Points go for customer service: - the guy from the staff responsible for our daughter’s birthday party was too young and inexperienced. He could not remember anything what needs to be done and he was too slow. - we were waiting for 45 min for the lanes to be switched on. - kid’s size bowling bowls were not prepared. There were no bowls next to our 4 lanes. The staff was not helping with the bowls. The parents had to find kids’ bowls themselves, so the kids can finally start the game. -we have ordered kids’ drinks in the beginning of the party and we were begging to bring them again and again. Received our drinks one hour and a half later!!!! When the party was almost over!!!! You cannot do that to the kids! Some of the kids were crying because they were so thirsty! This is totally unacceptable! I could have prepared bottles of water for the kids myself but was told that I’m not allowed to bring drinks from outside. Despite this, kids didn’t receive their drinks till the end of the party! I had to stand with my husband by the till asking for the drinks and bringing them ourselves because they were still not ready! -received pizza too late. We have ordered pizza for the kids and for the parents at the same time. Were waiting for kids’ pizza forever, and even longer for the parent’s one. The pizza supposed to arrive in the middle of the party, not in the end. - was asking the staff to bring our cards to play the games again and again. Received them right in the end of the party when some of the kids were already leaving.

Visited here for the first time in years for a fundraiser evening. The first lane we were in worked flawlessly. Second lane we played in had trouble registering strikes and would give a 9 instead, which we then had to fix. It wasn't a huge deal as we don't play that well anyway so there weren't too many strikes to fix. :) The shoes were a bit worn out and finding balls with big enough holes for my hands was a challenge. However, that's no different than any other place. The one gripe I had was that the fundraiser was for cancer research and at one point there was a cancer survivor giving a touching speech. In the middle of it, the workers at the food area were guffawing loudly and having a grand old time. I had to tell them that it was a very bad time for them to do so and they did stop but the fact that the workers were so out of touch with what is going on in the place was disappointing. Finally, the alcoholic drinks were not very strong. Especially the mules seemed very low on alcohol and heavy on the ginger beer. However, they are also not too expensive for a captive audience situation at $8.95. Overall, still a pretty good, clean bowling alley+arcade for family fun.

On 3/12/2023 I had a bad experience at the cafe. I went to order food for my children and family. Racheal was being very disrespectful and very unprofessional. While serving guest, she was touching money with bare hands and touching food without washing hands or wearing gloves. When brought to her attention, she gets upset and got very unprofessional. She walks off getting smart mouth and yelled at her co worker. I ask for the manager and she states I’m the manager and I asked for her boss. She wouldn’t get her boss so I asked another co worker to get the Woodland Bowling Manager over the cafe. I let the Manager know that Racheal was touching food bare hands without washing or wearing gloves is very unsanitary. The manager agreed and said she would talk to her about sanitation. There were a gentleman workers trying to help her and she got upset yelling in front of customers telling the gentleman she doesn’t need him helping when she has line full of people. I will not be coming back to this bowling alley again.

I am definitely an amateur bowler. I joined a bowling league with my husband and his co-workers and I was a little nervous about joining a league. We went to practice and I needed to buy a ball a week before the league started-the pro shop was so on point with customer service-they were personable and they weren’t pushy. The guy from Jersey is definitely passionate about the game and gave me a few tips when I threw my ball for the first time. He’s great. My husband and I bowled a few games after we purchased my ball. We grabbed a beer at the bar. The bartender was so sweet and remembered me when we came back for our first league game. Her guest first mentality alone is a reason to come to woodland. The initial welcome meeting we had for the league with the GM and staff was so welcoming and set the tone for what to expect-kudos to the staff and leadership for establishing a fantastic culture and customer service. It’s hard to find these days.

I have been here before, but it looks like the quality of employees are very low. The bartender with the blue hair - rude, no customer service - and stated she could not print a receipt. Carded my niece but not the other very young people I saw getting service. While we were putting on our shoes as the game ended, an attendant decided it was the perfect time to remove the balls and reload them. If one of those balls had fallen on my or a family members feet, we would have a serious problem. He did not even say excuse me. I would not have noticed that, but group adjacent to us game ended, and he never approached them. They even stayed and enjoyed some conversation. The attendant was nowhere in sight to interrupt them and reload the balls. I will not be back to this location. The service has changed, and it is not an improvement. I would rather go back to Hindel.

My son is 12 years old and he loves bowling at Woodland Bowl! He has autism and the staff and accommodations make it special. As a child they provide the rails and launchers lol i'm not sure what they're called but he's able to put the ball up there and it rolls down onto me alley. My mom goes with us and sits in the comfortable seat watching our score and usually quilting. It's huge so it's not so packed but you can't enjoy yourself and if you go at the right times you can have plenty of space between the lines we love it so much that we had his 12th birthday party at this particular location was really cool. They provided him with that big orange bowling pin that everyone was able to sign a table with pizza and drinks and an attendant to make sure everyone was having fun. The kids got tickets to the arcade and it was very very reasonable in price.

  • Emily Ayasha

I've been here a couple times now. And the kids always have a great time (Aside from the normal fighting over who's winning.) You can always find a coupon online which is nice, but the bowling prices are super reasonable! Every time I search for bowling places to take the kids we always end up deciding on Woodland since there's extra stuff to do, plus the regular prices for open bowl are cheaper than other places I've seen. And when you're entertaining 7+ kids that's important to save some money. If you're planning to go mini golf or laser tag, check groupon! They usually have a deal with posted! The food is good too....we always order a ton of snacks and it's always good. And the staff is always nice! We'll go again for sure! Even my 2 year old likes it!! She has a blast!!

I enjoyed bowling at Royal Pin Woodland due in part to its laid back yet clean and modern atmosphere. It was affordable which is important for me, but also I felt like it was an experience that I will remember. My party consisted of 3 adults including myself and we bowled during the day, mostly on a spur of the moment type thing. But it was nice because we got in and bowled pretty consistently for an hour and then headed out. We did get some snacks which were tasty and fairly affordable. Although I would definitely recommend using utensils for eating to limit any exposure to germs. Finger foods and bowling are not really a combination you want, especially with children. I would recommend this place for anyone, seems very nice and well run.

I asked for a lane that was not next to a bunch of screaming kids this morning. She put me on the end by myself- which was awesome. The very next family of 6- with 4 little boys, 3 were toddler aged, were put right next to me. I get it, it’s a bowling alley. I gathered my stuff & walked up to the counter passing a bunch of unassigned - unused lanes to request a lane change. I rather just walked out of the establishment because I understand this kind of office humor. I’m just really glad I got to be one of the lucky ones chosen to be made part of it, thank you again ms, I hope I can give you a reason to point & laugh at me again in the future.

  • Jeff S

Horribly mismanaged, rude staff. Called and asked if they had open lanes and I was told yes, first come first serve. Arrived 15 mins later and was told it would be 1.5hr wait. A couple behind us said they were told there were lanes open as well. The lady at the counter acted annoyed at us and said she could take our phone number and text when lanes were available. We waited a bit and just sat in disbelief as over half of the bowling lanes were open and not being used. The couple behind us then got their name called ahead of us and that was enough to leave and never come back.

  • Tyler Games

First off, no refills on soft drinks is outrageous. To charge almost $4.00 for a medium drink and not offer refills is a rip off. And then the lane we were on had to be serviced 3 different times after kicking the pins down the alley causing the 6 of us to have to go and talk to the front desk to have them give us more time, as we sat and waited using our time to have the lane fixed. Seems that the tech could radio the desk and let them know to add time. But no, we had to take the extra step. Really annoying and ruined the experience for our group, dry mouth and all.

  • jewls bratt

My son's friend had his birthday party here! We had a great time, when it was time for cake & presents, we moved into the diner area. We were able to have our own little area away from everyone else. The parents were able to bring in their own cake! The staff was friendly and the bowling alley was nice and clean!! ❤ Definitely would recommend this place! Another benefit that was great, there is an arcade right there so you could play other games if you wanted to! Outside they have miniature golf and I believe go carts too! We had a wonderful, fun filled Sunday!

  • Amber Long

It is $50 an hour on the weekend. Only two of the kids were bowling so that is quite expensive. The seating area was very small as well. There was 5 of us and only enough seating in our lane for two adults. We were able to utilize the other seats but if that lane was rented we would have been stuck with two seats for 5 people . The lanes seemed really warped. Even when switching balls they would wobble a ton. The food was quite expensive. We got the sampler platter which was $27 before tax. There was a decent amount of food and it was cooked well.

  • Christopher Prach

The pro shop is amazing, ray and Joel rock there! Bought some balls had them drilled perfect and purchased a bag. But holy cow the experience with the blonde lady with glasses at the front.. Went to the gal at front desk and politely asked if they had tape, pro shop closed at that point. Very rudely was told no. I then shortly came back and ask if they hand bandaids and was told by the same individual that “they can’t supply latex to customers” the attitude and tone was so uncomfortable, unfortunately we won’t be coming back

  • Dianca Anthony

Pretty cool atmosphere for family and friends, my personal opinion I think there should be a cut off time for kids after a certain time like from 10-midnight maybe adults only because we couldn't enjoy our area due to a LARGE party of kids running around but nonetheless everything plays in perspective when it's comes down to running a business INCLUDING employees, and there are a FEW older individuals who you can tell hate their job and it shows through their customer service other wise they would have gotten a 5 out of 5.

  • S Minor

First off let me say. Woodland is a great bowling alley. The best in the city from my estimation. The reason for my 1star rating is they’ve made the determination to no longer support their working league bowlers with discounted weekend rates to practice. $50/hr per lane weekend rates force a Woodland League bowler like me practice and pay full rate elsewhere. For me practicing 3 games once a week is an extra $5-600 a year versus if I bowled out of another house. Unfortunately next year I’ll have to bowl elsewhere.

  • Andy Davis

This business is in serious need of management to step in in its food and drink service. Waited just under an hour for a single order of chicken tenders, and if any manager was actually attentive to how their company is operating and had any self-respect about their business, they’d fire at least half the staff so they could have employees working who actually realize they should be MAKING FOOD rather than stand around and back-sass customers who are justifiably frustrated with their service.

  • Dennis Swender

The family had a nice time. It was nice that the bumpers could be programmed easily for the kids and even turned off midgame if they wanted. Everything was clean and nice. Had a little trouble finding a ball with larger size finger holes. I gave 4 stars because the cashier didn't seem to know what was going on. We had a great coupon, but I still think we were over charged. He also couldn't figure out how to get my transaction to count on their app. Didn't try any food, but maybe next time.

  • Krista Wanko

Great place to bring the family bowling! Love their new bowling balls that note the weight right on them! Hubby and I love the indoor arcade where we can get our basketball competition on! The food is decent and they feature local sun king beers on tap. The laser tag course is another great option for fun, and there is a decent mini golf course outside (haven't used that in 4 years, at least). Good place to spend a dreary day!

  • Dieria Moore

This is a nice place for entertainment but make sure you ask questions because their advertising is misleading. Made a reservation online and thought I was paying one price for a laser tag and bowling package only to find out the real price when I arrived at the venue. Their specials for laser tag is not for each game but for each person so be weary of that. Sometimes the staff can come off rude when you ask for clarification.

  • Caitlin Reed

The 2 older ladies that work the front desk are so incredibly rude! They were super rude to the group in front of us and thought it was because of the group, but nope! They were just as rude to us and had so much attitude and the worst part is, I think one of them was a manager. Why would any company hire such HATEFUL people to work the front desk where they are required to greet and assist customers??

  • karl ehrlicher

Been here a few times with friends and get set up immediately. They have a great system for keeping names/scores. You can even just set certain names to automatically put up or take down bumpers. Lasertag, mini golf, golf carts, etc. A good place to hang out with friends and family of any age Im not in the competitive bowling seen but have seen posters to accommodate for the top tier players as well.

  • Lauren Frances

I highly recommend Woodland bowling for groups! I had a large group of 55 teenagers and we did their unlimited bowl and pizza package. It was super easy to book and I even had to change days, and they were very accommodating. They were super responsive and made everything simple. The food was great and nicely presented and all of the workers were phenomenal. We had a great time!!

  • State 1

It's always too crowded, so they should probably try putting a cap on their occupancy, especially since people r still contracting covid. Also this location surprisingly doesn't have a nice nor friendly manager to speak to customers, never have an issue so that your experience is good bc this manager thinks he's in the streets of the "hood" when he speaks to customers.

  • David Franklin

I have only been here once so please take that and consideration. When you read this. I can tell you that it is a very nice bowling alley. They have plenty of Boeing balls for your use. I went there for a social club gathering to bowl and had a really great time. Everything was extremely modern, and it had a computerized score board above our bowling station.

  • un known

My family had such a terrific time if you want to place where you can go and have fun and get good exercises this is the they have and a rate of amusement they have bowling Putt-Putt laser tag and real go-karts they get up to 40 mph they go so fast they make you wear a helmet and a neck brace it is so much fun if you have a need for speed this is the place

  • Fabian Ortiz

OMG, this place is so big you have no excuse not to got to it. They have more than 60 plus lanes to blow. The place it's mind blown. Great place to take your family and friends to have a great time during the winter or summer. P.s. make sure you bring a warm jacket they keep this place super, super cold ❄️ and it's what makes this place great.

  • Molly Peterson

The team at Royal Pin was phenomenal to work with for our holiday party, especially Casey. She handled everything we needed and was so easy to work with. Her attention to detail and her service to our team during a busy night full of holiday parties was outstanding. Thank you for helping make an easy and memorable night for our team!!!

  • Talent Brokers

Great place and clean enjoyed myself ran into International Recording artist @KcaneMarkco bowling a few frames. He was extremely friendly to us Disabled Veterans helping us Bowl. The pizza was not the greatest gave upset stomachs. Parking lot was clean too. The doors were not ADA some of us had hard time opening and hold doors

  • Qiandra Nixon

We arrived around 9:45pm. The facility closed at 11pm. We were told we had 40 minutes to bowl which was fine. We felt the staff were trying to deter us from bowling because they were tired. The staff delivered poor customer service to my family. Staff stated they were ready to go home and just being outright rude.

  • Keith Allen

Really nice large bowling alley very clean prices were reasonable $50 an hour up to 6 people per line she's included I thought that was about right for a weekend good evening. They also had plenty of on site security which is a good thing these days.. Bowling shoes could use an updating a little stinky and old

  • Jim Lewis

Thai place is unreal. 70 lanes! And they were almost all full at 7pm on a Wednesday night. They also have a really cool multi-level laser tag facility - including a Limitless VR option which was fun, and mini golf (outdoors), a small arcade, and karting in the building next door. What else could you want?

  • AJ Silva

Nice bowling alley, come here at times on weekdays around 5, that actually pans out to be a good time because there are plenty of open lanes. Venue is clean and have had friends order bowling bowls at the shop on premise. They also offer customization services at the shop. Overall, nice experience.

  • denetha quarles

I suggest that you make reservations prior online. It was very easy and convenient. When we arrived our lanes were ready with our names lit up on the board. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only draw back was waiting to check in, the line was long so I suggest you arrive early for checkin.

  • Kate Bordenkecher

Taylor did a fantastic job hosting our corporate event and ensuring we were all taken care of. The entire group had a great time and we will definitely be coming back for future group events. Thank you Taylor for such a memorable experience! - Kate & Amy

  • Nicole O'Sullivan

I have been going here since I was a kid. Love the remodel/update! Bowling, arcade and bar are all great. Recently there seems to be an abundance of people just hanging out and not actually bowling. Taking up space and seats for oaying customers.

  • Levi Gervais

Very nice and clean large bowling center for the serious all the way down to the first time bowler when lanes are available. Did a great job hosting JrGold. The Royal Pin centers are very nice and worth a visit when you are in their area.

  • Nick Pettit

Came here for a family members bday party. Decent food, but abysmal service and rude staff. Messed up orders, 50c for a cup of water per child, rude staff at the front door passing out shoes. Put a damper on a very nice party.

  • Rafael Polidoro

A very good place to do kids birthday parties. The price is fair for bowling, arcade and the most fun of all - laser tag. The people are very nice, especially the restaurant staff. I do appreciate them a lot. Enjoy

  • R.A.M. Lifestyle and Marriage

Went to celebrate our b-day. My husband and I and some of our closest friends had a ball. Friendly laser tag. We played in the arcade. Even thou some games didn't work we had no complaints. The bar was a bonus

  • Trish Byrum

This place is better then our southside option. The bowling side is really great, but the mini golf seems to be a bit run down. We found a raccoon on the course and the staff had no idea what to do.

  • Marc Wolner

I had an absolute blast. I am one of the worst bowlers there are. But I really had a good time. It was economically. And it was fun. If you ever want to do something. Go bowling. 96th and keystone

  • beau danner

Great service and really fun time for us. Very reasonably priced as well. The kids love the scoreboard with the different themes. Almost everyone not actively bowling was masked which is a plus

  • Jarel Washington

Laser tag and bowling was fun. If you do play laser tag pay attention to the power ups and the employee playing against you. I suggest staying on top of them so they can't get a high score.

  • Kelly Sky

very big bowling center with nice couches to sit on while you bowl, they have lazer tag and a HUGE game room and I think miniature golf next door it was cold when we went. had a great time

  • AuctionSellerNetwork LLC

Pirates Quest LAZER TAG inside at Woodland Bowling is AWESOME. Big room, 2 floors, clean, friendly staff at $6 for Unlimited play was great. Long playing sessions, food and drink specials!

  • Leintz Belony

Wow way to many people. Trash was full and i saw multiple employees just walking around Women's bathroom had no soap. . I had to give 1 stars cause it wouldn't let me say no stars

  • Sydney S

Awesome experience here! They have a variety of activities available for the entire family. Mini golf, kart racing and bowling as well as arcade games. I will definitely be back!

  • Kelvin Campbell

Honestly my girlfriend and I had an amazing time, food took just a little log to cook but I was very busy besides all that great place to bowl definitely suggested

  • Milan Sadaula

We had our Son’s birthday at Royal Pin Woodland, kids enjoyed the bowling. We liked the birthday package they provided. I think it’s a good place for such events.

  • Serenity Reynolds

i ordered 3 burgers with lettuce, went to eat the one and found a green bug. this is disgusting. you need to clean your kitchen and make sure your food is fresh.

  • Terri Hill Holt Bey

Great place! Food was great staff was good! Clean bathrooms, but the rental shoes were dated. But overall nice place going back to try out their laser tag area!

  • Janaule Young

More expensive than I would've guessed it to be, certainly if you try and do all the things with your kiddos plus eat. We had lots of fun though

  • M. Strickland

Staff friendly and helpful. Very nice and clean and the shoes weren't worn out looking or dirty. Very nice lanes and quality bowling balls.

  • Mike Viklund

Bowling was fine. Beers were slow. People at the counter were rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. I’ll go somewhere else next time

  • T Lane

Food, beer/wine, kid games, miniature golf, and especially laser tag are all well organized, not just bowling. Great for kid partied.

  • autumn haskell

Loved it here definitely coming back with my friends, the staff looked super tiered an was still chill about everything an was nice

  • Marlana Beishline

Bowling is great! Arcade is on the lower end of good. It's not bad but stuff was out of order and ticket wins are on the low side.

  • Amer Duric

I give this place 4 stars, its nice .. it can get busy and they charge by hour. Pizza is good and they have cold beer.

  • John Wessel

This place was out of this world fantastic, they have it all here for the ultimate in entertainment. We will be back.

  • Rhonda Veasley

Bowling balls got stuck in lanes 7 and 8 about 2 times while playing. We eventually had to move to different lanes.

  • Amanda Smith

They charged me 150 for 2 hours and then argued with me and said we was there for 3 hours they knew they messed up

  • Granny Robin

Pizza took a little longer than expected, but fun,and a lot of games in game room didn't work kids still had fun

  • Seth Brown

Very clean, well runn and in great repair, but it seemed expensive to me. $50 for three people to bowl an hour?
