Lets start with how confusing it is that rouge is not nicks. Keep in mind people I am not from this area at all. Anyway I go to the bar today because it's Saturday and I love college football. I was alone. There were a lot of college kids there and it was loud. I don't mind I'm young too. The bartender never came over to me and there was nice waitress who did. She explained you have to order at nicks and they will bring your food over. The bartender got an attitude with me because of a mis understanding about what drink I wanted. He was all upset like as if making a drink would make him lose money. He was rude. And when I ask to speak with a manager he said no manager. I have never not tipped someone in my life because I use to be a bartender / server. I still did but if my food didn't came out so fast I would canceled my order and left. I will never go to this place again. The bartender was young Kid was fitted hat. So rude. Good thing nicks food is so damn amazing.

Rouge and Nick's Crispy Taco often get mixed up as Nick's is inside of Rouge. That being said, they are different establishments. Nick's makes the tacos, Rouge serves the drinks, plays the music and has the TV's. This is a great place to start off the evening as they have good drinks, a DJ later in the night, and sports are always on above the bar. Plus you can get a taco or two. The service here is good and later on they move some of the tables to make a bit of a dance floor. Good bar on Polk.

Love this joint, went here for Taco Tuesdays, they had $2 Tacos from Nick's Crispy Tacos, which was ONO, meaning delicious, flushed it down with 2 Coronas for $6, that's a deal!! Also been here for all major sporting events, it's the only place where you feel like you're at home away from home, the staff are like family!! We also stayed late last Saturday night and it was perfect, music, ambiance, service and atmosphere, I would rather be here than anywhere else.

Went to Taco Tuesday. People get confused, is it Nick's or is it Rouge? Nick's Tacos is inside Rouge. Much like how there's an indian restaurant in Kennedy's in North Beach. Back to the review, it's a great place for good tacos, and affordable drinks. It's amazing how they are able to deliver the food to you in the bar no matter how crowded it is. Rouge has lots of TVs for sports games.

This is THE place to go on a tuesday night. Sometimes there is a line out the door starting at 7-8pm to get tacos but also drinks. Great taco tuesday location with a great crowd. Not so much of a club, but more of a place to grab drinks and food with friends and meet new people. Prices are reasonable and pretty cheap for taco tuesday.

This place is really small so it does tend to get really crowded on the weekends. But the music is really good, the bartenders are super chill. The drinks are pretty pricey but they make it super strong so you're getting what you're paying for. The decor is nice, the bathrooms are usually clean when I go

Went there last night with my friend. When the last round of drink was called we both asked for one more , the only difference my request was flat out rejected and my friends was taken . My friend is White , I am not . Not sure what to conclude from this . Not going back to this place ever .

The drink I ordered was made to literal perfection. The bartender was super helpful, helping me navigate dance bars in the area. Doesn't hurt that she was a cutie also. Highly recommend

ROUGE IS SO FUN. I went for santa con and went in a banana suit for some reason?? But I was dancing in the back for hours. So much space for such a good time …

Weak bloody Mary and too cheap to offer a short draft beer "back" to cleanse the pallet before trying the food. Nice bartender, though. Moving on down Polk st...

They have multiple dance floors, Banda, hip-hop, and Country, plus a restaurant with decent tacos, And 3 bars!!

Bouncers are quite agressive and the floor security is brutal. I'm 21+ and still felt harassed. Avoid.

NIce venue, good music, gets pretty crowded at times. But the vibe is fun to get down here.

Too loud for conversations, Mexican food is mediocre. But at least it's not greasy.

Fish taco and fried chicken taco nicks way …
