Mayor Breed talks a good game about cleaning up the city, but underwhelms massively in performance. She's lucky not to get sued for not enforcing the law in the Tenderloin and SOMA, endangering local residents, bankrupting hospitals, crushing commercial real estate, and destroying local businesses. Now that beds are available (and who said SF has to house all of the US addict population?), there's no excuse not to start clearing the tents. There has been plenty of open space out of town the whole time, and you're not helping the addicts by enabling their addiction here. The amount of feces on the ground is at a high, which is another unfair health risk for locals, and the bleach used for the (occasional) cleanings is not healthy either. Enforce the law, Mayor Breed, or you will be replaced by someone who does. Your modest recent successes mean little.

We are residents of Bay Area over 35yrs. We have been constantly visiting the City, and proudly showing the City to our friends and families from Europe and Asia. However, the image of the City has gone down to the drain in recent years: 1. the legendary Teatro ZinZanni performance which brought so much flare to the City waterfront has been shutdown for over 10yrs and being permanently closed? Why SF city did not support/ sponsor it? 2. Pier39 is now like a flea market and full of junk people, street vendors, and a trash land. We felt ashamed to show and hesitated visiting there now. We are very angry and don't understand why SF City allows these vendors to mess up one of the most visited and world-famous tourist spots. What is the SF Major doing?

I can no longer support (by traveling to on vacation) this great city that I once loved because of its current misguided PC leadership. Removing the George Washington Mural at GW High School is the last straw. Might just as well start burning the books in the school library as well. Oh, and change the name of your city while you're at it. Look up Saint Frances, I'm sure he was some kind of unfit historical un-woke miscreant as well !! Adding to and updating the previous review above from 3 years ago: Well, it's only gotten worse. Their handling of the pandemic and homelessness during that time was a complete & total disaster on all levels !!!

Rampant car break-in problem. My family and I went there for one day and our car and a car right next to us got our car broken into. Cops drove by and saw what happened and kept moving. Completely ignored us. Need to fix this problem ASAP

Different and I have witnessed Mayor's since, (1993) but it was like no one was at Home! San Francisco CA has always been open and kind to People! Now Day's,. Good Luck with anyone acting like it was normal and you can get more!

...I Met Mayor London Breed at the 'Sunday Streets', in 2019. She's a nice lady, and I think She's doing a good job, being what She has to work with, and the Ed Lee Legacy...... .......-M.W [Sept. 2002]

Less than one star Mayor Breed, It's your job to know how to protect your city. Stop pointing fingers at the NWS and admit you failed to prepare your City properly!!!!

London Breed, the Mayor, chose to defund the police. Crime is out of control in San Francisco now! Stay away! You may get hurt or killed!

San Francisco is now an atrocity, once a beautiful, vibrant & culturally rich city...now, its a nightmare. Great job!!
