Customer service is non-existent. The only acknowledgment you get is from security who literally yells a mumble @everyone who enters. Cashiers & associates do not acknowledge "anyone". No welcome, hello, thank you, great day, nothing, zero eye contact. Merchandise is okay but there is large room for improvement on style & size. It's inconvenient as its very unorganized so you cannot find what your looking for. The majority of things are everywhere except in the loc/place is supposed/listed to be. Everything is scattered & strewn about, in misc places, & in literal misc piles, no matter what it is your looking for. Shoes are scattered & the majority were dirty inside & out. Women's makeup, hygiene, & accessories were all scattered & boxed items are dumped in a pile as to dig through, so the makeup is half broken with large portions missing & lost. The hair accessories are filthy/dusty & hair brushes were hanging with literal hair stuck in the bristles. I for one don't fancy hair bugs. The fitting rooms are an absolute eye watering disaster as the B.O. smell is awful & grotesque. It's a mix of aged sports underarms, sour feet, & the rancid city dump. Very unappealing to say the least. The floors are straight filthy everywhere, especially the fitting rooms & restroom. I mentioned to the associate that it was in desperate need of cleaning & lysol disinfectant spray, but she simply laughed, shrugged & said "it's always like that", Real professional ! There is zero privacy with sliding curtains for doors, so anyone at anytime can pull it straight open, yes even the opposite sex. Very, very uncomfortable. The shared restroom is unbelievably disgusting & unsanitary, it smells as though its mopped with 'used' toilet water. There we're only 2 cashiers for a line straight to the back, so one spends more time waiting in line than shopping. Overall it was not a warm, welcoming, or pleasant experience, so I will 'NOT' return. Training is recommended for all associates in customer service, merchandising, organization, placement/stocking, & cleanliness. Central & Atrisco may not be the best neighborhood, but the inside shopping experience doesn't need to express & amplify it. There is simply no excuse nor justification for the sloppy store presentation, organisation, dirty environment, lack of privacy, & rude un·welcoming customer service. This location is an embarrassment & in desperate need of an overhaul, reorganizing, & janitors... Hint; Burlington has very friendly staff, and it's clean, organized, & directly across the main street (So. Central)..

We had left Ross on central and atrisco and didn’t even want to buy anything we went across the street to Burlington cause of the rude customer service we got I’m a manager in retail and if I ever caught one of my employees treat a customer like me and my family were treated they would have been terminated. I understand long work and wanting to go home but the customer is the only reason stores are here with out customers then you don’t have profit or money coming in and those rude employees don’t have a job. Ross you should teach your employees better customer service I know I will never go back to the Ross again Burlington just won a customer and now my bad experience will be told to all friends and family so now Ross just lost a few customers not just one . I won’t sit here and claim I can stop tons of people from shopping there but I can for sure convince every family and friend not to go. Thanks Ross for the way I was treated I know management didn’t do it but those bad apples that you chose to represent your company ruined it for you. I've worked here for a year and I absolutely enjoy the team everyone is always friendly, outgoing people never any issues with anyone here. We have the best sps at this location we've gotten recognition here by corporate so that's always something to be proud of. Besides everyone's negative reviews our store is the best compared to other stores our team is respectful, hardworking, friendly here and always positive to make sure customer service is good. We might not have fully stocked inventory because of people walking out taking everything, customers throwing clothing, shoes and stuff in random parts of the store that we pick up throughout the day so never complain that it's messy we do try our best to have a nice looking store but even everyone else can pick up after themselves. The negative reviews don't see what we go through everyday, be grateful we are here serving you customer service other stores are short staffed and associates walking out. But other than that this location is very good I hope to stay here and work my way up to something out of my comfort zone.

I am a foster parent and the state provides clothing vouchers for the children and they are taxed exempted So I shopped for 2 children and manager said that it was not taxed exempted. He said that he can show me a paper explaining why he never did and when I called the case worker in front of him he took off the tax. I have been going to Burlington with no issue they always take off the tax. It might not seem like a big deal but the way I see it is the tax that they are charging is a outfit or socks or something for the kids. This happened some months ago but I'm still salty I wont even go back and spend any money there.

So, apparently this Ross only chooses to card their Black customers. I have shopped at this Ross several times, made returns, exchanges, purchases. I have never used my own credit card or debit card, I've always used my partner's, never been asked for identification. I've made returns and exchanges for store credit with no receipt and I've never been asked for identification. I am completely disgusted by the way this was handled by the manager and employees. Spent well over 1 hour shopping had close to $200 in various merchandise ready to check out this is where it all went down hill. Cashier informed me I was in the wrong line, so I move, cashier saunters over to move baskets then yells "Next in Line " (hmmm am I at Rudy's BBQ) that is their motto. So anyhow as she is ringing up my merchandise the cashier who told me to move calls the person who was behind me over to ring her up. So needless to say I informed them to keep there stuff and went to Wal-Mart better customer service by far.

Ross dress for less... is a fun to go through when you're out looking for a good bargin! I'm not big on fashion but i do love their home departments! I love finding donut mugs or donut mixes! The store is a little disorganized and always seems short staffed but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the bargin hunt! Today i found a donut mug with fuzzy donut socks! I call that a great day! If you are there to look for clothing sometimea going thru the racks can take some time! Plan ur shopping trip accordingly!

I came here to return a shirt that I had purchased at a different Ross location. The employee told me that I could not return it because the receipt & tag described it as "white" while the shirt was actually grey. I didn't feel as though I should be punished for their own mislabeling. The employee then told me that the tag "looked as if it had been pushed onto the shirt." She was accusing me of swapping tags to try to make a few bucks. The shirt cost $6.99...They are rude and their customer service sucks.

I definitely will b going back. A family member with health problem and massages will be helpful. I found a $100. massager for $14.99. Also a wonderful greatgrandaughter will have a "flamingo" birthday party theme. I'm floored!! I found a string of flamingo lights for$7.99!! I'll decorate a small Christmas tree for and elderly friend in Dec . I paid 49 cents for!! Thank you to Ross it was a wonderful day!! Your staff is definitely professional and helpful.

I spent sometime in there trying to find an outfit. The shorts had two different tags. Associate wanted to charge me the more expensive tag. I was like that's not right. He said sorry someone miss tagged it. It was much of a difference in price but there practices discouraged to want to shop there anymore. I turned down the sale and walked out.

I get all of my clothes here for cheaper than I would pay for them at the mall I love you store especially all the different clothes that they have if you love fragrances this is a place to get them for cheap and plus they have a lot of home decor and also closing to the wise kids I need them things for the animals great store

I would not have even gave one star, all employees were really rude. I asked for help the girl made a noise under her breath and just walked away after rolling her eyes. Manager was rude as well he greated the people before me and when I walked in looked at me and walked away. I've never felt so unwanted in store.

This place is trash now. Went there and had to wait "a few seconds" that literally did nothing and changed no difference what's so ever aside to make people more irate from the heat probably. Good deals with discounts on Tuesdays for seniors. Good selection of clothes, kitchen utensils, and yard items. Many people just walk in, fill backpacks with items and walk out without paying. Two while I was there in 30 minutes. Nothing is done so eventually cautious

Transplant from California, so it was nice to shop without crowds, long lines and friendly staff. Even with no lines, I was asked to wait 10 seconds before they allowed me in the store. Clean, not cluttered or was that because most of the shelves lacking merchandise.

I was there at closing and I felt bad for the girls working. A few people were just walking out of the store with merchandise lots of perfumes and colognes. The employees hands are tied because you have no idea how dangerous people are! Crime is high everywhere!!

Terrible! I left the north-east heights 2 years ago; and I have yet to find the nice selection of items at the south valley Ross as I was able to find at the Juan Tabo store & the Montgomery store. Quit skimping on the inventory for the South Valley residents.

Decent merchandise but usually crowded. The clothes aisles are over filled usually with excess clothes on the floor or thrown over the racks. They don't let you take hangers. You are usually greeted by an employee when you walk in.

I was a little bit bugged that there was stuff blocking almost every aisle. Understandable that it was a Sunday morning, so perhaps they were getting out inventory. I go to that location often and never had any issue's before.

The selection is real good. But my turn off to this Ross, is the bathroom, the most disgusting filfy. No soap no paper towels. Bathroom stinks like it hadn't been clean in days, weeks. Staff was not very cooperative either.

They have beautiful inexpensive clothes. they don't have Levi 501 jeans that fit me it is a great place to shop but they are very discriminatory and disrespectful. Dogs have more respect and they don't discriminate.
