fish was fresh and good just as what I heard from a personal recommendation. But the pasta was undercooked and hard. When we asked for water, the waitress just brought a bottle without mentioning that it was not free nor specifying if we could have tap water.

Super tasty bbq shrimps, very good soft calamari with perfect breading and flavor. We are VERY happy with coming here. I love it more than Rayans. ^_^ Please come here and enjoy. It is a hidden gem in the city. We will definitely be returning very soon! ^_^

My fourth time here. Food is always tasty and fresh. Everyone should try their Bassa et Calamars with their delicious garlic sauce. Their dessert Oum Ali is also a must-try. Staff are nice and very accommodating.
