Prices are decent. Obviously when looking to save a buck or two I am not expecting triple-A customer service, but wow what a poor display on this occasion. In the course of a four minute wait in line I watched the cashier Marcella be rude and inappropriate with every single customer ahead of me. A few examples: she announced one customer's subtotal unsolicited for all to hear and seemed to take delight in making inappropriate comments on his budget and what he should or shouldn't wear; she called a next party of customers then barked at them for stepping forward before she was ready, she complained in front of customers about other employees (who as far as I could tell were being perfectly reasonable). Well before it was my turn to be mistreated she had convinced me to go buy the same items at a competitor. I won't be making any purchases here if I see this woman working in the store and I'm disinclined to check very often.
I love Ross for it's cute clothes and great household items at unbeatable prices, but this particular Ross is not my favorite to go to. Lately the shelves have been half empty and not much selection to choose from. I have been looking for a baking pan sized 11" by 7" and they had about 5 of the 9X13" pans the first time I looked but that was it. Tried again a week later and there were only a couple pans but lots of muffin pans. There are other Ross stores with much better selection. I ended up going to the one at Tempe Marketplace and found what I was looking for. Should have went there in the first place.
Everything is super cramped the aisles fit one person at a time and I can never look around properly because I feel rushed when another person wants to go into the same aisle as me. It's always very messy (regardless of day), merchandise on the floor, items clinging to their hangers for dear life, and the racks with clothes hanging over them. I don't want to be reaching over and under to look at clothes. Because of this unnecessary hassle I no longer shop for clothes there. I only go for the few good deals on pet supplies and art supplies (Otherwise this place would get a 1 star)
Ross is a good place to shop if you want designer clothes at a reasonable price. I myself still won't pay the prices that are discounted I still think it's too high I guess I'm just not into designer anymore. The same pair of pants at Walmart where $7 / $28 at Ross. I did get some nice hot household items there that were reason live reasonably priced. And I will go back there again I got my husband some nice shirts but as far as getting me anything I just thought the prices were too high.
Rude customer service employees, both were standing there and talking about who should take the next customer etc... it doesn't matter, you're both working at the service desk so that mean's you have work! She was very rude about a tag that was taken off by one of their employee when I bought the shirt, telling me to keep it on for next time? I told her it was taken off by the first person who ringed me up and I didn't take it off. Didn't smile at all, monotone just like a robot.
I went there recently during a busy weekend. Not only were the social distancing protocols followed by the store and employees, but the customers as well. ... Plus I was happy to report that the sales may be even better than before. I bought 4 pairs of shorts (1 cargo, 1 workout, 2 great name brand) and 1 excellent running shoes all for $70.00! You could not beat that anywhere! ... Thank you, Ross for a great experience at your store.
The selection in the store was very poor. The store had no dress pants. Only jeans and athletic pants were available. The selection of dresses was very poor. There were barely any selections for a plus-size person. This is one of the few times that I left a Ross without buying anything. This was probably the worst Ross that I have ever been in. I was so disappointed as I was really looking forward to it.
This Ross had next to nothing on its shelves. Highly disappointed. Before Christmas their excuse was “supply chain issue”. Weeks into January now it’s “because of Christmas”. There was hardly anything to begin with. You will seriously feel like you are in a store that is going out of business. This store is full of the scraps that no one else wanted. Couldn’t find anything that I was looking for here.
It's a treasure hunt, never know what you are going to get. Not sure how I feel about the first greeting you received is from the security guard on duty. Not sure if its polite or a quick interview on whether they should be worried about you while you are shopping. The only frustration is how long the check out lanes can take and the fact that any returns take precedence over buying customers.
I've been to this Ross location a few times and in comparison to some of them that are in the lower Phoenix City area this one I must say has been the most clean and organized.and as always I checked their prices against the stores around them such as Target and Walmart. I have found the staff here to be delightful. And when it comes to returning items, with a receipt, I have had no issues.
I like coming in here on Tuesdays for their 10% senior discount that essentially pays the tax. I've scored several pairs of sketchers for $30 each that I wore for 4 years! Lots of interesting discounted kitchen and cooking items (WHY pay more?), household goods, of course clothing, and electronics. Not just a clothing store! Check out what they have b4 paying full price elsewhere.
Bad customer service Cashiers are gossiping around to each about their customers out loud and security that’s in the front door looks like a 15 yr old kid super immature too he goes to the cashier to gossip out loud too ,super unprofessional, it looks like they hire unprofessional immature young kids to work at this Ross location , won’t be coming back to this place .
I actually had a good experience here for once, found a nice new inexpensive backpack not infested with fleas or bed bugs or whatever was all over my clothes I bought last time I shopped here. There is a homeless tweakers problem in this neighborhood... And they need to euthanize them all... They aren't humans anymore around here.
The last time I was in a Ross store I went in found what I wanted and was out this time I went in found what I wanted and waiting in line for 10 to 15 minutes before another register even opened up waited another 10 minutes before I left the store seems to me management should work on keeping the lines shorter rather than longer
I've been to several of these stores around the Valley, and this particular one leaves the most to be desired. Mediocre-at-best selection in an uncomfortable atmosphere. The quality of these stores seems to be contingent upon the surrounding neighborhood: I'd recommend going instead to those in more affluent parts of town.
Hi this store location has been consistently going down hill. I have gone here over 5x in the past two months and the store looks like they are closing. I see empty sections all over and the new shoes seemed to be worn already and throughout the entire store is a shortage of products.
Greeted by a friendly gent coming in. They have nice inventory. The reaso restroom though LAWD! It's needs some saving. I think you can tell a lot by a restroom. This place i give it a low sanitary, health hazard score. It's not that difficult to maintain it. Please do a better job!
Not the worst Ross but not the best either. Registers are usually well staffed so you can check out within 8 minutes. Toy aisle is limited but sufficient. Many dresses but I am not impressed with the 90s style flower prints lately. Name brand dresses they usually have: Calvin Klein.
Have always been treated well and respectfully. The girls help me if I need help, am dissable adult and I can shop there very comfortable since Have some problems with my knees without having to rush, they have been very nice to me even when they are busy. Thanks . …
They are rude. Got followed around store by security just because I wasn't dressed up. I spent alot of $ in there. 3rd time they've done that to me. I'm not returning to that location. I on average spend 5 to $1000 a month at Ross. I think I might start shopping elsewhere
Sometimes I forget about Ross For all my Home needs. I didn’t buy but the prices were amazing and recognized some pretty good brands. My only complaint is that they are all consistently a mess all the time. Literally nothing is organized. I wonder how they do inventory.
Ross has some good deals if you're on a budget. The teen/juniors selection always has something my kid likes which is nice because having a teen can get expensive. It's not always easy to find the diamond in the rough "just right" outfit, but I always enjoy the hunt.
Store was clean and organized. Staff was friendly and efficient. Had no problems finding what I was looking for and paying rather easily. However, with any Ross available items rotate contantly. It's best to check often if you are looking for something particular.
Nae Cared More about getting Chris number instead of paying attention to the customer. That was in a rush for a funeral after work. Those few moment matter. But you’d rather get his number. And no even care to ask about me. But turn around ask ask for his name.
Really good place to shop good brands of stuff for decent prices. I would not recommend to visit this store if you are 30x30 for jeans or less. Usually there are very good shirts from small to XL, shoes ranging from 8 all the way up to 12. Good place for gifts
Good variety of clothing and household items to choose from. Stores are always being replenished with new items. So theres always a good reason to return. Prices are good for the quality. Check out is fast and friendly. Good place to shop for a quick find.
Good customer service, nice selection of items. I had a return from before COVID shut down. Even with receipt the items were marked down to .29 cents and such. Had to laugh, oh well! I kept the items to donate to Fresh Start Women's Foundation.
Have never encountered a more rude person than the dressing room employee today ! I didn’t know I was supposed to check in with her before trying on clothes and she was nowhere to be found . She started shouting at me as I was almost to the
I grew up going to this Ross location when I lived in the area. This was my first visit to the store in over 12 years. The organization of the store has improved immensely. Years ago there would be clothes strewn about the floors or clothes
Store under new management. It was clean and in order, was ask if I could be helped to find anything (deer in the headlight look as it was my first time there). I was pleased to find selections in all sizes as many Ross store have tons of
I stood in what i assumed was the checkout, to be told it was elsewhere. They're were no signs indicating where it was. No there weren't a line of people to follow. They're was a woman I thought was shopping. I guess what abhorred me the
I love Ross! But THIS location- it's in the afternoon with 1 cashier... really?? On a Friday. So was in line for 20 min. And... the "loss prevention" girl...aka security- keep it real. She sat in front of the store with her shoe off
Not bad at all good selection decent prices the store itself is organized and the staff was polite. I didn't find what I was looking for but I seen a few things I'd love to go back for especially in the home department.
Came in here for dog toys...left with dog toys, success! We bought a memory foam mattress for our dog kennel...$15!...a few doors down at Petco...$63...thank you Ross and say hi to Chandler for me. Love Joey!
I love this location right here. You'll find many different styles and a most extensive selection than in other locations. Always clean and organized. Can probably improve a little in customer service tho..
I like the selection kava, but a few times I have gotten home and have paid for an item but they have not taken the thing off and I have to go all the way back. That bothers me. I don't have time to waste.
So I'm a frequent customer here and im using the bathroom!! And I get a knock on the door told to hurry up by a associate who works here! Well sometimes it take a little to use the bathroom! So not cool!!
Rude employee Leticia needs to get a little more training on customer service and how to speak to people. Dropped all my itmes that i was going to purchase and left. Will never return to this location.
In the Parking lot there was a beautiful sunset. The store tho really didnt have great stuff. We are here on business/vacation and didnt find one good outfit. Staff was very nice and helpful.
The store itself is great, you can find some treasures, only.problem are the filthy customers who destroy the store. I truly feel bad for the staff who have to clean up after grown adults.
Good organized store, employees can be kinda stuck up and rude towards closing, but who can blame em dealing with all of us criminals considering their prices are such a steal! …
Found a dress for my wife with no issues. Staff wasn't terribly helpful, however they were not rude either. A little disorganized and in need of cleaning, but the prices can't be beat.
I love Ross! This location could've stocked some more girls shorts especially sizes 10/12 for this time of year. Home decor was delightful and an abundance of great smelling candles.
I'd give this place a 5 star rating but I don't do the shopping here haha my wife n kids do and they find many things to buy here haha so it's a good place to go for a good price.
Store is organized. Not too crowded during evening hours. Not very many clothing choices at this location. Maybe if you catch them after they get a recent shipment of product.
Just like at Walmart. One register open and a big line.. ugh. But the cashier was great and kept a smile even though you can see her stress about no other staff helping her.
Was a beat up store. Kids were running around like wild animals. I liked the concept of the store itself, might have been a better experience in another location
What a horrible out of place merchandise! The place is a pig sty unfortunately, not enough help and the shopper's are nasty people. Stay away from this store.
Staff at check out esnted me ti take clothes out o the hanger,me been disable had some one heló me with my shopping, and still she had a bad actitud...
Had a lot of empty shelves when I went in January but still found 4 outfits at great prices and didn't have to return any of them!
It's fine. Not very clean. A lot of broken or missing items. Returned clothes likely have rios or stains from previous purchase.
Clean, dressing rooms were nice. Not a lot of clearance but found a lot of great deals. Good shoe collection!
I used to love shopping at Ross, but they never get any decent clothing anymore. Step up your business.
Wide selection of toddler toys that they will actually play with, always hard to find 1-3 yrs old toys
Long long long line to the register, only 3 open in rush hour
Clean, well stocked, and the staff was very friendly.
