I made Rouge in 2018. In January 2019 they can out with the \"new\" Rouge tier celebration gifts. I selected 4 custom beauty makeovers. I never received those. I May 2019 I then tiered again and in June received a email stating congratulations you've tiered again please select from 3 tier celebration gifts. I again selected 4 custom beauty makeovers. In August I reached out to customer service about not receiving my celebration coupons. They sent me several email 3 in total that showed an order for the tier coupons, but no actual coupons were attached. Finally after much back and forth I received an email from customer service that contained 4 custom beauty makeovers coupons. I immediatelycalled customer service and told them I was still missing 4 coupons as I had earned 8 coupons in total. 4 in Jan and 4 in May/June. They then told me that there computer systems couldn't recognize that someonecould have 8 coupons in the same calendar year. However, that the system showed that I had 8 in total and if I had any problems using them to call customer services from the store and they would clarify that I had eight to use. In September 2019 I used on coupon and had no issues and didn't think anything of the matter. I called customer service earlierthis week to confirm that my 7 remaining custom beauty makeovers were in the system as I would be using some in the coming months. I was told they only show four not 7 and since this program had been discontinued that I was not going to be offered my outstanding 4 beauty custom makeovers. Even though they see that I earned them, but we'll offer you 750 points instead of your 4 custom makeovers. I said all I wanted is what I earned and promised by Sephora for being a Rouge member. I said it was a bait and switch to not provide me with what I had rightfully earned and offered by Sephora. I believe Sephora is a crooked company and does not have the integrity to stand by their offers. It's not my fault that their systems could not reconcile that someone could tear twice in the same year. They basically CHEATED me out of a reward that they offered and I rightfully earned. I have been stuck in there inconsistent customer service nightmare with no resolution to me receiving my for outstanding custom Beauty makeover coupons. I will be posting this story regarding Sephora on every social media to show that Sephora does not adhere to promises nor provide to Rouge members gifts i. e. tier offers that were made but not fulfilled. if this is how Sephora chooses to conduct business then I will find another establishment to spend my money that knows how to treat its Rouge type valued customers fairly and knows how to keep its promises when made. I hope other Rouge members will join me and taking their business elsewhere as clearly Sephora does not want our business!!!! --
Honestly, I have never had a positive experience at this location. I prefer shopping online than going in person. I only go to this location to try out products. Management and staff have always been rude every time I have gone. First time I went I was followed around by staff like I was going to steal something and constantly came up to me asking me if I was okay. This was extremely rude. How did i look like? Was it because I came in sweats to the mall before I went off for my flight. I am a grown woman, I don't need to be treated this way. This location judges you on you're looks, which I think is absolutely absurd. Recently, I went and management was too busy to help me. When I went to check out, there was a line with 4 people ahead of me . I stood in line to check out for more than 15 minutes. Then, finally another associate came up to the front to help at the last minute. If I were you I would shop online. North Park location isn't any better. All the Sephora locations back in California have way better service.
Yesterday I shopped at sephora Galleria Dallas (13350 Dallas Pkwy #1250, Dallas, TX 75240). I was trying the lip gross without the applicator since yesterday the applicator and the remover was run out due to large amount of customers. In this case, I just simply clean the lip gross tip and using that. One staff just come to me and said I cannot use directly and ask me if I didn't see the applicator on EVERY CORNER. I just said sorry to her but she still being so mean to tell me that due to the usage by me, the lip gross was just DAMAGED!!!!! She spoke loudly and treat me like I am an AIDS person. VERY VERY RUDE. I think maybe because I am an Asian, so she won't treat me like she treated to the other AMERICAN. I remember I keep saying sorry to her, but she still blame me without kindness. I believe the other sephora store won't behave like this, I always have wonderful experience in the other store. So this comment is just applied to sephora Galleria Dallas (13350 Dallas Pkwy #1250, Dallas, TX 75240).
UPDATE.. The customer service at this location used to be TERRIBLE!! However I had no choice but to go in here recently and the customer service was so great I look for reasons to come back almost every weekend now! Good job on training those employees because GOT DAMN the previous ones were absolutely insufferable!! Just dreadful broads!! Old review below ⬇️ Every time I’ve been to this store they’re rude as hell. I’ve been twice but won’t be back, I’ll just continue to go to Mac or other places. The last time I went, was on my lunch and I came in to buy an awesome vitamin called super you (which you can order on amazon or directly from the company’s website. No need to deal with the rude Sephora staff). Anyway I got to the counter and it was a girl working at the counter who had a whole conversation with another employee, checked and fixed on her makeup, before finally deciding to say she could ring me up. I was on my damn lunch. I won’t be back.
If I could give negative stars I would. My friend and I just left the Morphe store and spent about $100 each. We went to Sephora with the intentions of spending about the same more than likely more. Not only were we not greeted but I received a nasty glare by one of the employees. Unfortunately I was not able to get her name but she was Hispanic/Latina had long blonde and brown hair and was wearing purple eyeshadow. She was working yesterday October 13th 2018 around 5ish. I came across her twice and both times she looked at me like I had a swastika on my forward. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. Maybe she was having a bad day and I hope it got better for her. Unfortunately, because of her and just the entire establishments lack of customer service I will not be coming back to Sephora. I would rather spend more at the Nordstrom’s beauty counters than be treated as I was at Sephora.
Like being followed by every employee in the store while you’re shopping with your 3 young kids? This is your place! I stopped in Dallas on my way home to Colorado from NOLA for a mini vacation which included as much shopping as one can handle. Within 30 seconds of me walking in pushing a stroller I was being followed. Every employee in the store proceeded to ask if I needed help every minute or so until I checked out. It became so uncomfortable my 9 year old daughter noticed and asked why we were being followed. I am a VIB Rouge member and have spent over $3K at Sephora this year, including a $166 purchase at this store. I would recommend you visit the Sephora in NorthPark or the makeup counters at Neiman Marcus where you’ll be treated with respect.
helpful staff and great selection. lost one star because i was slightly annoyed that everyone kept bugging me. like everywhere i walked there was someone asking if i was doing okay. i mean i have worked in the mall for several years in different stores and i know that is one way to prevent shoplifting. so i get that but when someone is just looking for some really fun make up its really distracting to have to look up every 20 second to say yes i am fine thank you. but i love the store it carries lots more brands than the Sephora in the West Village shopping center in uptown but it is harder to get into. that one is super quick in and out! just my 2 cents! i would recommend it to my friends and family!
Most off putting and uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had in a Sephora. I was dressed in sweats and a jacket, maybe they thought I was going to rob the place but I was very clearly shopping and reading the ingredients on the back of the products I was planning on buying. I was approached 4 times by different associates in the 5 minutes I was in the store (left in 5 minutes and did not get to finish my shopping because I was so uncomfortable). They all approached me very aggressively. There were other customers aimlessly wandering through the store who actually needed help but they would not leave me alone. Long story short, I was racially profiled and judged on my attire. I won’t be going back.
I used to love this location, but the customer service has gone down. Before, you couldn't be in there five minutes without at least three people asking if they can help you. Yesterday, I wasn't even greeted, despite an associate standing at the entrance doing nothing. The associates seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I finally had to ask for the help with locating an item, and the young woman was friendly, but they no longer appear to go out of their way to help. On a side note, it's not a big deal, but their Natasha Denona section was narrowed down to an end cap with only two eyeshadow palettes. I was surprised.
Terrible service! No one even acknowledged me I literally had to ask one of the makeup artists for help. She put my name on this invisible list and when it was my turn I was ignored. So I began to help myself. Once I guess he was the manager saw this he then thought to ask if someone was helping me NO YOU AND YOUR RAGGEDY EMPLOYEES IGNORED ME! This was my first and last time ever shopping sephora. I only shop MAC but I really wanted to try Fenty snd sephora carries it. Never again. Back to MAC I go where customers are treated nicely and not ignored. Don't spend your money at this location.
As someone who has never been to sephora before and is new to learning about my skin type and what foundations would best suit me, I was shocked at the level of service I received here. The dude that "helped" me was extremely rude. It was like he didn't want to be there at all. I felt too uncomfortable to ask follow up questions and he basically just gave me a bottle and rushed me out the door. The color wasn't even the right tone for my skin. I would not suggest coming here if you are genuinely trying to learn about makeup and your skin type and colours.
Clean, well lit, organized, and bright store. Customer service is nice. I Spoke with a Black Gentleman with a big beard, and glasses that works there. He helped me with finding men's fragrances. I am a cologne lover, so every time I go to the mall I like to go to the department stores, and sniff around. This particular Gentleman is a cologne expert. He really knew his stuff. I've never met a cologne salesman that was 100% on the products that they sale. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they don't offer enough men's colognes.
I came with my mother to pick up her birthday gift. She was told she could pick it up when she called. Her birthday is a few weeks away, and we're not in the area often. We were told to wait, regardless. I am kind of disappointed, and I expected a better quality of customer service. Good products, but not starbucks or chick-fil-a level of customer service. My aunt informed me that the two cashiers were laughing as we walked away. We went to Macy's, and they gave us the best service and bombarded her with gifts. Go to Macy's and see Aliya.
Went into Sephora looking for a very specific shade of lipstick that was sold out online Everywhere. And I got lucky! A gentleman employee was very polite and helped me foundation match and suggested a lot for my specific skin needs, so I'm really excited by the products I left with. He was even polite when I had to take a phone call and continued to work with me and answer questions when I was done! The store was clean, some stock seemed a little low. It was organized and welcoming. One of the better Sephora stores I've been in.
Not very attentive or helpful. There were a couple of girls in the store doing their full face of makeup with the testers which is definitely unsanitary and nobody said a word. I looked around for myself and found the Dior Beauty products I wanted. Even with me holding some of the more pricier items in hand, nobody approached me to ask if I needed help— I probably could’ve just walked out with the stuff! I stood in line and paid since the beauty insider sale was ending soon and I couldn’t make it down to another Sephora.
This location tends to always run out of product which is slightly understandable because the amount of traffic along with makeup lovers however, they should consider ordering more product. Some staff members are friendly and some want to be avoided at all costs and some have not been taught customer service skills. As a manager in retail the primary element is customer service so pointing to an area where the product is (later found to be sold out)is no-go.Walk the customer over there. We aren't at your house.
They were willing to give me fragrance samples which was nice, but the experience was off-putting. The girl who helped me out seemed annoyed because I was making her do work by asking her questions about the products they had. My problems with my experience are twofold: the representative that assisted me wasn't very friendly, and she had a foul odor to her. It didn't make me want to come back whatsoever. The fragrance section definitely felt like an afterthought in the store.
The place is not large but not too tiny. Cannot be compared to the one at Houston Galleria mall. Has most of the brands that you would see at other Sephoras. The walk ways are a bit cramped as they have tried to put too may shelves I guess. Mens fragrance selection is a tad bit low, and the you can easily miss this section. Womens fragrance selection is not bad though. Due to the size of this place, I would not recommend going here during heavy sale times like Black Friday.
Everytime I come here I get greeted right away. All the staff is sweet, has huge smiles, and is VERY helpful. After soooo many bad experiences with the Willowbend location i refused to shop at Sephora anymore. They are the rudest and most unprofessional people i have come across in a Sephora. I wish I would Have come to this one sooner. So thank you Galleria staff for changing my mind about Sephora and being so amazing. Keep up the great work. Xoxo
You need to hire more kind people to work there. One girl completely ignored me when I was going to ask something to her. But the worst was the girl from the counter, she was extremly rude, I was so upset at the way she was talking to me. I didn't see her name, I wish I would've, so I could've post it here, but she was rolling her eyes at me, talking in a rude way. I'm definitely not coming back to this location.
THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION!! I went today around 6:50pm. They were about to close so I tried to hurry up a little bit. This lady was talking to another co-worker and they were being so rude to each other and mind you, they were talking about their own costumers! I would never come back to this location, and they do not give you the same attention as other stores. They are loosing their own costumers!
I have only been to this location once back in August 2016, and I was taken such good care of by Dolly. I believe she was a Senior Make Up Artist ? I highly recommend speaking with Dolly, she listened to all my concerns from make up to skin care, she helped address all of issues, not only gave me good tips but also hooked me up with some samples. Thank you Dolly for your outstanding service !!!
worst customer service ever! Was there on Saturday february 24th afternoon, the Manager on duty was rude - the make-up artist seemed afraid of her - walked without buying any of the products I had intended to buy and decided to go to Ulta - best customer service - friendly staff and competent advice. i would not recommend Sephora (near the Hilton) to any one.
I love the location at the Galleria. The staff is incredible. Every one is knowledgeable about every product. They will take time showing you how to apply, with quick tips and tricks on applications - like brows and lips. A lot of the employees are actual makeup artists. I really enjoy coming to this location. 10 glitter stars.
Worst service ever!!! i been at different Sephoras and it’s always nice and helpful but at this location they are rude i asked for help never got it the guy said he was busy and helped other people coming in, While i was standing there so i left when i was actually trying to make a big purchase.
The best products are from Sephora. I was smitten. I tried a concealer and foundation (both from Nars), and a woman named Maria helped me and flawlessly matched my concealer and foundation. She has excellent experience and offered relaxing suggestions. I enjoyed it and will visit Sephora again.
Wow, I just snuck over here mid day to pick up some things I had run out of. I was very impressed by the professional and trained staff. They cared, they were knowledgeable, and they left me alone when I wanted to be. It is so refreshing to see helpful workers back in the stores!
This location the staff greeted me when I came in. It was not pushy but welcoming . I was allowed to browse but there was staff ready to assist When I had questions one of the staff helped me a lot. It was one of the best experiences I have had at Sephora..
I had an appointment for a full face service. Deja was supposed to help me but seemed to not know what she was doing or didnt want to bother with me. So Enrique took over. He was great and very kind. I recommend asking for him if you want your makeup done.
Came in on a Saturday they were very busy for it being 11am I waited a little to get Assistance but that's what you should expect when coming in on a busy day. The lady that helped me was AMAZING!! I'm so happy with the way she took care of me.
This is my favorite Sephora so far I always get the best customer service and get treated like a queen. I keep coming back here because they always are stocked and are very knowledgable and helpful. I have even seen a few celebrities there!
First of all let me tell you Maria is bestest there !! I often go Sephora !! From so long I was looking for perfect foundation and concealer!! But whenever I go couldn't find any help !they just alwys suggest wrong shade !! But this
So helpful here! The man with the long hair and the man with the awesome festive looks! Helped me with everything I needed and made amazing suggestions. Love this Sephora! Way more helpful than any other location I've been to in the area.
They don’t smile always looking at you, it even makes you not want to try something on. And specially the lady on the fragrance side Indian/black lady with glasses. She is always giving you a mean look and tells you to not do something.
This SEPHORA store was nice to visit . Customer service was great and no one was following you around pressuring to buy anything which was nice and they had great sales going on. Stop by and support your local Beauty Store. …
Staff lacks entry level problem-solving skills. Acceptable for floor staff, and maybe even 1st level "team leads". Unable to get call-back or any help at all from "store manager" ...= completely unacceptable.
Sephora is my guilty pleasure place. I love it. Shout out to Maria for being super helpful and showing me a great new perfume! I hadn’t heard of kay ali and i already know I’ll be back for the full size soon!
The staffs are always very helpful. This time I bought a foundation from Sephora online but the color was too dark. They helped me choosing the right color. It was seamless and very easy to exchange the item.
Even though I arrived at the wee hours before closing & obviously a busy location, I still had an attentive sales rep help me what I was looking for. Especially for my skin type. It was fun & helpful!!
This was my 1st time going to Sephora and I loved it. The customer service was soooo awesome and the guy that helped me match my Fenty was fantastic! I recommend Sephora at the Dallas Galleria
Made an appoinment to get my make up done for a special event and once I showed up for my appointment they were not able to pull it up. Wasted time driving there. They were rude and careless.
Rene with the glasses is absolutely phenomal, he helped me choose the perfect makeup look for my 1 year anniversary. He has patients and actually recommends the best facial cleansers.
They are well beyond the scope of GREAT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!! I would recommend this location even if it was to just buy dirt!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars , I would.
Lots of kids running around, it's the mall so kinda expected but it's large and has items that our local one doesn't. I absolutely would drive too the Galleria again to visit
Out of sample cups ?? Management needs to be on top of their supply orders. Plus I went on a slow day and nobody offer to help. The girls were just standing by the register.
Should've maintained the crowd during shopping b'cuz it was waaaay to many ppl in the store, but overall they had what I needed and the staff was friendly and helpful!!
Maria was amazing!! She helped me so much she matched my foundation shade perfectly! Gave me so much knowledge on makeup since I am a beginner, come and see her!
Came here to buy an eyeliner, left satisfied with my selection. Also, it was my birthday so I got to choose my Sephora birthday gift, which was pretty nice too.
Renee and Farrah were absolutely amazing! Renee was very knowledgeable on hair products and Farrah was more than willing to help a sister out! Love this place!
Thank you Rian for taking your time, helping me find what I was looking for and ordering it for me. Excellent customer service with knowledge of the product!
Love their waterproof mascara. Warning for husbands. Y'all need to help carrying the basket more so you can appreciate their assortment and get less bored.
Devynne is the best!! She helped me colour match with patience and gave me the best shades. Highly recommend thir store. Very friendly and welcoming staff
Maria guided me and helped to pick up the best shade for my foundation , blush and lipstick shade . Have never felt so confident about my makeup shades .
Had a great experience with Gaby! She was so great and was an amazing help with helping me find the perfect items I needed! I absolutely loved her!!
This store is really well organized and the staff is nice, friendly, and always ready to help! I was able to get exactly what I wanted in no time.
For the amount of money you spend and for all the workers they have around, it amazes me how ignored you can be. Horrible, horrible service.
Lauren with the really orange spray tan was very disrespectful when asking a simple question about a product. Don’t recommend this location
Not much a Sephora shopper, visited with sister on 6/19/2022: Excellent customer service from all staff working around 2:30PM today. Very
Even though it was a busy day, I got helped by an amazing employee name Pamela. Super kind and helpful! 10/10 would go again just for her!
The staff is soooo friendly here, one of them recommended this liquid eyeshadow for a festival makeup look and I got so many compliments!
I knew what I needed, walked in and got her. Noone asked if I needed help which I'm not mad about that. Love the selection! Best brushes!
Was help my agent man named Ricky he help me with some skin question I had and gave me some samples definitely very helpful thanks Ricky
Crystal was very nice.I really liked her customer service she provided towards me. I was very pleased with my experience here with her.
What an eclectic group. I'M probably considered a "typical toxic white male " buy I enjoyed the service and am enjoying my cologne.
Safah knows what she’s doing and was really helpful and patient with me and my friend . Helped us find our perfect shades . …
Literally walked in, described what i needed to a rep & got help plus checked out within 5min. Great service and selections
Was accused of theft and directed the wrong way. It has been three weeks and headquarters has yet to resolve my complaint.
Segen helped me out today when looking to do matches! She was so sweet and a TON of help! Hope she sees this! Thanks :)
Its Sephora. Of course its great. They were out of my face wash and sent me home with samples so I wouldn't be without.
Workers were super nice and so patient and helpful, had Sabrina help me pick items that best suit me. thanksssss !! <3
Very helpful and friendly staff. My wife sent me to get some makeup for her. Staff helped me find it without an issue.
Need to restock some products, I travel a lot of miles and then I have arrived, don't find, that I'm looking for
I came to get some lip gloss so that I could be popping. Mission achieved! Deja was very kind and helpful ❤️
Cosmetic techs did my color match and helped me find the accessories I needed. Pleasant shopping experience.
Love that are attentive since you walk in. Always getting best beauty tips and they are always helpful.
Jewels was so helpful! Helped match my shades and gave great recommendations and was just so friendly!
My wife loves this store. Always has the perfumes or cosmetics she's looking for. Online too!
Brooke was wonderful helping me find three shades of lipsticks for changes in season.
Very helpful staff for Dr Dennis gross at this branch. Overall a good branch to visit
Sephora is a great place to get high-end cosmetics and beauty supplies for loved ones
It's like another Sephora, nice people help you to find the best options in beauty!
I didn't do any shopping here but it was a nice and clean store. Everyone was nice.
This was my first time at Sephora! I'll definitely be back! The money is worth it!
I love going to this store. I wish it was a bigger store always very crowded...
Consultant Rosie is world class. Professional & informative with the products.
There was two of black women super rude to customer without any reasons,,,
Love Sephora but they have the worst lighting ever to be a makeup store.
Kylie B helped me get a new foundation. She was super kind and helpful!
The store is amazing and the help were very tentative to our needs !!!
The employees are so rude at this location I had a very bad experience
Very helpful staff, the ambiance of Sephora never fails to amaze me.
Best place to work if you are a freelance makeup artist or to shoop
Didn't find what I was lookong for but the staff are very helpful
I love sephora cause they carry only good brands which I trust.
Good selection and my fiancée always has a good experience here
Terrible experience the past two time visits at this location.
