It’s hilarious how kids think today. One person posted a negative review because they couldn’t get their art shown (or sold) at this store, and therefore claims the owner of this store has “no respect for local artists”. Maybe your “work” wasn’t any good? Additionally, acting like a child, claiming racism, discrimination, or bias, is not going to get the owner of this store to display (or sell) your “art”. Pay your dues, work with your respective community, and put your name out there with positive and respectful connotations and, just perhaps, with time you may build a name for yourself. Threatening others and claiming discrimination is NOT the way life, or any form of business, works, especially when you are first starting out in your respective field. As a published academic researcher in many journals, I paid my dues and I developed a name through hard work and dedication within the community and other respective outlets related to academia. I visited this store yesterday, and saw many art pieces from varying local artists. It was a very diverse collection. Very nice art displayed on walls even though I did not find any paintings of Hill Country Wildflower bluebonnets and Indian paint brush scenes. I would encourage more artist to paint these as it was seasonal time for blooms and visitors to purchase high quality art. The gentleman painting as we walked in the door was very friendly and I hope to contact him soon for a commissioned piece.

The owner has ZERO respect for local artist. Has NO eye for good work. Is not interested in even considering anything due to his prior obligations to too many medicore artist. Gallery is filled with pieces he is contracted to and can't move. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
