"it's very bad experience i had with them , i went to open a chequing account and i meet with one his name Singh then he it was 4:15 pm and he told me he can't process me as i came late 10 mins later !! he told me i will book you for next day , so next day i went at early morning and i saw that guy who refer me to someone his name is Mezhar , then the next guy he was ok in the beginning and he kept asking unnecessary questions and he didn't explain the benefit or disadvantage of that account or even how to pay fees monthly or how much and most of the time he was saying , ohh i have an appointment in 10 mins ohh i have to finish i opened the account and went to another branch in bank st and they helped me better than this place i need to submit that claim and i was unhappy these 2 people had no professional experience with customer service and they made me come on 2 days because one of them it was 4:15 pm and he couldn't work and he told me ohh i can't do it in 45 mins but next day his college did it in 15 mins and he was so rush without telling the full details of the bank account"

I agree with many of the reviews about this branch. The customer service is poor but more importantly the mortgage advisors and the management are not competent and do not know how to rectify financial errors that they make and deflect blame and accountability by saying that "we can't make those decisions or take those steps for you at the branch level". You can take my money and earn hundreds of thousands in interest on people's homes and make billions per year in earnings but can't reassure a customer that a mistake made by their mortgage advisor will be corrected. My worry is that these mortgage advisors are former tellers that take a weekend seminar to advance to an advisor role but essentially remain a glorified teller and can only rely on the bank software for decisions. Stay away friends!
Worst customer service ever I got from the branch manager. I deposited money by the ATM and my money for some reason didn't get deposited into my account. I asked the manager for help all that she was saying that she can't do anything while I was on the phone with the customer service to solve the issue they asked me to get the manager information . She was so rude, unprofessional and made me feel like I have done something wrong even though I haven't. Terrible customer service was provided by the branch manager.
What a horrible branch for customer service. I met with a guy to help set up some financial services. He tells me I will be sent all forms electronically. Never got them. Had to go back to the branch. Meet another guy…same thing. I’m here again today. It should not be that had to send forms via email or is it?
There is no way to talk to someone at the branch on the phone unless you are an existing client. No matter what you do you'll be transferred to the national number. Really annoying that you can't call and speak with someone at the branch. I live in the community and won;t be switching to this bank.
The need to work more on customer service. It is better to select someone who at least respect customers more as a customer service manager. Mainly, they do not have the name batches or they try not to make it visible to customers. I tried it a few times, every time I had to go to another location.
This Scotiabank location has to be the absolute worst, ATM machines are literally never functional (especially the drive thru one) and they seem to often have downed systems when trying to access services through a teller. Seems like lazy management, I would not recommend this location
It seems the branch doesn’t honour there operating hours posted on their door. It’s the third time I visited the branch on Friday at 4pm and already closed, it posted on the door they close at 6pm and I had an urgent matter. I will seriously consider switching banks. So frustrating !
I never come to this bank anymore. I have been screwed over many times. They don't know what they're doing. I had to go to a different location to find out all the mistakes these bankers had done and had to get a large refund. What a joke. You should be able to trust your bankers.
The service is not pleasant at all. Customer service seems very unprofessional, unwelcoming and unknowledgeable. The 'advisors' never on time, and don't know what they are doing. I would not use this location anymore.
Terrible management. Kept telling me that they couldn't print off a document that the head office insisted they could. Went to a different branch and I had everything I needed in 5 minutes.
Worst bank ever like I completely a joke go in to cash a paycheck the manger hold my check and lies about calling my home town back now my pay check is still on hold worst bank ever
They don't care the number for telebanking gets redericted during off hours to an indian call center wanting whole card numbers and your PIN ! Demonstrated this but hoo humm .
Went to the drive through ATM to get cash and the bills were all missing pieces. No ones going to accept these bills. And the ATM won’t accept them back! Ugh.
Can you fix your drive through ATM for deposit ??? This is so annoying! It is cold and hard to get out of car and stay in long line in the bank
They were very polite and attentive. I liked the way Clair helped my grandmother she was very patient.
The cook was amazing, was very nice and understanding. We definitely recommend this place to anyone.
