This is by far the worst Ross I have ever been to! I get it it’s not a high end store and there’s certain expectations that you have walking into this store. Never thought that the entire store would be a safety hazard!!! I had a visually impaired adult with me and I had to LITERALLY move hangers, clothes, toys etc out of the way from the GROUND to avoid a fall accident. When we were checking out I asked the cashier if this is how the store normally looks like and she laughed and said “yes”. This is unacceptable! It shouldn’t be a laughing matter or seem like it’s normal to an employee to completely dismiss it as it was ok. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. Spoke with her and she said there’s a cleaning crew that comes in the mornings to clean. I expressed my concern was the items on the floor and she said they’re picked up throughout the day. Looking at how messy the store was it’s obvious no one is cleaning to store during business hours. Something needs to be done about this! If you have a visually impaired relative or someone that requires assistance with walking stay away from this store!

They have nice products, and they seem very Nice,?? well they are nice ( BUT they way they look at some / a majority of dark skin people at this location is very unfortunate)so please be aware of this. Example they may ask you several times are you ok, is this your basket , is this your items, are most of the time they will try to secretly hover around you like you don't notice (yes IAM serious) ( security and there security that it dress in public attire). If this does happen just nicely say is everything ok, can I help you with something and then often that's the clue or signal, to them Lets back off and that usually stop it are makes it better. Oh and waiting in a long @ss line is the normal they're because they talk a lot at the register to the other Co worker, ( if they was taking to customer no problems , but it's not) But on the flip side the ladies that be at the register are usually nice to the customer. And for any one i have been to this location over 15 times and it's like this every single time... I would love to give 5 stars for the store items but I can't because of this reason.

I'm not sure if this is true at all Ross locations but there are always first run brand name items at incredible discounts at this store.. Hit them at the right time and you might find a $400 pair of sun glasses for $50 or less. They turn inventory pretty quickly so to get the best values on your favorite items I would recommend dropping by the store at least once a month so you don't miss out! Ive purchased many items at this location that were still available at other retailer's but at huge discounts. You will find much more than the standard thought of- out of season, out of style, behind current fashion trend slow moving items and manufacture defects here. With that being said watch out for the defects as they are in the mix as well but they are generally always marked that way. Try it on before you buy it. But if you're short on time they have a pretty easy going return policy. Just save your receipts! If you can afford to invest a little time going through the items you will more than make up for it through your cost savings.

I found out the other day when I was there that there was no soap in the bathrooms! There was also poop on the toilet seat and on the walls! When I tried to tell an associate about it she told me that there is never soap in the bathroom! I then said so you are telling me that all your Associates do not wash their hands with soap and the customers also so everyone is transferring disgusting germs back and forth in the store. She looked at me and said yes! I went to the front and ask the lady about it she says someone comes early in the morning everyday but they do not clean the bathrooms. So what they are saying is they are too good to clean the bathrooms to make sure that disgusting germs do not get transferred onto clothes, blankets, purses and shoes! This store is so disgusting I wish I could give it a zero star instead of 1 star. Never shopping there again! Yuck

I would give this review no stars if possible. This place is beyond trash. I spend 400 dollars there and then the cashier tries to rescan a blanket that she already scanned so I tell her it has already been scanned and she questions me like I am lying. Looks at her computer and agrees it has already been scanned like I need to steal a 40 dollar blanket. She clearly can't keep track of what she is scanning then she forgets to take two anti theft devices off so the manager has to go back through all 400 dollars worth of stuff to find what is causing the alarm to go off and then the loss prevention rent a cop comes out to watch us walk to the car and watches us load everything in the car. Disgusting, appalling, and a whole bunch of other nasty words. don't go here save yourself the hassle it's easier to go without whatever you wanted from the store.

I'm not a big fan of Ross. This particular store at 51st ave and Indian School Rd is the worst one I've been to yet. Very disorganized and messy. All I needed was a pair of tan khakies for work, and I couldn't find anything even close to what I needed. Didn't think it was that hard of an order to fill. They did have a couple of pairs of shoes that I liked for a decent price ($20). But the check-out line was way too long for me to waist more time in. Especially since I still needed to find some khaki pants before I went to work, only a couple of hours later that night. All in all, I don't think I'll be returning to Ross again, anytime soon. At least not that store location, if any, again.

If I could I'd give this Ross negative stars. This was the most disgusting Ross I've ever been in. Everything was everywhere. There was nothing organized. Stuff left everywhere, on the ground, in carts pushed into aisles. It was like a tornado hit. And the "it's the holiday season" is no excuse for what I saw there. I have worked in retail for years and I typically love Ross but this was horrible and I'll steer everyone I know away from this place. There was only one worker there that was nice and the police officer that welcomed me in. I would've been embarrassed to work there myself honestly.

The place it self is overall messy. To check out, it is always a long wait since for the most part there is only 2 cashiers open. And if the girl with the red hair is one of them, then it is a longer wait , since she's either eating or just talking with her coworkers across the store with no care about the customers. When it was my turn to pay she was eating and wasn't even considerate enough to stop chewing as she was talking. Not a pleasant place to shop. It is in a convenient location however I would recommend a little more of a drive to go to another one than this one.

Ross is the place I love going for my toddlers clothes and shoes. A lot of people sleep on this store considering you're getting name brand clothes and shoes for the low. I've bought a couple of name brand handbags here as well as glasses. The staff are always busy besides security who's just on alert mode lol.The prices are great, I remember one time I bought my man a Polo Jacket for $80 and it's original price was $160, that's 50% off retail price. I'm always a satisfied person coming here and will continue to come shop here .

I never been to this ROSS store in my life. I came to visit my brother in this area. Decided to stop because something you can find GREAT THINGS!! I had short shorts on and a hoodie crop top and was asked to leave! I was asked to leave because I was seen shop lifting before. I told them I was from Central Phoenix and why do I need to steal for. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SHOCKED. Idk if it’s my fem look because I never stop here or shopped in this area. One day I wanted to and be treated like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't have as much merchandise as usual it seemed it could be me or something but it seemed like tha stock was low only had certain stuff and not much of it I usally spend lot cause I find sweet stuff but I only found two things and they ended up not being the correct size again they had very low inventory I figured they can squeeze in but no luck they were way to small now I will have to return them as they had no dressing room cause all the stuff going on . Staff was super helpful and friendly .

This store needs to be closed down. They allowed people to steal for years and their solution is to close the bathrooms down? So as a paying customer I have to be subjected to the same punishment as the person who steals. I honestly believe it's because of the color of my skin. There were only two black people in the store and the armed police officer found it suffice to make sure he walk by me. I will be on the phone Monday morning with corporate and I will also make sure I talk to the media about it.

I don't want to talk anything bad about the workers because they were excellent. But while I was in line to pay 2 robberies occured in front of everyone. Two men in seperate incidents grabbed clothes and purses and walked out like nothing while the manager followed them but could do nothing. Police was called but who knows they took to get there when I left. People are becoming disgusting with no morals or respect. Shameless society we live in nowadays.

Well went into my some bathing suits for the girls and loss prevention can going all around us... I felt harassed I couldn't shop in peace making me feel guilty you and I ain't trying to steal anything.. maybe cuz my boyfriend is full of tattoos yet do they know that he's a full-time worker makes a good money and provides for us straight out profiling very uncomfortable.. other than that I'm like the store because I can find everything I need there...

This Ross can be organized at times. And fully stocked. But as soon as I went in the dressing room I haven't been able to go back. Dressing room had a very unpleasant smell, its disgusting. Definitely not a sewer smell, it's just a dirty scent. I felt grossed out and had to leave as soon as possible. Hope this is taken care of soon! It wasn't just a one day thing it was like that before. Update 06/10/19 not sure why hygiene is so bad at this location.

The girl that works in the front is the assistant manager screamed at me in front of a bunch of customers I did not feel valued as a customer or appreciated no patience she act like she didn't even want to help me I will take my business elsewhere and go to the one on 32nd Street and Union School and avoid that one if the because assistant manager is so rude and gave me dirty looks the whole time I was in there no no respect no respect at all

Just to purchase a pair of Sandals, I couldn't believe the extreme long line there was of customers waiting to pay for their merchandise, and only 2 cashier's open, and one of the cashier was for return or exchange. And there was a few employees just standing there talking to the cashier about let's go out a chill tonight. Instead she should be like I'm gonna open a register and help you ring up the customers.

One very long line and only 3 registers open...very weird setup in this store as far as checking out your merchandise at 51st Ave and Indian School Rd. Finally get up to the register and the clerk doesn't acknowledge or even look at me. When she rang up my items, she stated the amount I owed while looking away. I don't think I have experienced anything quite this bad and needless to say, I won't be back!!

This store is a mess!!! Carts can't even go through aisles because of all the clutter. They really need more employees or better management. I also found some opened items. It was really difficult to shop through the mess and the line took exactly 27 min to help 6 people including me. I will definitely not be coming back in a very long time. Perhaps in a year or so to check out if things got any better

Dont feel safe to leave my car and shop....shady characters in the store, alerted "security" thanked me for the tip...however stated corporate communicates....basically to leave it alone. My opinion....get the tazer that shoots out up to 6 feet away, taze as they are running out the door, zip tie their ankles, pull the mask down, have them say "cheese" for the seciurity cameras and call the cops

Years ago I would always shop at Ross. Now it appears the women clothes and children clothing is the dominant items in Ross. The prices no long price for less. Men items such as men pants no longer sold there. Sizes 40+ don't exist, men shoes sizes 8.5 and up to 10.5 are usually sold out or they no longer sale those sizes. That men shoes, but women shoes, clothing and apparels are plentiful.

I never give 1 stars but I have to with this place. The aisles are way too tiny. You can barely fit one cart and in some aisles I actually had to move the rack of clothes just to fit my cart. The organization is atrocious, pants and shirts in the dress section, pants in the swimsuit section. Clothes are strewn everywhere on the floor. It was not a pleasant shopping experience

Decent price on there items. But they are low on staff, unorganized,and pass rude. Can't walk into the store without having security giving you a look as if your going to run out with something. Bought a chest from there and security took it from my shopping cart and said I may get it when I go pay at the register. Needs massive improvement to make it a good store...

Lines are always super long and annoying so I never get to buy anything it's sad really I go and find stuff and when I see how long the line is and slow its going I just leave lol even if it ain't long it still takes a while to get outa there..maybe it's just my patience and there's never no bags/ purses there for some reason everythings always gone in that section

Customer service is good. Place is too packed too often, and for me the worst part is the size if the isles. How do you expect 2 Lanes of traffic with carts to get anything done there. I don't shop Ross, probably never will unless they make shopper traffic more of a possibility. Their customer service keeps this from being 1 star. Their prices are good.

Everyone who worked there seemed very polite and did their job well. They great you when you walk in the store and the cashier was very fast. The restrooms were clean and the dressing room were too. I spent hours in there and found some nice things for my daughter, my friend and myself for a reasonable price. I would return to that store for sure.

Ross always has great items and at prices that are lower than normal. I have found most workers to be helpful and even allowed my daughter use the bathroom.... Something most stores do not allow anymore. The store is messy from customers moving items they decide not to get . We got many presents for our children for the Christmas of 2021.

The store looks great after the remodel, its a shame I see customers trashing the place every time I shop here. What slobs! Some of the worst shoppers I have ever been around. Poor employees must have a huge mess after every shift, on top of all the shoplifting they deal with. Cashiers need more help and probably better pay.

I really love going into this Ross. They are tremendously faster than most of the other branch stores when it comes to checking out. They have awesome customer service here and I have to refrain from spending all of my paycheck because they have GREAT STUFF AT GREAT PRICES!!! No i was not paid to say any of this. Haha

This store is smaller than others but it's in a convenient location and it has a pretty good inventory. I always shop here for discounted brand name items. Unfortunately there are no public restrooms in case you shopped for too long and you really have to go. I left my whole cart and went to Walmart next door.

The checkout line goes all the way back to the bras/underwear section due to 2 cashiers open only. My daughter (age 6) was denied the restroom when I have been here before and used it. She literally almost peed herself. 3 employees chitchatting in the dressing room area instead of helping out. Unbelievable.

Very messy and they don’t work look at the line in the pictures I took them and on only one cashier and there are many workers just walking around , hand sanitizers are most of them open . They make people get tired or see the line and run away and leave the stuff that they wanted to buy

The place was over packed. I could not find anything cause everything thing was scattered everywhere and on top of that the line was extremely pack they had 3 workers on the register and a 30 minutes wait on the line. They should be more prepaid for the weekends and holiday crowd.

They always have nice stuff and affordable prices, but this store is normally pretty busy or they might not have as many things as other stores because they sell faster, I am very picky when it comes to shopping I like nice but I also like cheap prices.

For the most part they have the best prices for a Ross in this area. However, the cleanliness needs some work. Totally understand with all the traffic, but the trash this is left around makes it seem like nothing gets cleaned throughout the day.

Its always hard to find jeans in my size. But shirts on the other hand, they have so much shirts from dress shirts to jersey shirts. Watches and glasses were stocked up and really nice...never know what you will find at ross
