This is the place to go to when you want to get something special to drink, for yourself or for a friend or as a gift. It's also the SAQ I go to when my local shop doesn't have what I want. On this occasion I was looking for some unique Scotches that I couldn't find in my local shop. I was bowled-over when I saw the amazing assortment that this store on Mountain street offered. A whole wall of Scotch! What fun it was checking out all the bottles, and the staff were great-- knowledgeable and helpful. I spent a good half hour there just studying the bottles and enjoying myself. Obviously there's much more in this store than just Scotch and you can spend a long time ( and money!) here. Or, you can just walk around and imagine what you'll get some other day.

Les locaux sont lumineux, mais font un peu "clinique dentaire" en raison de la froideur de la non-décoration. Heureusement, le personnel est chaleureux et démontre une connaissance maîtrisée des produits qui est très nettement au-dessus de la moyenne. Endroit par ailleurs peu fréquenté, car situé sur une rue peu empruntée par les piétons et automobilistes. Avantage considérable, on y dispose de 60 minutes de stationnement intérieur gratuit (du moment qu'on y achète quelque chose). Sélection importante de vins de Qualité sur place et jolie salle de dégustation à l'étage. Une succursale méconnue de la SAQ à découvrir, rue De La Montagne un peu au Sud de la rue Sherbrooke.

Just had a wonderful experience @ this SAQ! Living downtown, we chose to shop @ Atwater SAQ because of ease with parking there. WOW!! SAQ on Montagne, has 1 hour free parking next door. Then you take the elevator directly up to the SAQ. Voila! Couldn’t be any easier!!! I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for. I had the pleasure of dealing with Elizabeth. Elizabeth double checked that they had the wine I was looking for and had it prepared. They have carts if you need to bring your order back to your car. Then you leave the cart in the garage. Valet guys were also super nice. What a pleasure!!! Highly recommend!!! CHEERS!!!

Was excited to see the extensive Old World collection they have in stock. Lots of wonderful (hard to find) wines. Was berated by the store clerk for "not saying please" after he approached me and started talking to me. I did not seek out his assistance, instead he took it upon himself to make me feel more unwelcomed here than I have anywhere on my travels. Terribly disappointed by this level of customer service in what is supposed to be a flagship location.

Beautiful SAQ Selection succursale with one of the best selection of hard to find liquor. It's still not what SAQ Signature used to be... Gosh I miss those times, but you'll be able to find the best stuff here. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly as well. Not sure what you're feeling for they'll know how to guide you to what fits your palette!

A high end liquor store with hard to find selections of various spirits and wine. Very posh with nice display. The staff is fairly knowledgable as well.They even have a selection of spirits that you can sample. Recommend that place , you won't regret it. Their store hours could be better, as they don't open till 22:00 hours and close a little bit early.

Hay una amplia variedad de vinos de todas partes del mundo (salvo de Canadá que hay muy poquito) a muy buenos precios. Tienen algunos vinos en muestra y puedes pedir probar para elegir mejor qué comprar. El personal no habla mucho Inglés, pero igual te ponen con alguien que se maneja más (o tiene mas ganas de hablarlo, que también puede ser)

They have great selection and I found all that I needed but being told about how that place has higher price and/or better quality products compared to other SAQs by 6 occasions by their staff... Don't. Just say "No we don't have this/that" instead. It really doesn't put you in an inclusive type of customer service.

This is an amazing store. I'm a toddler when it comes to wine and I ended up having an amazing conversation/lesson with the staff. The collection seems impressive and most are obviously on the expensive side. If you ever go there, find Darren Ludwig. He's such a helpful gentleman and very knowledgeable about wine.

Hi Today went downtown for shoping , Took the opportunity to visit the SAQ on De La Montagne , they have impressive variety compared to the others I have reviewed. My date selected a Bollinger/ Rosé Champagne Was there around 5.15-30 parking was , surprisingly easy . Staff is friendly Cheers Mike

This SAQ has one of the best selections I have seen. It's right next to Four Seasons which is highly convenient. The selection of alcohol is immense. I was able to find some of the hard to find wines and whisky at a decent price and with relative ease. Highly recommended

Open spaces, great design. Amazing variety and great options in prices and quality. The refrigerated area at the end is well segmented by regions. The whole store is inviting. Employees let you walk through and browse without pressure. 5 étoiles.

Très belle succursale de la SAQ avec beaucoup de choix, dont plusieurs bouteilles très rares. Les produits sont bien mis en valeur. C'est dégagé et pas encombré. On adopte sans hésitation. La SAQ la plus soignée que nous avons visité.

Small store but super variety of liquor and wines ... cheap to super expensive... they have on display a 7886 $ huge bottle of champagne . Very small outlet , if you blink you may miss it ... below demaisoneuve on rue de la Montague

This SAQ is a big store with a wide selection of scotches and wines. They have liquors that you won't find at SAQ Express locations. For example they had 5 different Japanese whiskeys, whereas at other locations I only saw 1 or 2.

Une sélection de vins impressionnante. Une gamme de prix très large. Un personnel attentif et de qualité. Des bornes de renseignements numériques et un espace propre et bien ordonné. Une SAQ comme on les aime.

Sélection extraordinaire de vin. Par exemple, il y a 3 sections pour la vallée du Rhône. Les prix débutent de très raisonnable jusqu'à $$$ selon vos besoins. Plusieurs choix de scotch Glenrothes (mon préféré).

Excellent - and pricey - selection of wines. Picked up some chardonnay and a couple smaller bottles for a good price. Very organized location and clean location, with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Stock low ... not as exciting a visit as per usual. Staff somewhat disengaged and not as helpful. One still seemed terrified of risk of contracting Covid even though safety measures were in place
