!!DO NOT GO HERE!! The rudest staff and 'owner'. They added items onto our shopping and when we asked for a receipt they refused. I finally got a receipt and they had over charged us as well as adding on items. Politely asked for my change and was told that the coins needed for change didn't exist?! Was verbally abused by the 'owner' in front of other customers and staff, the 'owner' then flicked a coin into my bag and laughed. My partner came over at this point and they were extremely rude to her also. They bullied us out of the shop. Vile woman and staff. If I could give this place -*'s I would do. I hope nobody has the experience we had.

Went in 2 days in a row. Cashier was rude to a customer in front of us yesterday. (gave her benefit of doubt - maybe she had bad day). Today, she was rude to us; pretty sure she's in wrong line of business. I make an effort to be pleasant and say the basics in Croatian, but I'm not a Croatian speaker. Pretty hard to avoid foreign speakers metres from Stradun. I'd give them 1 star, but it's conveniently located and has a good selection of water, packaged deli, some bakery items, booze, and snacks at reasonable prices. The produce was some of the saddest I've ever seen - avoid.

Today was my first day in Dubrovnik and I had an amazing day. Stopped into this grocery store on my way back to my hotel in the evening and had a terrible experience with a very rude cashier. She was very short and agressive when I asked some questions and then literally got angry when I didn't know that I had to weigh the produce myself before bringing it to the cashier. The whole experience was unpleasant. Thanks for ruining my first great day in Dubrovnik. Other reviewers have also mentioned the poor customer service and I do not recommend for tourists to go here.

Went in to buy a candy bar and the girl at the register tried to cheat us out of our change. She kept looking at us like she didn't understand or care. Fortunately, the person behind us spoke Croatian and English and she was able to get us our change (which the girl threw at us). Croatia in general rounds off the pennies which would have been expected, but instead she tried to cheat us out of full coins. Make sure you check your change before leaving.

I don’t normally leave reviews (and usually when I do, they are positive) but felt compelled to acknowledge how rude and unpleasant the staff member working behind the counter was today. It was evident that everyone in the market felt uncomfortable because of her poor manners. I can see from other reviews that this was probably not her first time being extremely rude to customers and I would recommend avoiding this market.

Has the essentials, but there was one older female staff there with short hair and glasses was rude. Firstly asked us what we were going to do with 4 pieces of garlic and then accused us of breaking apart their garlic when we simply took one that was already broken. When we explained this to her, she simply shook her head as if she doesn’t believe it.

Really convenient but the woman at the counter is rude and discriminatory! I'd spent a fair amount in there all week and for some reason she openly chastised me for how I was dressed in front of everyone in the store. As a 30 something married woman I have never felt so embarrassed! I will never step foot or spend another cent in that store again!

Seems a common complaint of dishonest cashiers from this place. Item prices are not correctly tagged and when the cashier rings up the cost, she tells a higher price until a receipt is demanded and u see the price difference and she just walked and pretend not to understand English. Lousy experience in this beautiful city

Ga niet naar deze supermarkt! Een ster is nog te weinig. Twee keer heb ik hier boodschappen gedaan, twee keer ben ik opgelicht. De prijzen kloppen niet. Ze brengen tevens producten in rekening die je niet koopt. Daarnaast waren meerdere producten over datum. De caissière was zeer onvriendelijk. NOGMAALS GA HIER NIET HEEN!

Try to avoid this market. It says close at 00:00, but closed at 22.00. we were there 21.55, just need to find some food, but the shop assistent just so impatient and rude to get us out 2 min. before 22.00. Dubrovnik so popular tourist place, but these local people don't know how treat foreign tourists nicely.

Came here a lot while staying in Dubrovnik and can definitely say this place saved me lots of money. This is a supermarket and you can buy things at better prices than most other shops in old town. The clerks are all kind and helpful. They carry most of the essentials.

Amazing, has everything one needs, hot baked goods. Staff is super friendly and speaks perfect English. And the most important - it's actually open while 99% of cafes have decided to close "due to holidays". This supermarket has saved my breakfast, thanks a lot!

Small market in the old town, open until 9pm all week, even Sunday. Small selection of food and drink. Produce selection just OK. Fresh bakery. No deli, only packaged meat and cheese. Selection and prices are better at Konzum, down the street.

Probably the cheapest supermarket if your staying in Old Town for all your essentials. It’s where the locals shop, if you go outside the city it will probably be a lot cheaper. However this shop is probably the cheapest and one of the best.

Lovely lady shop assistant with long dark hair, glasses , about 30 years old! Says hello to every customer, smiles and shows excellent customer service.... the snacks and chocolates are a reasonable price too! Cheers John …

Ok supermarket for old town. Just check your receipt as the lady purposely adds to small items on or doubles up cheap items with that hope people won’t notice. Good for travellers on a budget. Fresh croissants in the morning

Lijepa trgovina mješovitom robom u centru starog grada Dubrovnika. Za razliku od obližnjih skupih restorana, gotovo normalne cijene. Voće, svježi kruh, mliječni proizvodi, pakirano meso, sokovi, mineralna voda, alkohol...

Osoblje je stvarno bezobrazno prema turistima, mom partneru je bacalo sitniš. Morali smo jako dugo čekati da budu usluženi unatoč tome što su bili jedini kupci u trgovini. Cijene su u redu, ali nisu najbolje u okolici

Absolutely okay. One of the few supermarkets in old town with all must-haves. Personal note: people complaining about not getting 1 Lipa change should think about how much it's worth (roughly 1/7 US-Dollar-Cent).
